Actually, no, I built my car to be 'all around' fun for now, and will go to track (road course) duties eventually again, the n2o is just for now, for fun and i drag race because until i can afford the time/money to track the car, its a cheap way to have the fun and get some racing kicks in... I 'strace' very very very rarely, and am the one called out after trolling someone... and as far as cornering decently.. I dont try corner carving on the street... did that stuff when i was younger and dumber... I have a problem not being able to drive below the limit when going at it... and the bad thing about driving at the limit, is sometimes you go over it, and when that happens, cars get hurt...

thats why i am considering them... the GTR guys use them as well.... if it wasnt for seeing that, I would have already chosen the M/T's..... I will say those guys also say they do it for "improved handling"... but im not going to be trying to rip 1g turns on the street anyway...

Opinion from the high HP street cars? ~570whp n/a, ~750-800whp on n2o as an example... I have some (probably out of date) Toyo RA1s on the car now, and they just dont do the trick, and when it gets below 70deg outside, forget about it... So who uses what? This is for STREET driving but including 40 trolls and potential dig races... i have different wheels/tires for track days, and CCW drag pack for serious drag strip use... (yes this is for a target audience....) Oh, and for the RWD guys... what ya running up front?

I want to know what "heads" consists of... hand porting on the stockers? milling? I cant imagine too much... I highly doubt an aftermarket casting/machining is available... and since it says stock intake, it would suggest they didnt put LS heads on it (which would not work with DI).

Weird, 2nd time today someOne has dogged the c5 interior. I actually like it for the most part and think it is less plasticky than the c6... (Though like the c6 aesthetic design more) Only thing I am not a fan of is the weird handle bar on the passenger side dash... Though I think my passengers appreciate it at times... That and the seats, which I took care of...

Hey dum dum, a new thread WAS started.

RPM lvl4 with 30 splined 3.90 ordered. Should have it in 1.5 weeks, then assembly time.

My bad, I was in a rush.

thinking about either having RPM do it, or just having them sell me the parts (EDM'd 3.90, stub shafts, and pinion support) and doing it with my ole' buddy Danny.

Just added more to this saga... imstock2 told me that these drivelines were fragile and would be destroyed at the slightest wheel hop... SO.... I just purchased a Rockland-Standard Tranzilla; aka built Magnum T56; aka built TR6060 with a 30 spline HD output shaft, ZR1 gear ratio, and external lube system (trans cooler). Will be getting a 3.90 gear set, 300M stubshafts, and c6z pinion support for hte diff... as well as a trans brace and installing my uber sweet pfadt racing diff mount/support. Oh, and my TPE fenders showed up... so now to figure out the new wheel stuff... and get some new tires (BFG Rival) in the mail. And I will have it all done just in time for winter to be here, lol.
