Has anyone been to pick and pull lately?
Avenger1647545502 replied to CJINOHIO03's topic in Passing Lane
I went in Sunday, the only 3rd gen was a pretty ragged out V6/auto car. Most of the interior was shot. Woody's on McKinley had a couple of cars though, including a lime green metalflake masterpiece..... -
Yeah, I was wondering why there were no ads for it in the Dispatch Sports section like usual. Fucker better hope the cops get him first, some of those dealers are NOT NICE.

http://www.progunshows.com for the explanation.

No, it's the fact that she has the kid in a CUBS jumper. Jesus, talk about setting the kid up for a lifetime of therapy.....

I'm still freaked out that Colonel Tigh is a Cylon! I have no idea who the final Cylon is going to turn out to be, but I'm leaning toward it being....LEE ADAMA!!!!! I don't know exactly how he could be, given that neither of his parents is one, but what the heck! I'm thinking that somehow, some way, they find Earth....but either there is the decaying rubble of a long-dead civilization, or just an empty planet. I'm leaning towards some version of the former. I'm not sure if the angle would be that the colony failed long long ago and our civilization is merely the bounce-back, or that the Galactica people will turn out to be our ancestors. All I know is that I still have to wait 49 hours and 21 minutes, and IT'S FRAKKIN KILLING ME!

http://forums.beyond.ca/st/212943/1991-skyline-gt-r-stolen-calgary-ab-cash-rewardpics-of-criminals-inside/ Cliff notes: Guy takes R-33 for test drive, doesn't come back. Car is posted in forum as stolen. Forum member spots car, can't catch them, but gives rough location as well as a pic of the thief driving it. Other forum members search for the car, find it at a house, and BLOCK THE CAR IN WHILE CALLING THE POLICE, who arrest the perp. Youtube is invoked, viral pwnage begins......

I've tested a few cars there, but no way would I ever buy one from them. Their salespeople frankly annoy me. The last time I went in, back in 2006, to test a Sentra, the sales guy WOULDN'T LET ME DRIVE THE CAR. Allow me to repeat that: HE WOULD NOT LET ME TEST DRIVE THE CAR. And after he drove me around for 15 minutes while I got increasingly annoyed, he had the nerve to try to get me to sit down and start signing!

FedEx Ground really fucking sucks!!!
Avenger1647545502 replied to ShankroidBeast's topic in Dumpster
I ship out something like 4 to 5 HUNDRED packages a day by Fed-Ex Ground, and I can say that their delivery people are universally fucktards. I have literally no idea how any company can manage to so CONSISTENTLY fuck up the simple procedure of actually reading the damn shipping label on the fucking box. I've had stuff get taken to the wrong house, to the wrong street, to the wrong city, and even the wrong damn COUNTRY. Sure Alaska and Alberta start off the same, but three letters in there's a sudden plot twist! -
Um, looks like the 1900hp is some sort of "projected" HP, the graph for the final pull shows the curve diving when the motor went, well before the top of the scale, with the curve still rising. The 1700 pull maxed the graph.

Oh yeah, but I never use the thing. To be honest, it's pretty clunky, I'm quicker loading mags by hand. One less mag loader in the range bag=one more actual mag in the range bag, too. Realistically, if you NEED the mag loader for an XD45, you shouldn't be shooting an XD45, or any .45.

Yeah, Harvest Glen is dropping. Not as bad as other places nearby, but getting bad. A new management company bought the place back in July, and jacked up the rents. You can't get hold of maintenance to save your life, they NEVER answer the phone (Hi, I can see you through the office window, get off of eBay!), and now they have parking passes, with no visitor parking spots anywhere near my apartment. They don't mow, they don't shovel the snow off of the walkways or put down salt, and the garbage never gets picked up. The "WATER AND SEWAGE" that they through-bill doubled in a month, with no change to anybody else in Columbus. What really has me ticked off is the shingles blowing off of the roofs every time there is any wind. The old company told them the roofs needed replaced, and they did nothing about it. So at least FIVE times since October, I've come outside in the morning to find shingles all over my and my brothers car. He's got something like $1400 in damage to his Park Avenue now, from shingles being dropped and blown into it. My neighbors Sable has a huge dent in the hood, another one lost 3 tires to roofing nails from the shingles, and there are at least a dozen others. We had to threaten to go to the housing authority and set up an escrow rent account to get their insurance info, they kept trying to pull the "Act of God" crap. First time maybe, but the next four? And they STILL keep using the same company to "FIX" the roof.

They aren't freckles, they are sarcoma from the meth. Jesus, she went downhill BAD.

Next time they go on vacation, help them have a yard sale!

Avoid Harvest Glen off of Georgesville and Norton. Also the place across Norton from it. And the apartments on Norton just north of the railroad tracks, crack head city....

That's why I take as many new shooters with me as possible, so I don't have to load my own mags, LOL. I've never had problems with the 13 rounders for my XD-45, and those have a bit of a reputation for being a little tight. But I'm up to 10 mags for it now, so I may just have to get one of those!

Oh, I was so digging Hot Rod's version of the Gremlin and Pacer. Especially the Pacer. Fawk, that thing looked wicked.......

Go to Niagara, there's a spot right at the end of the American Falls that you COULD do that, if the water level is low enough.
-
Well, this spun wildly out of control. BTW the answer is, of course, 42.

AJ, my 93 Shadow has a Holley throttle body from the factory. A fair number of MOPAR and import cars did.

Okay, this is basically a physics question, and honestly I already know the answer, but I'm going to throw it out on here so others can chime in. If you are ACCELERATING in a car, and stomp in the clutch, thus removing power, does the car continue to gain velocity past the MPH at which you hit the clutch? Or does the vehicle instantly stop accelerating and go no faster than the velocity it was when the clutch was hit?
-
The V6 in the Tiburon is basically a Mitsu 6G series motor.

All of the TD people (and the other FWD Mopars) tend to meet up right in front of the BK on Brice for the cruise. Just look for a huge cluster of black Shadows, seems like we all have one now. I'm not sure about the show itself this year, but I'm going on Saturday myself. If anyone wants to meet up there, just lemme know.

I've decided why I don't like Trails. That little uphill slope between the stage lanes and the track always fuggers my clutch technique. I spend all day getting the pedal travel just right, that tiny fraction between on and off, then I have to go up that damn slope and it throws me off every time.

I'm impressed! Taking a couple thou off of some 90-year old widow just isn't hard, but hitting a bank employee from 240 MILLION has got to be some kind of a record for ballsyness.

The one of the guy riding his bike down the street....did he really just crash from hitting the crosswalk markings?!?! Good Lord....
