I agree that it could have been anyone. Police are always held to a higher standard, so I could see where that would be harder to take. Years ago I had a fiance leave me. I was pissed at the time, but looking back it was the best thing that could have happened. I found many other opportunities and much more pleasure elsewhere. My case didn't last seven years, so I can only imagine how pissed you are. My vote is to get a hold of his wife and tell her straight up. Chances are the two of them will see each other again and the wife will be super suspicious. Also, his co-workers and/or higher-ups would be interested in this information...

I have traded more than probably anyone else on this board. I have run into a lot of fools, but no one mis-represented their car. That is shitty and would have required money or a swift kick in the nuts. I did have one no-show, but other than that I have been golden. I have always asked people to bring extra cash in case the deal requires it, though. People's ideas of condition can be subjective and that does suck. I am sorry to hear he wasted your time.

Might clean it up super good using cleaning and polishing compounds, cleaning it again and then clear coating it. I did this on my first vehicle that was white and dulling after 180K miles. Worked out well for me. I spend a LOT of time on it, though. I am by no means a detailer and I am sure that isn't the recommended route, but it did work for me.

Wow! That's super nice. If I didn't hate Verizon's service so very much, I would definitely go for it at that price! It's a little older os for Android but it should work well for most users.
