John, we're not bringing down anything that will rip on the street. Cavin and I have been BS'ing about running each other for awhile now...then I guess a couple more folks wanted to join in. You, Sam and Cavin should smoke me. Hopefully it will be a mellow, fun night. But as far as a Cle vs. Col meet, this is going to disappoint those who want to make it a big deal. I would however really like Joe to show up in his Viper. Between Don, Cavin and me, I'm sure we'll find someone willing to jump in, turn the boost up in the Supra and put some good money down to run his Viper on tape. Thanks. Beege (Bill) is from Akron. I did a lot of research on who I wanted painting this car and Beege was in a class of his own. I encourage anyone looking for high end paint work to call him. He doesn't like to work on Chevy's though

It's actually OEM Toyota Spectra Blue Mica. You'll see Tundra's, Celica's and Rav4's occasionally painted this color.

Thanks everyone. Yea, Gary couldn't get to the cage until late October, so the car sat for about 2 months. He finished towards the end of January with all the chassis work. Then Don had the car for about 6-8 weeks for mock-up. Then it went to paint 4 weeks ago. Beege works on this car weekends/evenings and already has over 150 hours into it. The amount of detail into this car is unreal. As for the motor, pretty similar to Boost Logic's 06 car.....

I stopped by this evening to check on the progress Beege is making on the car. Damn, that guy is a good painter. :-D I've finally met someone as anal as I am. I pre-orded a couple LI's awhile ago....it should kick-ass. I have had a Shifter for the past few years in my S4, it also worked really well, saved me a bunch of times, but the new guns are trickier. I also have a Blinder and it has worked well too. But the LI is in a whole new class....

Andy....any chance you'll come to Cleveland to do 2-3 cars?

I've got $100k that car doesn't run 8's. Please someone who knows him better ask him to come back on here. Hell you can look at the engine bay and tell that he'd need a major tailwind to run a 10....

And Don turned the boost all the way down to wastegate pressure before Cavin picked it up....crank up the boost then do a couple pulls

No that was a supra I beat later that night at only 31 lbs. And he was racing a slower bike

It was actually a turbo'd Gixxer 1000. Made 221 to the tire that night on race gas. From a 60 roll on 31 psi I passed it around 140 and put about 1-2 cars in it to the top of 4th. It was from last years Tx meet, in-car video is floating around somewhere on the Supra forums. Glad you like the car Cavin! When your ready, turn up the boost to 44 psi and run the fastest bike in town from a 70 roll. Doubt the car could get beat to 170 down there, but then again, there's always someone faster

Thanks. Yes, plus the new Supra and another "project car" that will soon be started. Although I love the S4, especially now with the new turbo kit, it's probably going to be the one that I'm going to sell this summer.

Oh yea, I forgot about that. Well, I loss by less than a car length to that Hornet on big spray from a 15-20 mph roll on cold tires, so I would have run away from your ass But I'm sure you'll get that race with Cavin....as soon as you get your car back.

Yea, I've been to Waterfest a couple times, but with the recent shitty weather, show car goofs, and worthwhile street racing getting tougher to come by, it's not worth the trip IMO. Look forward to seeing your car. Tuning has been a one-off by Moss and Garrett. There's another GT30 S4 using 034 (Mike Simmply), but it's really crude and not running well. We think our car is a bit faster, that's why Garrett wants it to stay out in LA for the drag event

I will. I love R32's, but for what I'd sell the S4 for (which only has 30k miles and is beyond mint), it'll probably be less or about the same money apples to apples, definitely faster, and an all around nicer car.

Actually, I may be selling the S4. It's going to be at the German Invasion drag event in a few weeks out in LA, then finally coming home. It is currently the only well running GT28 S4 in the world. Our official hp numbers are in the high 500's to the tire and we're sticking to it for right now IMO, hands down the best 4 door sleeper out there. If I do decide to sell it, I'll post all the specs for anyone who might be interested. If I had the space and a wife who liked cars, I'd keep it for sure!
