  1. All the concerns are common sense items. If you have your own business, you should be checking ID with any payment other than cash. I deal face to face and check ID with every piece of paperwork signed - Sales Receipts, Bills of Sale, Checks and Credit Card purchases. Yes I still take checks. Easy to verify identity with drivers license and never had an issue (in 7 years). For shipping transactions I use PayPal only and will ONLY ship to verified/confirmed shipping address. I get a tracking number and purchase insurance with every shipment. Some folks think insurance is the responsibility of the buyer, but it is actually the seller who needs the insurance. (But that is another topic) This device is a great way for a small business to accept credit cards without the expense of a terminal, monthly maintenance fee and high fees for low-volume of transactions.
  2. Thanks. I can't do the itouch and $60... Sounds like you will be better off with a Nano or something like that to work out with. I know the itouch is a bit big for a 'workout' ipod. Good luck with the sale/search.
  3. I've got a gen1 8gb itouch. Screen cover since day 1. Let me know how much cash you would want with it to trade.
  4. I've had one for about a year. Easy to use and you won't get a better rate for taking CC payments. My reader works every time with no issues.
  5. I have several friends who have purchased a 500... They are selling tons of them from what I can see. This one should move as quick.
  6. MAKE SURE the 4-5 grand is your money. If you can't save at least that much cash, you shouldn't be looking to purchase a house. Pay down/off the debt you have. If you can purchase a house - make sure to purchase something you can afford. It is very easy to get into something expensive when you should be in something easy to pay for. Many folks purchase more house than they can actually afford. Being house poor is a situation many people find themselves in due to many factors. If you can buy a house and the payment doesn't phase your bank account - you are doing it right. That 4-5 grand saved is a good safety net (start). Doing it right will allow you to sleep well at night knowing that you've got reserve in the bank to cover any "what if" that comes along. All this is my .02 cents... Many folks will tell you the opposite and you can do whatever you want. My method allows me to have a nice house and whatever else I want without putting stress on the family. Money is not an issue at my house due to making good decisions - everyone should live like this. Good luck to you!
  7. I do it all the time. Easy way to make good money if you purchase it right. And just the opposite if you purchase it wrong...
  8. PMs returned about door glass.
  9. You should sell that in 5 minutes on CL. If anyone here buys it, I've got the glass you need for that window. It is worth every penny of the asking price! PM me if you have trouble selling it and want it gone. (no clue who is selling it - just know these cars)
  10. Do these take AAA batteries or are they the recharge ones? Thanks.
  11. Last chance - Going to the dealership on Tuesday. Bottom price $11,500. Let me know.
  12. It is not that van, but it is still a beast! I need to clear out some vehicles - anyone interested?
  13. It has the 5.7L engine. It is in great shape for the age!! It needs cleaned right now - I just used it a week ago for a race weekend at Mid-Ohio.
  14. 1991 Chevrolet Conversion Van G20 Hightop. This van is in great condition. Just added the tow package last year. Hitch, brake controller and wiring. Added a CD player and has a built in radar detector. Conversion includes VHS player and television. Cooler built into the floor with drain. Safe/lockbox in the floor as well. Rear couch power folding to a bed with extension - plenty of room for camping! I've only put 2800 miles on the van in the last 14 months, so it is time to let it go. Newer parts include fuel pump, tires, radiator and hoses... Van has 187k miles on it but looks like 87k. Tons of service records. Does have a few issues: Power windows work when they want (so I don't use them). A/C needs charged - has a leak, but charge lasted the year. Windshield fluid pump doesn't work. Front brakes feel 'funny' sometimes. Feels like a collapsed brake line - comes with 2 new lines. If you want a van. If you want to tow. If you like old conversion vans - this one could be for you. Asking $1900.00 obo. http://www.downingracing.com/forsale/pictures/van1.jpg http://www.downingracing.com/forsale/pictures/van2.jpg http://www.downingracing.com/forsale/pictures/van3.jpg http://www.downingracing.com/forsale/pictures/van4.jpg
  15. Will post them here as I get them - and I get these from time to time. This one was going to the crusher/scrap yard. Saved it from that fate and now it is off with a new owner.
  16. Expecting payment in 30 minutes... Will post (Sold) if sale is completed.
  17. It is a great DD/Beater. One owner. Tons of miles and UGLY. Runs and drives great. Many new parts and it is a CRX Si 5 speed. If you're looking for a winter car, this could be the car for you. Been sitting for a few months, but starts right up and is ready to go. CR Price is $750.00 This thing is ugly, but is ready to go! Title in hand and ready for transfer (notary done). 18. Quick clip (2) from the Sunday morning race on Grand-Am weekend at Mid-Ohio. Tons of video and these are just 2 quick clips. More to come when I have time. Will be back at Mid-Ohio this weekend for double regional (SCCA). Can't check the link from work... Hope it works.
  19. Still have the one set without locks. Could be easily modified to 'lock' with a wing-nut or find a lock set for one of these. Selling this one for $40.00. Will be for sale thru next Monday. Then I'll be 'parting it out' and keeping the parts as spares for the one I still have.
