Yeah, it wasn't planned. Today we will be cleaning the place and taking both to the vet. We got her at petland on bethel rd. Overpriced, but she was just too cute and the wife really wanted her.
Any tips on introducing a new pup to a current dog? Lucy our boxer/ridgeback mix has been great soo far, but her health/happiness is/was the only concern bringing the new puppy into the house. We do not want lucy to change her overall demeanor because of the new dog, however we do realize that some change is in order.
As far as Husky's go, I would look them up through google. You can find rescue sites, as well as breeding info. AKC site: http://www.akc.org/breeds/siberian_husky/index.cfm Siberian Husky Club of America: http://www.shca.org/
I was suprised at how small Husky's actually are. Males top out at 60lbs, with low 30s being the runts. Lots of fur I guess. They are also not good as single dogs, a companion or multiple dogs is suggested. Also, they do not have gaurd dog tendancies.
She is a cute girl, but we forgot how much work a puppy really is!!!!!!
