  7. jallen100, Grow up (pun intended). Get the sand out of your vagina. Its the internet, not a personal attack. If you can't be a member of an online forum without flipping the fuck out every time someone talks shit, you shouldn't be on the internet. Internet tough guy acting all bad ass because someone called him.............get this........stupid.
  8. I got my car back on Saturday after getting it done. Car looks great, and I am very pleased with the results. This is a great deal guys, don't hesitate to take advantage of it!!!
  9. In a perfect world, you are right. In our world, you are not. Greed, corruption and party bull shit = No change. Just my opinion.
  10. Special Racing tires, they come with racing stripes. Makes the car handle better. :jerkit:
  11. If it supplements 1/2 of the cost, that is a success. I do not know how much it costs in a pay to play program, but considering these are really "luxuries" I see no reason they need to be provided free of charge. Obviously if it costs $1,000 to play a sport, that is crazy, but if it costs $500, and $250 is paid through fund-raising, I find that acceptable.
  12. I completely understand your point even though it is all opinion and speculation. You are 100% guessing that playing sports/music/art would have made me or anyone else "better" than I/we currently are. The reverse could just as easily be said, and you can apply your view to ANY decision you make. If you choose A instead of B: Well B could have increased your drive, built more character and helped you along your way more than A. Each decision you make has costs, the Cost of choosing A, is B+ some variable. So to say that those that played sports did not miss out on the things that I did and others that did not play school sports is bogus. By being in a school sport you are limited in what other activities, hobbies and general things you can do. This is why I do not agree with your point. Just for the record, I did play sports. I played rec league basketball and baseball for years, and still play basketball. I do agree to a point, however, when is it too much? Will you always vote for school tax increases? What if the district has made bad choice after bad choice, and you see other states with different funding techniques have the same or less money surpass your state in all measurable ways? Will you continue to vote Yes? My point is that the government has 0, zero, NO incentive to change its ways when all of the tax increases are passed. I understand both sides of the argument and do find it to be a very tricky issue. I see no need for anyone to talk like ass holes when discussing these issues. (not saying you were) It can be done calmly even if you disagree. (general statement, not directed at anyone directly)
  13. I wasn't a part of any organized sports, music or art through my high school. I am currently going to OSU for Finance and will be graduating in 6 weeks. Doesn't sound like it is absolutely necessary to me. It wasn't for me to succeed. I will have about 48k in student loans because I am regular White Male whose parents make too much money for any scholarships. It can be done if you really want it. English please. Remember, I didn't play sports in High school, so please explain this statement. Not my concern. Fund-raising is always available for those that want to play bad enough. I can't imagine a schedule split that much, that would suck. Westerville North was split 1-7 periods for Freshman and sophs, 2-8 periods for junior and seniors. Got out at 2:15 and 3:05 I think. Here is a question guys. When will the school systems stop asking for more money? Just because they threaten to drop programs, stop busing etc does that mean that they need more money? Go read the Westerville school thread and get some of the information they have. It talks about all of the misappropriation of school dollars, how they can get more if they did certain things correctly and on time etc. Throwing money at the situation is not the problem, Ohio gets plenty of money for its schools, but it uses it completely backwards.
  14. Schools are for learning. If they have to make sports and music pay to play, thats fine with me. School is for learning. Ohio schools get enough money as it is, more money isn't the answer here. This is no doubt a tough issue.
  15. Yeah, I understand. My workout will not be anything too crazy until I get in the swing of things, and prove to myself that I can go on a regular basis. Then we will work on improving the "quality" of my workout. I need some sort of routine though because I tend to just walk around thinking about what to do next instead of just doing it. My brother has a membership there as well, and we will be working out together. This will help both of us, and it will be easier for me to get back into things because he is a great teacher and will push me. I appreciate all of your help.
  16. Emphasis on Walken. Think about it, you'll get it eventually.
  17. Great, thanks for the help. My brother is going to write a workout for me. He used to be into lifting hard core. I will do some more reading and see how we want to tailor his workout after that. Thanks guys.
  18. I appreciate the help. What I am looking for is a workout for my entire body, that can be spread out over 3 days. I am cool with having multiple workouts to rotate with. Such as workouts 1, 2, and 3 during week 1, then workout 4, 5, and 6 during week 2. Then rotating weeks 1 and 2. Something like that would be great, but I would like to have a routine that is written down so I can just take the sheet with me, and not forget something. I guess that is more of what I want.
  19. I have had good luck with dent solutions on Hamilton road. Not sure if they do mobile though.
  20. The membership comes with a workout consultation that I will be scheduling asap. Other than that, I don't want to spend any more money on the gym. We are paying off debt, and getting the membership in the first place was annoying because I wanted all of our spare money to go towards debt payment. PM'd. Polaris. Looking for a more traditional workout right now. Something that I can do routinely to get me started.
  21. My wife and I recently got memberships to Urban Active and I started working out yesterday. I quickly found out that I have retained very little information about working out from when I was in shape about 4 years ago (Freshman and Sophomore year of college). I would like a total body workout, spread out on 3 days of lifting. I will be doing Cardio 3 days a week as well for a total of 6 days a week. If anybody has a link to a quality workout, or wants to share theirs, I would appreciate it very much. My goal with the lifting is to gain muscle mass, not to tone or maintain. My goal for the cardio is to shed weight. Thanks guys.
  22. What about some factory F-body or Corvette seats? Not sure what kind of price they pull, but it might be an option.
