  1. KRISPY KREME CAM, PILSBURY INTAKE, CINNAMON ROLL WET KIT, YOU KNOW, THE USUAL
  2. Using the term "real champion" in any system other than a playoff is oxymoronic.
  3. Seriously, Jesse, I think I'd be inclined to go with the Civic (sans your soul, I realize). Like you said, you can get them for way below what they normally cost, and they compliment the premium you place on longevity and cost of ownership over an extended period of time.
  4. I was think Gallardo - AWD and enough room for some ski boots.
  5. I hate the iPad touch screen as well, but don't hate my iPhone's. Like you, I was completely wedded to a physical keyboard. After about a day, I got adjusted to the touch screen on the iPhone and now actually like it better than a physical keyboard. I'm not sure how much you're against a touch screen, but I figured I'd at least share my experiences. I think you'd be able to adjust easily - it just takes about a day.
  6. I said relatively, and then I reiterated that $1500 is $1500.
  7. They said they would sell me a loaded 2012 MDX for $1500 over invoice. Earlier in the thread Josh said in Houston he could get one for $500 over invoice. I realize on a $50k+ vehicle $1500 is not a ton relatively speaking but still - $1500 is $1500. Thoughts? Also, thanks Alex for chiming in - your insight is always appreciated.
  8. Where did you get the figures on what they cost invoice? I'm in the process of negotiating with Lindsay Acura and want to know who to quote.
  9. For the sake of thoroughness, I probably should have broken down the Internet one into modem/56k Internet and then high-speed/DSL Internet.
  10. I've often wondered the same thing about trucks. So many times I see huge trucks with absolutely zero things in the beds of them. I'd like to see the figures on the percentage of the time truck owners actually have shit in the beds of their trucks. I'd bet at least a small amount of money the percentage is surprisingly low.
  11. WTF, is that real life? Holy fuck kids are spoiled.
  12. S5 Agreed with everything you've just said. An optional third row of seats was one of the necessities for the SUV. The MDX provides that. First there were porno mags. And that shit was awesome. Then there was VHS - holy fuck, you mean I can actually watch a movie of porn? Then there were DVDs - holy fuck, you mean I can just fast forward at light speed through the scenes with the ugly chicks? Then came the Internet. And our wrists have yet to recover. Then came smart phones and tablets. Holy fuck, this is like having a mini-laptop in my bathroom - PURE GENIUS.
  13. I was raised with a VHS player, so there was a lot of rewinding and adjusting tracking in my childhood. Yeah, at this point, it would have to be an incredible deal on something like a TL to make me go with it as my DD. I think I've pretty much made up my mind as to what I'm going with in that department. I will likely just resolve the SUV situation for Ashley first though.
  14. Posting this for Nitrousbird: "Hey everyone, Merry Christmas! Listen, before I get back to telling you how much rotaries suck and the LS1 is the greatest gift Baby Jesus ever bestowed on humankind, I wanted to let you know what the wife got me for Christmas this year: - a George Foreman grill - a 72" Vizio LCD HDTV - a jetpack - a 2011 Corvette ZR1 (*she got a great deal on it) - the Starship Enterprise - a Bengal tiger - the St. Louis Rams football team - and the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago So, what all did you guys get? Just wondering. K will catch up with you guys later."
  15. This guy gets it. And the wife and I have already decided that DVD in the back is absolute necessity.
  16. No, I didn't drive it. I was considering the TL for me as a daily driver. I offered to buy both the MDX and the TL together as a "package deal." Have you driven one? In all likelihood, I will not buy a TL, but I might still test drive one anyway.
  17. Kelly's Market is on Parsons. http://columbus.citysearch.com/profile/7856866/columbus_oh/kelly_s_market.html#profileTab-maps I don't know if they're open or not tomorrow. And I don't know of any places off hand on the South End that will be open - sorry. Good luck.
  18. Looks like a Supra to me. One that doesn't look too streetable, but a Supra nonetheless.
  19. This is like Jones asking about Audi's.
  20. No to the van. Yes to flexing. No to flexing with EcoBoost.
  21. Joke's on you. Everyone knows my offspring are immune to conventional harm. It's the result of their DNA being infused with healthy dose of hair gel, bronzer, awesomeness, and metrosexuality. Mix those things together and you've got a recipe for both evolutionary success and a great dubstep party. It's science, and there's no debating science.
