  1. Haven't had a chance to pull all of my tubs out and look at my cars yet. Sorry about the delay. I'll let you guys know what I've got as soon as I get a chance.
  2. 86 Firebird 305 (wish I still had) 87 Subaru GL Wagon 80 Caprice 305 95 Contour SE V6(still have) 91 S10 4.3 liter 90 Civic hatch 72 Lemans Luxury 96 C1500 worktruck 4.3 liter 93 Sedan DeVille (still have but trying to sell)
  3. Really hadn't thought about it. I have a few cars that are more collectible than others, a couple mis-packaged ones, some limited runs, etc... Let me know if you want to have a look, I'll pull them all out. I'd like to get $200 for the collection, but at this point, I'm considering offers. You really have to see the collection.
  4. Thanks everyone! Washer was picked up last night.
  5. I have a pretty extensive collection of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars that are still in their original blister packs that I haven't done anything with for a couple of years. Some of them are or at least will be collectible in the future. I haven't looked into the actual value of my collection, but I have well over 120 cars. Anyone have any interest in buying the collection? I want to get rid of them before my 5 year old figures out that Daddy has a bunch of "brand new" cars that he doesn't play with.
  6. Bump for edited post. Looked it up on kbb.com. Rated in Fair condition due to clear coat, cracked windshield, and missing center caps.

  8. http://www.columbusracing.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=24;t=001442 It's kinda big, but it gets decent gas milage, and has been stone cold reliable for the most part. Plus, it's kinda nice to drive your living room sofa around. tongue.gif Make me an offer.

  10. I currently have a 95 SE V6 ATX that my wife drives, and it really has been a great car. The one on Sinclair is a 99 SE V6 MTX. If I get another 'tour, that is exactly what I want. I think list is like $4495 on it though. I don't want to spend that much. Quite frankly, I'd be very happy to buy a pre-98 with 100k+ miles for under $2k if it has all of the stuff I want. Otherwise, I'll just try to find a truck or something in the same price range. Of course that is all contingent on someone taking my Caddy off my hands.
  11. Bush was at the Aladdin Shrine Temple today. I believe he came straight up Stelzer from the airport, but that is a big reason for so much police presence over on that side of town today.
  12. Does that include the Germain Wholesale lot on Sinclair? They've got a 99 Contour that I'm kind of interested in.
  13. When you timed it, did you unplug the electrical connection to the distributor? You have to unplug it, then check the timing with the light. If you didn't, it'll look right, but it isn't. I did that once on my Firebird.
  14. Sounds great! I talked to Marvin last night, I guess you guys will be coming over sometime this evening then.
  15. Okay, most of you have already seen my car posted for sale from a while ago, but I've recently fell on some tough times financially, and it needs to go. It is a 93 Cadillac Sedan Deville, 4.9 liter pushrod engine, FWD. The color is Black Cherry (maroon) over silver two tone with Garnet Red leather interior. It is a combination that goes together really well. The good: New gaskets in the top end from head gaskets up. Runs great, and drives real nice. All the electronic stuff on the dash lights up and works properly. FWD with a v8 over the wheels = excellent winter driving manners. New starter, idle air control motor, ignition lock cylinder (replaced due to cadillac technician misdiagnosis of bad wiring for resistor key), newer front tires with about 80-90% tread life left. All receipts for everything I've done since purchase. Sustained highway driving can return in excess of 21 mpg, I've seen 26 once before. A/C works, but needs recharged. The bad: Vehicle has been repainted once before, and the clear coat has started to lift in a couple of spots. Windshield is cracked. Has a slight vibration at 55-70 mph, I think one of the rear tires has a broken belt. The exhaust has a rattle at idle when it's cold. I think it is just a loose heat shield, but I haven't really had the time or desire to try to find out where it's coming from. Someone must be looking for a good, solid, second car to save their pride and joy from racking up unnecessary miles from the daily grind. I live in Gahanna, and work in Worthington, so PM me your # if you want to set something up to have a look. Forgot to mention, no rust! Books out somewhere between $2300 and $2700. Asking $2000/obo/trade for running, not rusty, 3rd gen F-body. [ 13. August 2004, 11:03 AM: Message edited by: CR Caddy ]

  17. Cinergy, will you be able to pick this thing up by this weekend? I need to get it out of my garage so I can get my car back in.
  18. Yeah, a ratchet will work, but the additional leverage offered by a dedicated tool makes it a lot easier. I've used both, and found that having the right tool for the job just makes it easier. On a side note, the hole in the tensioner pully was designed for a drive to fit in. A serpentine belt tool is just a long piece of flat iron with a 3/8" drive on the end and an adapter for a 1/2" drive.
