  1. Simple Green, with a ton of elbow grease. Then follow it up with a layer of CD2.
  2. http://www.prime-mover.org/Engines/Images/cw_rotors.jpg Got rotor envy?
  3. Why do women think that ripping their eyebrows off and then painting them back on is attractive? That is the one thing I noticed about that chick, maybe if she didn't have Christina Ricci's forehead she'd look better.
  4. 2:20 of idling motor, followed by the passenger waving his hand around. The car on the left is an Ultima GTR, and I'd love to have seen what it ran.
  5. Look at how many people are actually clicking the link. Think about how many people would be looking at it on the road.
  6. I've seen Gordon, Dale Jr, Dale Sr, and Bobby Labonte on Chevys, plus a Sterling Marlin Interpid. I don't get it either.
  7. Was that at Milan? Good luck getting good 60's there, it just ain't gonna happen with that track.
  8. I took my Avenger to Spitzer Dodge 2 weeks ago for some unusual problems after I had some electrical work done on the car. First off, I had no Overdrive. Second, my airbag light was on. They had the car for 3 hours, trying to diagnose the problem. They got no codes related to either problem, and decided that the tranny controller would need to be replaced. The airbag was pinned down to a connector being unplugged, and the airbag computer "remembering" that there was an open connection. The controller was swapped, but did not solve the problem. The mechanic told that basically they had no idea what the problem was, and that he wouldn't be able to track it down. He spent a great deal of time trying to persuade me to TRADE THE CAR IN, some more time telling me that I had an aftermarket alarm (duh) and stereo (duhduh), and that the wiring for both of those items was "hacked up pretty badly". Now, I had installed both of those items myself, and I sure as HELL didn't "hack" the wiring. The rep also told me that their shop didn't have the correct wiring and diagnostic books for the Avenger, and had lost their adaptor to plug the diagnostic computer into the Avenger (which has the standard Dodge OBD2 diagnostic connector, and standard Dodge coding). Well, I took the car home, with no overdrive and the airbag light still on, and it sat for 2 weeks while the problem was discussed on the Avenger forums. One of the posts mentioned that I should check to see if my reverse lights came on, if they didn't, then I likely had a short somewhere in that ground circuit, which is shared with the tranny controller, and of some of the airbag components. Sure enough, the fuse was blown. None of the mechanics had bothered to check any of the fuses. They had obviously been under the dash, because one of my door pin-switches wiring was seperated. Since that wiring was right next to the fuse box, they could have LOOKED to check the fuses. The fusebox hadn't been touched, there were no fingerprints in the thick layer of dust on the cover. I'm going to be calling the local rep Monday, I don't appreciate having to pay for a $275 tranny controller when it was an improperly diagnosed FUSE issue all along.
  9. That happened to a guy we shared a campground with. His friends were nice enough to tie his hands behind his back for the last 2 days of their trip. I've never felt sorrier for anyone.
  10. 87 Topps Bonds=about $10-15, depends on where you get prices from. His rookie card was the 86 Topps Traded set, those are about 35-50. Barry Bonds cards are gonna go through the roof soon, 700 HRs by the end of the year, and Hank should be worried.
  11. Good man, most people would have panicked, or just not done anything. Keeping your head when you were confronted by an unexpected situation is the hardest thing in the world.
  12. It's about time the Kerry people started doing that, Bushies have been playing that card for months. BTW, before anyone starts, I won't vote for either one of those morons.
  13. I'm just gonna list a few, the list is long and most of them are not fondly remembered! 1st car: 1981 Mercury Lynx L: The only mod was turning the gas motor into a diesel (needed rings, seals, guides, and anything else that kept oil from burning!) Current(something like 40-ish cars later) 1998 Dodge Avenger, mods in my sig. 1993 Plymouth Duster, mods are FMTKAYTFO. 1992 Chrysler Imperial, not running, but great to sit in and listen to the radio!
  14. I enjoyed watching the oddball sports the most. Things like handball, water polo, and stuff like that. The badminton was an eye-opener, I couldn't believe those things were moving at 200+ MPH!
  15. They really lower the ground pressure of the vehicle. You can drive on TOP of the mud, instead of through it. It's damn near impossible to get a tracked vehicle stuck in mud.
  16. To my little brother, AKA Gonneville. Went out to the trails last night, he ran a 15.57@88. I was surprised as hell, I wouldn't have thought a 95 SSEi would've run that fast. graemlins/burnout.gif
  17. U-wrench-it down on London-Groveport road has a ton of import stuff. It's a pull it yourself yard, so take your tools. Costs a dollar to get in, they do that for liability reasons I guess.
  18. U-wrench-it down on London-Groveport road has a ton of import stuff. It's a pull it yourself yard, so take your tools. Costs a dollar to get in, and you might even get a core charge to redeem.
  19. R: Hey nice Stealth! M: Thanks, but it's an Avenger, not a Stealth. R: No, that's a Stealth, my uncle had one. M: They do look a lot alike, but this is an Avenger, the Stealth is much lower for starters. R: Dude, I ain't no eeediot, that's a damn Stealth! M: My mistake, obviously the title, registration, and the logos on the car that say Avenger are wrong. R: <revs 99 Civic DX motor> M: Nice Hyundai.
  20. Cliff notes: ARGUEMENT ARGUEMENT ARGUEMENT ARGUEMENT ARGUEMENT ARGUEMENT shark. Worse than Blair Witch in all respects, except the camera work in BW was slightly less bad.
  21. Blown glass tubing for CAI piping, and fluid hoses. http://www.optifloinc.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/ Hmm, that's actually kind of neat. I wouldn't do that on my car, but it'd be cool for a show vehicle!
  22. That access road in front of Red Roof on Brice will never be the same...I think the last few vehicles weren't even touching the asphalt, they were smoking their tires on all the rubber pieces from the previous cars!
  23. Hmm, what about the early Anime stuff, like Voltron and Robotech? Robotech was the shit.... I always liked Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog, and older stuff like that. Just some really funny crap.
