  1. You built the car for your son? I hope he realizes and respects what a great dad he has! (And shows the gratitude by respecting and appreciating the car!)
  2. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=cab+chicago+accident+hit+and+run+video http://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20131106/lakeview/watch-hit-run-suv-determined-leave-scene-crashes-four-other-cars
  3. Its also coincidental, I had just looked at this car the other day... http://www.bladboys.com/component/option,com_dealeraccelerate/view,details/id,32
  4. insanely cool! i love the taillights! PS, you need higher resolution pictures!
  5. That's cooking that's close to what I ran last year...
  6. Yes, we are over that, and in the margin between tax rates that we get shafted... The only thing you can do is figure your estimated taxes and have them take additional out per paycheck... Or save and pay it at tax season.
  7. Nope... This is actually fairly common for dual income households where both are equivalent ("higher") earners... Tax rates are based on single incomes... When you have two similar incomes, the combined income is taxed at a lower rate individually than it would be for the same total income of a single earner at that rate... So that difference is owed to Uncle Sam. The "marriage penalty"... IE: if my wife and I pay 30% in taxes on our individual pay checks... If those paychecks were from a single earner, it would have been 35%... So we owe that 5% difference because of the way tax laws are set up.
  8. Agree completely... my combined household income puts me just under being in the "top 10%" (amazing how low that income is IMO)... I am not rich, by any means.... I claim zero, have no special sources of income, etc... I claim zero, paying the max amount in taxes (about 30% per paycheck), and I get to then pay an extra $3,000-4,000 as a bill every spring... You talk about making me pay more? Here's a reality of how extravagant my life is: No cable TV take our 2 kids to a babysitter to afford daycare eat out for food about once every other week Modes house in a modest cookie cutter neighborhood in a middleclass town.. yea I'm the rich evil guy that needs to pay my share, LOL
  9. uhhhh.... Not sure how you figure? If you're talking 7% of income percentile... that would mean you think that the avg CR member makes less than $8k per year? Not sure if this has been brought up... dont want to read the bickering in all of this thread.... I will say, I have agreement on some thoughts... and I do think the wealthy need higher tax rates, but disagree with where that line is drawn on who pays more... According to those charts I am RICH in 'murica... and I certainly would consider myself middle class based on lifestyle... and based on that agree with your statement that I am closer with 'low-income' than one would believe, or more to actuality, the "middle-class" they label is more to being "rich" than they think...
  10. lol.... I think your a bit in the clouds on that one. If you dont think OSU had to compete for him, and put up big dollars and tell him all the great reasons he should come... you're out of your mind. Sure I think the open positions at the time made it easier... but if the OUs, Alabama's, etc... of hte world had flashed the highest dollars and best incentives, he'd have given a great speech there on how much he loved that school....
  11. Gene Smith is horrible!! I mean he was a key part in bringing that terrible Urban Meyer, the most desired unemployed Head Coach for some stupid reason.... Look how badly OSU athletics are doing!!!
  12. We're not talking about writing... How do they type? Does an email read like a teenage girl wrote it? I also work with some brilliant minds, don't think I've ever got an email from one that looked like they couldn't comprehend basic English, well except for the ones that don't use English as their native language.
  13. Why do I get the distinct impression that LJ likes to argue, just for the sake of arguing.
  14. Sorry bro, language logic is a part of the Mensa test... And if you want to take it, why don't you? <---BTW, scored a 137 on an IQ test... in the 3rd grade. (to get into uber-nerd school)
  15. Please tell me more about these engineering skills? BTW, I am a firm believer that grammar is a great basic litmus test for judging ones basic intellectual capacity.... If you never bothered to understand or utilize basic English, what else did you learn half-assed? And fools like to use the "Einstein failed math" as another excuse to make them feel better about their own ignorance/deficiency. Einstein failed math because it was too basic/easy/boring and he didn't do the work. Based on his complex mathematical theories/solutions, it's safe to say he was really good at math... Unlike you, you're not actually really good at basic English and don't care... You honestly just have poor English skills.
  16. ^ You have to admit that was a great marketing play at trying to strengthen UC as a significant football presence in Ohio... and at the time of it, UC fans had a lot to be proud of and anticipate... we had some REALLY strong teams.... I still wish I knew how the Sugar Bowl had played out if Brian Kelly (may he burn in hell) hadnt decided to leave before the game, and Urban Meyer hadnt given Fla the "lets win one for the gipper" motivation... Who knows, may have still been a blow out, but for some reason, I dont want to believe so... Just dont lump me in with the fan-atic.... I have always recognized that we had an uphill battle and dont have a spot at hte big kid table... cant even touch the history and pedigree of OSU football.... (though keep in mind OSU has a lot of annoying fan-atics as well...)
  17. Just remember guys, could always be worse... you could be a UC fan.... :fuuuu:
  18. I dont know why I keep people saying it looks like a Taurus... Sure it shares design cues, like Ford is doing across their product line... But to me I think it looks like 5-6 yrs ago the european designers (Jag A-M) were hired (maybe when they split in 2007?) to do the Ford designs. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/1fynzx/ku-bigpic_zpsfd9e3b30.jpg http://iastonmartin.info/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/aston-martin-db9-specs.jpg http://ashland.oregon.localsguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/2011-Aston-Martin-DB9-1.jpg
  19. Different philosophies at work John-O.... Tressels style wasn't about high speed offense... It was old school ground and pound and tough defense... And when you get a good marginal lead, you put in backups. So you wouldn't expect many high scoring games... Meyer plays the BCS game, run up the scor high as possible to get the best chance at ranking, high power fast offense, etc...
  20. That would be a much more accurate statement.
  21. Well, they do give the Feds that right when they took govt money
  22. The engine doesn't change where stoich is... That's a pure function of the fuel being burned... So If you're running e10, then sure 14.1 makes sense... If regular unleaded it is the 14.7 it has always been, varying based on what the fuel actually is... So not sure whyTF you are including that with your input/opinion on the platform?
  23. Great, an article to let you justify to yourself why you're stupid, to keep you from accepting you're just stupid.
  24. Btw, I got the baby without having unlocked the black hole...
