I believe that is a Olds Quad 4 engine I saw that engine and plane at the 2003 Dayton airshow and only snapped a quick pic of it because I was distracted by everything else going on. Only after getting home and getting my film processed (remember those days) did I realize I should have stopped and asked some questions about that beast. From what I remember it was sort of a pulse jet design hence the long exhaust tubes.

Up until the most recent cowling designs they pretty much did that any way and I think between props on reciprocating engines and turbo props we've proven that a blade coming through the fuselage is not much of a concern. Not that it doesnt happen but the chances are pretty slim.

And the second design with the electric motors would require some pretty big improvements in the weight of the batteries before the airlines would be interested.

I'd be interested to learn why the exposed fan blades would be any more efficient than a modern turbo-fan engine. They operate in the same way but everything is inside the fan cowl.

Thats what I dont get, how did THEY (whoever they is) know someone had a gun if the very person carrying it did not know. It's not like the school discovered it on his person as he was coming in. He was already in the school then all of the sudden someone discovered that someone in the school had a gun, I'm very confused.

So wait he didnt remember that he had a gun on his person but they knew that someone in the school had a gun? I dont understand, how did they know to look for someone with a gun if the gunman himself did not know that the gun was there? Bump for the weekend

The side by side toilets remind me of a rest stop that I stopped at in Michigan. The walls between the shitters were only about 3 foot tall so if you were taking a dump you could talk with the guy next to you. lol

Figured since I sold the Kimber I would give this thing a thread of it's own. Smith & Wesson M&P pro series 9mm. It's a full size M&P and other than the night sights and the words "PRO Series" etched in the side I'm not really sure what all the pro series consists of. Well since my neither my step daughters father or my wife or my step daughter bothered to make a system recovery disk it looks like I'm screwed or I should say she is screwed. HP will be more than happy to sell me a recovery disk for $30-40 which will not require me to have a product key, thank you come again. This laptop is 4 months old it was a 3 month warranty.
