  1. Doesn't matter if we can move the ball By the time we get to their 30 yard line, Tressel will start calling 2-yard runs up the middle and try to 'square up' for a beautiful field goal
  2. I'm already tired of Tressel calling run plays by Boeckman, and counter/draw plays that take 5 seconds to develop, before handing off and losing a few yards USC is too quick for this shit
  3. I'll agree with Rch I've gotten much crap from my friends....thinking Tressel is overrated He gets outcoached in close games. He has an amazing team (always does) and barely comes out on top vs average opponents (the big 10) He'll lose most of the big games. And don't tell me Michigan counts as a big game
  4. just get a 12 gauge Can't deer hunt with a rifle in Ohio you can hunt smaller game with a 12 gauge by using smaller shot pellet shells It's almost cheating...with the huge spread on the shells - but whatever (my dad uses a 410 for pheasant hunting so it's more challenging - but hell with that) It'll admittedly barely harm the bird if you hit him. Sometimes a 12 gauge will mess one up so bad it's nearly worthless. And then throw a slug into it for deer hunting Just make sure a dime passes through the end of the shotgun barrel - to make sure it isn't a full choke If it has adjustable chokes - not a matter But some 12 gauges with full chokes won't let a deer slug pass through (too narrow) Otherwise, any 12 gauge will fire a regular slug. It'll be pretty accurate. When you get really good, you'll want a deer slug barrel (little better) And then you can buy a rifled deer slug barrel (shoots rifled deer slugs - even more accurate) But, for the beginner....a remington 1100 or 1187 or mossberg 9200 will do everything you want/need I'd go with an automatic, save up some $$ (semi-auto) When you see a big deer in front of you, you'll forget to pump that sucker. And, having to take your eyes off the target to pump is not fun i've had a dozen or so deer in the last several years

    @ me

Leak? Nylon washer. Done. Now, if you want to brag about a nonstock, 10 sec GN, start a new post

    @ me

I actually used two 86 GN turbos on a GTO for a while Fun, cheap little turbos Also doesn't mean the GTO is the fastest car of the 60's Or...have anything to do with the original post
  7. baron_

    @ me

Not hating. But a 10 second car has nothing to do with a claim about the GN being the fastest american stock car of the 80's Absolutely nothing.

    @ me

What does that have to do with anything? You like talking to yourself?

    @ me

That's one of the weakest things to brag about....I've heard in a long time. The Grand National can have the 80's.
  10. you may get in trouble for razor blades.....but the person suing would also get in trouble Razor blades are probably a safe bet. Do they want to go to jail to have you pay their legal bills? Thousands of dollars in legal bills, while they admit they were thieving in the car? And bring legal action against themselves? I can't imagine a judge would be very sympathetic And, as a former prosecutor, I can't imagine a prosecutor would want to press hard charges against you. If it were me, I'd maybe give you a misdemeanor for it
  11. ...had my car broken into twice in columbus And stolen once (never recovered - the 1966 GTO convertible) Fuckers....I'd be game for some sort of surveilance and ass-kicking. I wish boobytrapping was a possibility, but it isn't. You can't go to extreme measures and hurt a criminal. There are cases...like....when someone has a boobytrapped gun pointing at a window (and crook comes in and gets shot)....where the owner of the house is prosecuted The gun is one thing...razorblades are another. You might be able to get away with slicing someone's hand.... (and i can't imagine him calling the cops)
  12. your goal is 400 horsepower? Nitrous will get you there easiest/cheapest If you want more...and have the spare cash/time/energy...the turbo
  13. yea...most of the full-time mechanics that I know are ridiculously scary...with their own vehicles They tend to think that they know what they can get away with...and what 'will work' rather than be right
  14. greyhound is cheapest but there's absolutely no guarantee on anything can show up damaged, or not at all....could be 'lost' at any time along the way
  15. they pricematch within reason heavy sales (clearances) or stupid prices they won't match

    sunday dispatch

at this point, i'm surprised CR allows a continuing discussion of this crap. It's been rehashed 800 times already Viewpoints have been expressed You're only giving more and more fodder for those that are looking for it Ant would do well to delete it all....not give people a reason to come on these boards searching for fuel

    WTH Rampage!!

yes, i think you should care about what traffic offenses he commits but seriously though...running might not have been a bad idea If noone saw him...and he got away...he could just say his buddy was driving the truck at the time (and pay the friend 10k or whatever) It'd be hard for the cops to prove it was him doing the driving = innocent, probably (although maybe negligent)
  18. ...I didn't read all 16 pages (not that much spare time) But, indeed....if it's in Delware county...... Ouch. That judge/magistrate can be rough. He's wise and very clever/quick...so don't try to bullshit him A good man I've had quite a few dealings with him.... Since i've been up there, i hear there's a second magistrate (a female, i think). Good advice regardless...that your lawyer should tell you... If he asks you questions - don't bullshit. Take responsibility for your actions, try to mitigate them...explain - but don't make excuses or act whiney. Tell him you've learned an important lesson in life - etc. Stand up like a man - dress well. Etc. And I agree with Borracho. This should be moved to the clubhouse.
  19. +1 I think I'd laugh at anyone that tried to convince me of that, after watching that clip. Very obviously cinema, drama...etc. Nothing like what a real fight would be like
  20. macaroni/cheese with tuna is quite amazing.. and i gave my roommate plenty of shit about that until i tried it
  21. +1 Not a hero. More likely, idiots. And idiots acting together, for idiot reasons. I hate people that blindly back up their buddies, even when they're in the wrong (potentially). And i'm glad many of you seem to agree You don't even know why you were there or what was going on? Douche. If my buddy pulls some dumb shit and deserves to have his ass beat - he deserves to have his ass beat. I'm not going to jump in and look for a fight. The shooter should have pegged you in the leg for being a fuck-head.
  22. Close. 4.5" dewalt angle grinder. Something too rusty to remove? Angle grinder and cutoff wheel. Something doesn't quit fit right or need a little clearance? Angle grinder and metal grinding wheel. Something pissing me off and I want to feel like I've accomplished something for the day? Destroy something with the angle grinder. Need a sawzall but don't want to look around in the garage for where i put it? Oh, there's the angle grinder and it already has a cutoff wheel on it. The rest of the tools mentioned are handy, but the angle grinder gets me out of a number of fab situations and headaches. I work on pre 70's cars though, so you need tools that can fight rust
  23. Pay today and you could pick up tomorrow I've got someone coming right now to look... and already offered $100 I just want to make sure someone will definitely get them....not the, "I'll take them" but never show up type of thing...since I don't have time to spare
  24. Moving out - moving to dayton area Nice setup from my family....they replaced None of us are staying close, so noone wants the stuff I don't think any of us have ever fucked on any of it - so no white stains No yellow stains from urine or beer, either (2/3 roommates didn't drink) No smokers....I hate pets, so none of those eithers I think a hippy friend of one of the roommates once set on the loveseat. That still pisses me off, but it's the dirtiest they've been Just an older set and a little worn one foot stool, one 4-foot couch, one 6-foot couch (roughly) I think they're far more comfortable than what we have now - but whatever...i dont' want to haul them around Anyways... $150 or best offer. Must vacate this weekend - i'm around most of the day moving out call or e-mail or pm or whatever 937-269-7753 have pics i'll try to setup later I'm in the campus area And i'll probably be drunk by the time you come to get them, so don't expect terribly much help http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8261/sofa1ie2.th.jpg http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/2246/sofa2oc9.th.jpg http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3008/sofa3hy4.th.jpg
