I've used magnets and have no issues, the previous owner used them on the Laser and there are no marks on the paint, though it is almost 19 year old paint. Good magnets will stay on in any weather as long as you put them on a dry surface, Ray has never lost his at HPDE. You do want to take them off asap so you don't end up with tan lines, but otherwise don't listen to Ed as it IS a Saab thing!!

Yep, it's surprising how much grip tires really have even on a wet surface. I ran an autox on my slicks and had about 80%+ of my grip with just the wet surface until there was standing water on the surface. Rob, was Ray up there today? Been trying to get a hold of him to see if he's up there this weekend as I might go up there tomorrow.

I usually take passengers, especially if it's cold and wet like it will be, can use the added traction!! Racing starts around 9:30am and should go till 3-4pm.

Mike, you probably have learned more with the wet track!! I love rain racing and love it when I get to do it, wish I could have made this event. I'll be there in July!!

Autox is on for this weekend unless there's lightning or ice, so dress warm because as usual if you race you work!!

Looks like good fun. I had a blast last year when I did my first one. They have one more this month at Trails then some others around Ohio and Michigan I believe, I hope to make one of these again if I can find a car to drive as the Laser is asphalt only.

Hell, their parts catalog isn't always right. They never did find the correct upper radiator hose for my Pathfinder, had to make one work for it!! This goes for an parts store except NAPA, never had any issues with them except price.

It comes down to this, they are there and you need to be prepared for a sudden stop, it's called "Assured clear distance ahead(ACDA)", people suck at driving in Ohio and we all know and should be ready for it. Like Wease I have no interest in running a light so it doesn't bother me.

Very sad story. That truck driver is going to jail for a while, several witnesses said he was speeding and failed to stop for the crossing guard. Pick & Pull does not sell wheels, Hub Cap Annie has a good selection but wanted more money for used wheels than new aftermarket. There are several junk yards on McKinley Ave Christian that have used wheels, I picked up the 300zx wheels for my turbo Laser for something like $150 at one of the places. Worthmans should have them as well. I don't know if there are any places up near you though since you live in the sticks!!

Damn, I've only seen 1 of these things and it's still in the showroom and people are already ordering TT kits for them!! Should be a fun project. I like the idea of having a car with 600+ hp(random #) that can haul all your firends!!

It's mentioned several times that the Exodus of the 13 tribes happened about 2000 years ago which lines up with our current dating system. 1 came here to earth, the rest to the colonies. For whatever reason they probably developed differently or whatever but if we don't see them finding earth it will all be up to our imagination. Though I think Mowgli is possibly right in us never seeing them make it to earth it will probably leave off with them either defeating the cylons and continue torwards earth or joining the cylons or something of the like and going on to earth but leaving us hanging there. All I know is I want to see how it ends but I don't want it to end as I've really enjoyed watching this show.

What's really fucked up about all this is you hear these outspoken loudmouth "womens rights activists" talk about how it's unfair how women make less money than men and stuff, yet the moment a couple breaks up the woman gets everything she had, everything the couple had, and usually half of what the man had before the relationship.
