  1. Damn, I saw that car at a show in Daytona Beach about a year ago. Really nice work on it, glad the owners okay.
  2. Actually, it started out as an "insanity test" somewhere. You had to look at a picture of an F1 with the audio for 30 seconds without laughing. Very much beginning of the internet.
  3. There was one located on Alum Creek Drive, north of 270, until the construction started. Neat looking thing, but no way in hell would I take it onto any road today. BTW Buckeye, was yours a darkish red?
  4. Not if your car is the real deal. I guess I could've used a 318 powered Charger with Hemi badges as an example, or any other "cloned" car, but all those 93 and 94 "R's" with blatantly incorect parts that were around just annoy me. Same as the "SRT Look" Neons, and non-turbo Supra's with the wing.
  5. I think it was an old video of somebody with a 7mm Winchester setup. Little bullet, high velocity. A BMG round, oddly enough, wouldn't do that to a small target like a prarie dog. It'd pretty much go straight through with little velocity loss.
  6. Somebody tell me WTF the point of any of those cars is? The people who you WANT to fool are the ones who WON'T be fooled! It's like all the "Type-R" Integras with 4 lugs wheels. If you want to impress the ignorant, just slap Ferrari badges on the stock body and save yourself the time, trouble, and money, because they won't know an NSX from a NX.
  7. I don't even beleive in AtlantA.
  8. It's the Nats that have the problems, the Classic seems to attract a better crowd. I only saw one person actually drinking, and they weren't part of the cruise.
  9. Almost as bad as an error downloading codec. Poop.
  10. I've always wondered if that would really work. I'm pretty sure you'd need a lot more juice than it would take to drop a person though.
  11. How about Nicola Tesla? I know he wasn't a native, but he did all his best work once he immigrated. What did he invent? Basically the 20th century....
  12. Today I learned that little bitty kittens that have claws less than a tenth of an inch long can nevertheless carve a bloody furrow in my leg when I scare them by sneezing.
  13. I very much doubt that a plastic bag even COULD be fingerprinted. The suspended license gave the cop grounds to search the car. And when he found the pot, (near the drivers area I assume) that definitely gave him grounds to search the rest of the car. You should be able to plead down fairly easily. Don't argue on the suspension, and offer a guilty on the pot if they'll drop the shroom. DA should go for the sure misdemeanor over a possible F5.
  14. The rims are PERFECT for the car. Most of the cars I've seen have had either stock rims, or the old Corolla rims. BTW I can't believe you've posted a pic of the car at the Trails, and nobody has asked you what you ran yet. So...........whatcha run?
  15. Buzzards are a different bird, slightly smaller.
  16. Yeah, not Wirthmans. They tried to rip me off once, and that's enough.
  17. Dirty Larry, Crazy Mary. Might be the other way around, lotsa good car sequences in that. Since nobody else has said it, how about the only movies that actually STARRED a car? Gotta go with The Love Bug and Christine.
  18. Looking for late model Mopars, and just about any oddball cars too, like FIATS, Yugos, and stuff like that. Cantleys is good, but their yard seems to be big wasp central!
  19. Santa PoD, with a "D". 'Tis in Merry Olde England.
  20. Santa PoD, with a "D". 'Tis in Merry Olde England.
  21. Anyone got a list of pick-a-part yards in Columbus? I know UWI, Cantley's, and J&C, but that's about it. SBC has decided I don't need a Yellow Pages, FYI.
  22. You're right, but in my defense I'm usually lost anyway.
