  1. I did NOT swap in ls3 length and have problems. I sold my ls1 length, because i want the lower height injectors, I have not purchased any replacements yet. The price difference between resized LS3s, FAST, and Siemens is $20.... so thats not a driving factor. I agree Kyle that i had zero tuning "issues" with the Siemens 60s, but I will say they do not hold a constant steady AFR at idle/cruise, which can be contributed to not being characterized....
  2. so is your inability to spell at an elementary school level.
  3. Okay lsx gurus... I am swapping out my injectors for some ls3 length injectors... first thought is to get some SD 60lb'ers to replace the ls1 length SD 60s I took out. These would be direct replacement nothing new. They seemed to work fine, but idle and cruise AFR was hard to get to stay steady, did bounce a bit within a few tenths. 2nd thought is LS3/7 stock injectors, but at 42lbs (@3bar), I am not sure it will be enough for my 416 (expecting 550whp range), I really dont want to go above 90% duty cycle 3rd option is LS9 injectors which are 52lb, but the spray pattern is off and could hit the runner/wall, since the manifold sits at a different angle, though i have heard people have used these w/o issue. 4th option is FAST injectors.... though unfamiliar with these and how they perform, but can get 50 lb @4bar or 65lb @4bar... Anyone have input/experience to share?
  4. yea but is it a street car? pump gas is more of a challenge so its more respectable.
  5. Never said they did, I was trying to keep you from spreading false info And giving some credit to how I know such.
  6. I couldnt watch much... too heap-o-shit built, doing shit work and calling it art.... but yea, I am sure it fun to drive. -JuicedH22 CEO, JuicedH22 Motorsports
  7. Cincinnati BMW made the list at 7min, LOL
  8. A slightly more accurate description of the incident was released today by GM...
  9. You're right... and they are not suppose to....
  10. You shouldnt believe everything you read, or everything a rep says. :gabe:
  11. They arent out to 'try' and get people to see them. They no longer have to 'hide' them since the car was released. That is how vehicles are tested, they are driven around, mostly in more remote areas... in different environmental conditions to make sure all sensors/algorithms work properly, and make adjustments as needed....
  12. The more and more and more, I look at this car, the more I love it. I hated the taillights when I first saw the 'leaked' CAD images, etc... and i am now even starting to like those.... I also was iffy on the rear 1/4 glass, and now even like that.... Question is, buy one, or wait a couple more years and see if i can snag a c7z... lol
  13. I was talking to my buddy about this. Was a GM employee doing some road testing. Car is a test mule, not a production vehicle.
  14. That looks like a base 996 carrera C2.... which you do not want to own... it would probably get waxed by a stock BRZ... even in a drag race...
  15. maybe they thought they could trick someone into thinking it was the same as the twin turbo model? lol
  16. oops, forgot to mention, these are SOLD.
  17. Name: David Location: Cincinnati, OH Contact: mosterda@gmail.com (PM for cell phone) Selling the parts from my stock LS3 engine (going stroker). One of the pistons cracked at the ring land (which started off this whole build process). All 8 rods are in excellent condition, the other 7 pistons are also in great condition (pistons have 0.040" flycut valve relief on the intake side.) Crankshaft is in perfect condition as well. I had BES press on a 24x reluctor wheel last year. I also still have the old 58x reluctor wheel. All parts have less than 9k life on them. Crankshaft $250 OBO http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/2E976DAE-FB56-43FB-AA78-14E4A5CA4801-2415-00000341BE233DEC.jpg Rods & Pistons (full set as shown) $175 If you want the rods by themselves, it will be $125 for the set, and I will sell the pistons at $25 a piece. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/BA6931A7-3A1A-4F64-B6A3-109322B43610-2415-00000341AA727D08.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/753C6825-A2A5-46EE-AFCD-D5EEEFBEC79C-2415-000003417EBC05EB.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/5D928F82-6445-4908-8658-32717B6FE816-2415-00000341A25F0309.jpg
  18. Name: David Location: Cincinnati, OH email/paypal: mosterda@gmail.com Price: $500 OBO to CR-bros Selling my twin disk clutch + steel flywheel (not shown, as it is at the machine shop with the engine). It has been a great clutch, but I am planning for more power this year so want to upgrade. It was used for less than 9k miles, most all just highway to work and home, with less than a dozen trips down the drag strip. No slips, clunks, anything. Worked great up until the day I pulled the engine out. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/4B7CB163-0C1D-48DD-891B-A88BE25D292D-7823-0000099B2174131A_zpsbd87e5b4.jpg

  20. Thank god you reminded everyone of that. Are you still considering swapping out your trans/rear-end for a TR6060 set up? If so, what do you want for yours and can you provide details on it (Gear ratio, rear gear)?
