  1. Is there a simple way to tell if it is an 01.5+ visually? Styling cues different or anything?
  2. NASR did have one, but it was broken more than it was working. And I bet it had less than 200 rds through it. Do the .44 DE and don't worry about reliability.
  3. Not recommended. Gun Hollywood made famous in America. I have witnessed more accidents from that one single gun than any other... mostly because people are stupid. DE .50 = break yourself and breaks itself. Very accurate and it you really feel the need, do it. But have money ready to fix it, that action belongs in a rifle. Want something cool? DE 44Mag. Truly neat to be able to doubtap 44's within 1/2" of each other out of a semi-auto. Want more dick hard? Find a 460xvr in a short barrel and shoot it. Badass and everyone will stop shooting to watch. If you want to make your neighbor shooting next to you flinch, this is the way in a hand gun. I like the 700Gr 500s&w personally. 1/10 or 1" from the end of the cylinder, it is packed in to tightly. And there's a gun that can fire 1,000 + rds with no problems. Personally witnessed it. I also bet I can teach most of your gf's how to shoot it more acurately than you can. I have won plenty of money in the past doing this .... makes a fun first date and stuff, too. Want a magnum research revolver? Go BFR (big f'n revolver) and try shooting 45-90 in it. Handloads, hot of course.
  4. It could go a number of different ways.... I didn't plan it all out, just wanted some input. It would probably work for a team to have several members who either got a car donated or purchased it themselves. I would think any car would work as long as a notarized bill of sale for proof of purchase could be used....
  5. Sounds like immature joy-riders.... If they're carving up the steering wheel and stuff. Just out to damage someone else's property with no reason (that I know of) sounds very immature and random.
  6. What a bunch of asshats. At least you got it back and hopefully it can be in good repair for cheap. I would have problems not wanting to handle it myself, too. It's almost like they wanted you to find them, though... if they left info inside.
  7. Why don't we put something together where there is a budget build (say $3,000 including the price of the car) and see what kind of fun we can stir up? There's plenty of swaps, motors, and ideas that could be put into motion... Thoughts?
  8. I am Team Beater instead of 350Z. Now, the STI might be substituted. I haven't figure out my brakes completely on the SE-R yet. I probably need to take a four seater up there for more people anyway....
  9. Columbusunderground might like to hear about it, too... (In addition to Columbus Alive).
  10. Email, sent. At this point I am up for driving or riding. I have three possible cars for entry. I haven't talked to anyone about joining up or joining my team... Open for discussion.
  11. I'm with the drunk note, here. Not really wanting to look for any trouble... That's my thought. I guess I will enter, anyway.

Sig 556 has had it's issues just like all the others. Right now they're supposed to be on-par with everyone else. The one I owned had a crush washer that was not torqued down properly and that was only part of the fit-finish problems. It went back 2x for the rail issue. After that it was straightened out, but why should a gun have to go back to the manufacturer 3x to be right? It group just as well as any good match barreled AR at the same distances. I was happy with that, but since I felt it wasn't right to begin with I had to part ways. I was pretty disgusted because I was the first person with money down on the 556 in the Mid West. I have shot a few since and saw zero quality or performance issues out of them. You really have to determine what YOU want and see what fits your needs. I would recommend reading Boston's Gun Bible if you want to refresh yourself with "battle rifles". Even with all the information on the net, you would be hard to find such good, concise information all in one place.
  13. Glad to hear, Dave. I meant to ask you the last time I talked to you for an update. Hopefully it is serviceable enough for your liking!
  14. Yes, next week he will be gone. I talked with him today.

And people always take anything HK as the best there is, when in fact it is not. HK jumped on the bandwagon that everyone else did and has seen almost as many issues as LWRC did early on. Everyone has a competitive piece right now in this market, but in my opinion LMT is still the best you can get. The other end of the problem is good luck getting an HK fixed unless you claim it's a duty weapon. HK is horrid with customer service and I can spout examples for hours on end. However, if they think it is LE related, they will bend over backwards. I always tell people to consider what replacement parts will run when you are considering something unique. Also, how easily can you replace it under fire? Remember One is None, Two is One and so forth... Things are being engineered better and better day by day, but in the end if this damn thing breaks it is absolutely useless.
  16. The ZB guy is fantastic! I had him do my rear main seal on my outback. Super cheap and great work!
  17. I hear you. I worked in my auction warehouse yesterday and today. No A/C or fans. Yesterday I was sweating so badly that I felt like I got in the shower for a couple of mins without drying off. My weather channel heat index issued a warning around 98 degrees yesterday. Tin roof with no breeze sucks!! Today wasn't nearly as bad.
  18. I can't be happier with the service and abilities of the crew there. I have had a heck of a time with brake parts for Frankenfuker and they have done everything they could-- and beyond-- to help me get it right!! Anyone who needs anything car-related should check them out if they haven't already. Thanks again, guys!!
  19. Got a flat bed to tow the Outback from the Easton area to Hilliard for a GREAT price. If you guys need towed, I would give him a call. Super fast service, too!!
  20. Actually, hahaha they did and probably still do. I couldn't imagine how easy that basic is.
  21. You never responded to my email? Are you interested in that LMT?
  22. I need the front caliper bracket for a 91 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Sheared a bolt off on one side and the other side stripped out. I thought I would post up here and see if anyone could help me out. I tried searching a bit online, but to no avail.
