  1. I was pulling for Texas for several reasons: 1. There's never a bad time for Notre Dame to lose. 2. As an Ohio State fan, I want Notre Dame to have as many losses as possible. An undefeated Notre Dame is a lock for the playoff, and thus would take away a slot. 3. As an Ohio State fan, I want Strong to turn it around at Texas just enough to take him off the hot seat so that the Texas job doesn't become available and, hence, Herman doesn't take it. Rather, I'd like for Herman to hang out at Houston for a couple more years and wait for Meyer to retire here and then return to be the head coach at Ohio State. Some other takeaways: 1. Baylor can die in a car fire. I didn't like them before, now I just despise them. They are trying to play this "us against the world" mentality. Yes, because rapists should all band together and fight against the oppression. The struggle is real. 2. Penn State fans are delusional. It's embarrassing how blind they are to the whole Joe Pa shit. I lost what little respect I had for that program a long time ago. 3. Alabama looks scary good on defense. It's amazing what they have going on there right now. 4. It was great to see USC get their asses handed to them. Though, had that game been played in, say, 2003, I bet it's USC that handed out the curbstomping. Alabama was down and out then, just kind of like USC is now. 5. All the upsets in the opening weekend are great, but also just more evidence that preseason rankings are stupid. 6. I love how Ohio State played. What's not to love, right? I'll pump my brakes before declaring JT the Heisman winner and Ohio State a lock for the playoff. However, it's a pretty good start to both. It's clear we have a shit ton of talent and how those recruiting classes are paying dividends. I'm excited to see this team play. 7. The two QB crap last year fucked us up, I think. Psychologically, it has to just really mess with both QBs, which, in turn, affects their play negatively. Think about what would have happened had this been last year: JT throws that pick and would have got yanked with the quickness. This year, though, he's clearly the starter, so it's not like he has to worry about looking over his shoulder, etc. So, he goes back out and proceeds to throw 6 TD passes, runs for another, and sets a couple of records in the process. I don't think that happens last year. 8. I think last year's team was complacent, played tight, and had one foot out the door on the way to the next level. Hopefully, the youth on this team will translate into hunger and a desire to dominate.
  2. I'm crying laughing at the 3:52 mark where she goes from the chicken into some kind of rabbit into a roll into the grass. LOL what the hell
  3. at both the John Cena security guard tackle and Macarena
  4. Remember when Brady Hoke won 10 games his first year and everyone anointed Michigan national champs? Harbaugh is weird. And he comes across as incredibly unlikable in interviews. I remember when he acted like a dick when he was interviewed about him going for 2 against USC when he was at Stanford and they were up a bunch. Then he was a complete tool when being interviewed by Colin Cowherd about a year or two ago. I saw him at B10 media day and, even when he's trying to be cool, he comes across like a douche.
  5. Potato camera pic Too smiley Eyebrows too long 2/10
  6. I'd prefer Ohio State be told they are overrated and they don't belong in playoff discussion, as Ohio State tends to perform very well historically in an underdog role, and particularly well in such a role in the Urban era. Last year, all Ohio State heard preseason was how they were the second coming of the '95 Nebraska team. I think the pressure and expectations weighed on them. I also have a hunch (read: I'm just wondering aloud) that sometimes really good college players that know they are out the door and have really big paychecks waiting on them in the NFL will kind of go on autopilot and, as a result, not be as effective as they would be ordinarily. I think that's why, sometimes, you see teams stockpiled with NFL draft picks (like Ohio State last year) under-perform. Think Miami's team in 2002 versus the team in 2001; in 2001, they could have beaten the Browns, but in 2002 they essentially slept-walk through the season, including that BCS title game with Ohio State. I'm an Ohio State homer, but I'll be the first to tell you that Miami team was playing at about 65 percent capacity that night.
  7. Alabama underrated. Should be #3 in NFC.
  8. Ohio State shouldn't be #5. Then again, preseason polls shouldn't exist. So fuck it, I'll take it. Committee isn't supposed to care about the polls, but we all know they do.
  9. Um, Ohio State doesn't have a question mark at QB. And they had a huge question mark at QB for a large portion of last season (which I think was a big problem). Edit: just re-read, and saw that you said almost every team. So, I've already made a mistake, and it's just the first page. Feels great. I think LSU does well this year and wins the SEC.
  10. I think way too many people are sleeping on Ohio State. Similarly, I think way too many people are drinking the Harbaugh/Michigan koolaid. Ohio State underperformed last year, big time. I think a lot of it had to do with the way the QB situation was mishandled. It was a classic case of "if you have 2 QBs then you have none." Ohio State played super tight all year long, never really loosened up until after the Michigan State debacle, and by then it was too late. I think Ohio State plays a whole lot more loose, aggressive, and lethal this year because they don't have expectations weighing them down and smothering them. I can easily see them winning the B10 and in the playoff.
  11. It totally is. I was telling my father-in-law how the drive out there shouldn't ever bother a car guy: on the way out there, you're excited because you're driving to pick up a car you want, and the way back you are getting to drive the car you just bought.
  12. Jordan and JET Auto did it again and made me a very happy customer. This time around I got a 2015 Escalade and a 2014 BMW 3 Series. Of course, Jordan came through like a champ, got me exactly what I wanted, and got it for me at a very competitive price. There's a reason why I won't buy anywhere else, and it's spelled Jordan. Thanks, Jordan, for being awesome.
  13. I deleted the PM without even opening it. JK I read it then deleted it.
  14. Patio set is sold. Please feel free to lock this up. Also please feel free to compliment by biceps.
  15. The couch has been sold. Mods/admins, please feel free to lock this thread.
  16. No, I am pretty sure it will not fit in that.
  17. Wasn't considering selling those. Make an offer so that I can laugh hysterically and call you a poor. JK I won't laugh.
  18. No idea. I bought it from the Acura dealer. I told them I needed a luggage carrier for my MDX. I think it would fit on anything that has a luggage rack on the top of it, actually. If you buy it and it doesn't fit, then I'll buy it back for $50. But you have to promise to hide a nude somewhere in it.
  19. What's that, you want to be the envy of your neighborhood? Forego the Gallardo and purchase this fantastic patio set instead. I bought this in or around 2010. Brand new I think the entire set cost over $1000. Maybe even more than that, I don't really remember. Here's what I do know: all of it is in good shape. It comes with the following things: - a table (that is about six feet long, I think) - a big ass umbrella that goes in the middle of the table - the big ass umbrella stand thing - 8 chairs - a couch - an ottoman - a side table that has a glass top Here are the only downsides: - the legs aren't attached to the table, and I have misplaced the screws or whatever that attach the legs to the table. Of course, if I find them I will be glad to give them to you. - the table looks a bit faded, like almost kind of chalky, which annoys me. Maybe you don't care. I never took the time to try to "restore" the shine of the table; it might be an easy fix. - the couch doesn't have cushions. They got gross being out in the weather so I pitched them. I am asking $200 for the entire set. I don't really want to split anything up. Pick up in Plain City. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186/tilley614/IMG_1898_zpsyjo3o2kk.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186/tilley614/IMG_1899_zpsih7gp3i8.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186/tilley614/IMG_1900_zpsg1osrpef.jpg
  20. I love this sleeper sofa. I bought it in or around 2006. It still looks really good. I am pretty sure it doesn't have any major problems, like no rips or blood stains. It weighs about 1400 pounds, which means it's quality. Seriously, it's heavy, so bring a friend to help you load it into your truck. Or I can help you because I have really impressive triceps. But you will need to bring $100. Pick up in Plain City. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186/tilley614/IMG_1901_zpsdkicjrib.jpg
  21. I used this one time in or around 2012. It's been sitting in my garage ever since. No problems with it; we just didn't take another road trip in which we needed it. It locks, and I have the key that goes with it. It also comes with the parts that attach it to the luggage rack. So, basically, it comes with everything. You can fit a couple of medium sized suitcases in it or at least 2 medium-sized dead hookers, but probably not all of those things all at once. $50 OBO. Pick up in Plain City. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186/tilley614/IMG_1902_zpsnkpvv07j.jpg
