What great insight into education qualities they offer. hehe (jfwy) I will completely argue to say sports programs overall are not consistently at a major level... You CAN say that the FOOTBALL program does not have much HISTORY at a major level... but once they dedicated the program, it has been VERY competitive for nearly the last decade. Basketball, I wholeheartedly disagree. UC has a VERY proud basketball program and history. They have gone to the NCAA tournament 26 times, 16 of the last 20 years, 13 times making at least the sweet 16 and 2 national championships. To bring that relative to OSU, OSU has 2 more tourney appearances at 28, 1 more sweet 16 at 14, and one NC.

I didnt hear that, but thats not to say it didnt happen, if they were "too" aggressive in their approach... I know it sounds silly, but I think one of the things holding UC back is the football stadium... big conferences dont want to deal with football stadiums that only offer 35k seats, its too tiny... UC likes to rest on it being "historic"... and/or they can be like Pitt and just play at Paul Brown.... It is also one of the big things that Brian Kelly battled the university over, and I am sure was on his mind when he said "eff you guys, Im out of here" when UC waffled on stadium expansion.

I can see that, depending on your style of automobile, but think of the industry as a whole and you will see otherwise... f-bodies are hugely popular and successful to the drag racing crowd the cavalier was a HUGELY successful car in capturing the domestic compact car buyer. Suburban, revolutionized the large SUV. And lets not forget the iconic luxury suv, the Escalade Blazer/trailblazer, widely popular small SUV and thats just off the top of my head... Oh, what about the muscle era of hte 70s, such as the Malibu!
