  1. Ugh. Hangover. Food poisoning from Domino's half-cooked pizza last night. Lost football game. Miserable morning. I'm shitting and puking all at once. Had to share that. . .
  2. KRE is also quite expensive definitely pontiac specialists...
  3. I find that hard to believe. They must have lost $$$ on that CALENDAR.
  4. yea, you need to contest that ticket that's going to be a rather big thorn in your side if it goes to trial having that picture of the stoplight might help Hell, i'd sit there for a few hours and see if it happens again (and be ready with a video camera or something) DO NOT PAY THE TRAFFIC TICKET. If you look on the back of it, it'll say something like "mailing in payment for this ticket is an admission of guilt" etc
  5. If that's not the worst on the road around here...i want pictures and proof otherwise
  6. There are cars you wouldn't ever catch me driving. There are cars you wouldn't ever catch me sitting in. There are cars you wouldn't ever catch me looking at....or being near There are cars...that I feel bad for others that drive/sit in/look at and then, far far, FAR beneath all of the above...there is this... It's like a fat woman at a bar, who's showing too much skin. You feel bad for her - her friends - the clothes she's wearing - anyone sitting at the tables around her and anyone that happens to look in the 30 degree spectrum that she consumes
  7. Yes. The state of texas should chalk up something I occasionally do work for the Delaware County Prosecutor's office (as a prosecutor) They're more than fair...i think it's a pretty nice system (at the very least, I can't think of a better one either) The prosecutors have a view that figures...they shouldn't cheat or lie or do anything out of the ordinary to convict someone. If a prosecutor 'loses' a case, he's still winning...because an innocent person goes free I imagine it wasn't always this way, but that mindset is spreading and more prevalent than not. It's when politics get involved when it gets ugly (Duke rape case as case in point) - politicians/prosecutors up for election use their position to spotlight themselves and go beyond the limits of the facts
  8. geezus Then again, a good set of aluminum pontiac heads run a minimum of 2000, and can get to 3000 - 4000 range pretty quick Hillard has a stroker 400 of my own....no heads on it yet, though
  9. butler's pretty crazy expensive Hillard Auto Sales just east of Dayton on I-70 just started a full-time engine shop (been doing it part-time for years) They specialize in pontiac engines and they're the fairest, nicest guys I've ever found (the only engine builders i'd trust to hand stuff to without asking how much it'll cost and having it in writing) A buick would be more similar to a pontiac than any of the chebby or ford builders in columbus But I agree - listen to G.G.A and take it to someone that only does buicks. The small differences and bits of knowledge break or make the engine

  11. gouge the eyes FTW I have a hard time believing there'd be much of a fight after that
  12. I think a lot of people forget that humans (me and some others) are 200 pound, very strong mammals. We're large. Long limbs...and we know where to attack (eyes, weak spots) You put a 100 pound 5'4" guy against a huge dog...and it might be ugly Put a 200 - 300 pound big man against a 100 pound dog, and i think the result would be much different. Use your weight. Jab the eyes. I hear a winning strategy is to grab onto the lower jaw if you're bitten (prevents another bite) I'm not saying you wouldn't take damage....It wouldn't be fun. But i'm rather sure i'd kill the dog before it hurt me substantially

I was acting as a special prosecutor in Delaware county - my first case/experience/anything (contact through school at Ohio State allowed me to do that) I haven't yet decided what i want to do - it's completely up in the air Not even sure i want to take the bar in Ohio - I keep telling myself that I should move to a warmer climate Just about to graduate from Ohio state....took a little of everything there, trying to find out what i want to do I like the idea of starting my own office....do bankrupcy/family law/anything small town bullshit, so I don't have a boss and can set my own hours....but I'm not sure it pays well enough and it's a little stressful to run out and do that straight out of law school So, if they want to keep her here: don't say a thing about a potential divorce. Don't move out, stay together. And, good luck - it'll be a battle

...i won my first trial yesterday 1 for 1, i suppose I have a little experience with immigration I'd guess they're fucked for her being able to stay here. Sounds like exactly the case that they'd want to kick out The gov't is ridiculous in researching cases like this. You definitely need to be living together. If you're going to try to fool the government: good luck There's interviews where they go over all this and try to sniff out couples that are married for convenience. Questions like what's your favorite sexual position and 'in what drawer your wife keeps underwear?' will be asked. I know a couple that has been through this...and it's quite a grueling process (they legitimately live together and are married, but are still given a lot of crap)

immigration specific? (probably won't be able to help) issue in the law as relating to immigration? (maybe help) post up questions and they might get answered lawyers typically aren't going to say they're a lawyer and post here - liability and issues
  18. knocked up has much better female viewing opportunities
  19. there's gonna be more browns fans there than bengals fans brown might be safer than orange
  20. i'll agree with the muscle machines: but the ones with a wide lobe separation cam something around 115 (really hipo versions) on a ram air IV pontiac, that separation and a dual exhaust (with NO H-pipe or x-pipe) means you can hear each cylinder individually - it pats back and forth radically It's like a song when you're listening to it from the rear
  21. get the part # off the block and be done with it all ford's are stamped with a huge, very detailed part # (if i remember correctly - i had a mach 1 for a while) that part # will tell you exactly what it is http://www.428cobrajet.org/id-block.html i'm not reading this but you should
  22. That's nice. Make an ad hominem attack in response to your own stupidity...regarding people you don't even know...while asking for their help. Absolutely beautiful. Not only painful, but pitiful as well.
  23. that's some good information But a few things don't add up. You had the heads off, they were bored .060 over? You mean the heads were milled, or the block was bored? and if you had this work done, wouldn't you know if it was a 390 or 428? It'll all eventually come down to exactly what you said about the engine... If you were telling me you had the engine bored, heads rebuilt -etc etc etc, and that it was a 428 - i'd have a good basis to believe you (because you had the engine apart) That was a pretty neat, rare car. Unfortunately...when you get into the realm of anything 'ram air', the collectors are ridiculously picky and particular......but, with good reason (the only reason he bought it was the rarity, i'd guess) Contact ebay and try to get a copy of the ad that was listed - maybe they have it archived?
