  1. Yeah, like (DJ and) I said, if Bama wins out, then they deserve a lofty ranking. Regarding that 9-6 game: If B10 teams have that score: OMG LOOK AT ALL THOSE SLOW STUPID IDIOTS THEY CANT SCORE GROSS GO BACK TO THE MAC But then it's 2 SEC powers: OMFG LOOK AT THOSE TENACIOUS DEFENSES WHAT SKILL AND POWER AND SPEED THEY POSSESS
  2. Speaking of "quality wins," where are Alabama's? A three-lost WVU team? Oh, wait, LSU in 2011 and Texas in 2009 or whatever. OK GOT IT NEVERMIND
  3. Whoa, wtf - seriously? That's about an idiotic thing to do. Especially when Dantonio made a big deal about Michigan planting the stake in the field pre-game; what goes around comes around.
  4. The awesomeness of my facial hair is second to only the awesomeness of hair on top of my head. I grow a beard just to let all the other males in my neighborhood know I could end them and take their wives in less than a week's time. It's a sign of vitality and alphaness.
  5. LOL some of those thug life ones are great. "I don't know, maybe it's called fuck you."
  6. The SEC is a better conference than the NFC. In fact, they're even better than the English Premier League and they don't even play that sport.
  7. Yeah, video was cool, song is lame.
  8. Fuuuuck, that's a crazy stat about Stoops. As for home losses for Tressel at Ohio State, these come to mind: USC in 2009 Illinois in 2007 Wisconsin a couple of times - maybe even three?
  9. How many home losses did Tressel have at Ohio State?
  10. Yeah, I knew Oklahoma had a great home record, but - Christ - only losing 3 times since 1999? Is that for real?
  11. Oklahoma? Where the hell did they come into the conversation? I thought we were comparing beating LSU to beating Utah? But, now that we're talking about Oklahoma, you think beating Oklahoma at home would be "far more" impressive than beating LSU at home? I'd say it would be about the same in terms of impressiveness - I wouldn't call one "far more" impressive than the other. You would?
  12. Beating LSU in their stadium at any time in the past decade is impressive. They don't lose there often. In fact, under Miles (which has been since 2005, I think), they have only lost like 4 times at home. So, yeah, Bama beating LSU at LSU would be, in my opinion, a whole lot more impressive that Oregon beating Utah. I have to side with ESPN and the resident Bammer on this one.
  13. This is where I secretly love teams like USC and Miami of the 1980s/early 2000s - they manhandled all kinds of top ranked teams. Ohio State has been historically fantastic at beating teams they should beat and underperforming against teams that are equally as good as them, IMHO.
  14. What did I tell you a few weeks ago when LSU was left for dead in a bayou? They have plenty of time to vault themselves back into the playoff discussion. Watch, they'll beat Bama and all of sudden be sitting at like 7 in the polls. #SECspeeeeeeeeeed
  15. LOL, I love this car. I do a ton of driving and I am constantly in downtown parking garages. The Fusion is great because it gets decent gas mileage and I don't freak out when I come out to the parking garage and see that it has four new door dings. I couldn't say the same about the S5, which turned out to be a horrible daily driver for me.
  16. WTF is up with Arizona State moving up 5 spots after beating Utah? Also, it makes a lot of sense how Alabama improves by a spot after a bye yet Michigan State doesn't... This is all looking like what I predicted/feared, which is that there really will not be that much movement from week-to-week because the committee is now psychologically wedded to its choices.
  17. Called Ford, verified that I qualify for the "customer satisfaction program" or whatever they call it (which is a fancy way of avoiding saying "recall," I think). Any suggestions on what Ford dealer to take it to?
  18. Yup, that sounds like the letter I received. All of this is making a lot of sense, now.
  19. Thanks for the replies, guys. I called Tuffy to see if they still had the codes saved from when they checked it out before, but they didn't. The Tuffy tech said that it sounded like a throttle bottle issue to him. I just did a quick search, and came across this. The comments from people describe exactly what's going on with my car - and how it's kind of fucked up that car does into limp mode at any time, including in heavy freeway traffic (that makes it kind of dicey to pull over and get out of the way). http://www.fordproblems.com/trends/electronic-throttle-body/ I'm going to call Ford later today when I have my VIN handy and see if I qualify for the recall. I would think that I do. Also, I vaguely remember getting some letter in the mail from Ford about some issue. I saved the paper (I think) and I'll check it when I get home to see if it's the ETB issue.
