  1. Holy shit, yeah not too smart without some more protection. Damn though. lol
  2. The only thing that is a concern on the 2.0T is the cam follower. It is known to totally give out. I will be checking mine when the weather breaks. I would much rather have the 2.0T than the 1.8T, but the VR6 is what I would like to have over both............too bad they got rid of it for the MKV GTI's
  3. I live right off of Hayden Run. The Orleans apartments behind the Red Barn. I have driven by the verison building many times. I will be sure to keep an eye out for you.
  4. Sold 95 SE Taurus for 95 SHO which I wrecked Bought 94 SHO which I sold because not reliable to get to school and work Leased new 2006 A4 and turned in at lease end Bought 2006 GTI DSG and sold to my dad Bought 2008 Rabbit 5 speed to lower payments, traded it in because it was boring Bought my 2006 GTI back and will either keep it for a long time or sell it next year for an A4 Avant
  5. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=812 MKIV parts classifieds
  6. Is there a reason the gen 3's are not as popular as a fox body? Looks? mod potential? Can you fit a LSx in it? etc
  7. Not familiar with the roads north of 161, but yeah it was pretty far north. Some curvey parts. (boy I am fantastic with descriptions aren't I?)
  8. I have heard only good things about them. Well besides the shedding, running away, and now aparently the nails thing. But their overall demeanor is supposed to be great. She is mega cute.
  9. Thanks for the tip. It took a few months for our Boxer mix to let us do it. It was pretty bad, but we stuck with it and now she is awesome. She pooped her cage, so I just cleaned her paws, so that is the start. lol. I forgot how cleaning up poop sucked.
  10. Don't forget the Hummer H3T either........you know because that is totally relavent.
  11. Cred, I followed you on riverside drive a few months ago. Either a black Rabbit or Black GTI, can't remember what car I had at that time. Car looked good.
  12. She is rediculously laid back. Our only efforts are trying to let Lucy get used to her. Zoey is a great dog.
  13. Does that come in Hetero?
  14. Looks similar to a SKY if it were mid engined. Should be cool, but small. Not man sized.
  15. It really depends on the turbo. It is very impressive for the factory fueling system and exhaust though. A MKV GTI can not even dream of those numbers without a HPFP and most likely injectors.
  16. Yeah, we are moving in April, and until then we have a football field size dog park in our apartment complex. So far she has been great. peed inside twice, one poop and one pee outside so far! The hair is def a downside lol, but we are able to handle it. I just bought stock in lint rollers.
  17. I have heard great things about them, and the running thing was def one of "downsides/risks/behaviors" My boxer has gotten out about 3 times. 2 were easy, she came back within 2 minutes, but one took my dad, brother and I in 2 cars about 3 hours to get her back. Thought I had lost her. Horrible feeling.
  18. I think I solved that. She tried to poop inside early this morning, so I scooped her up, opened the door with the turtle head poking out.........I am barefoot and snow owns me. I slip, dog goes flying, I break her fall about 1/2 down with my arm trying to catch her, miss, and she thuds to the ground from 3 feet in the air. She lays there for a minute, and runs inside. I felt like such an :asshole:
  19. Dog park in our apartment complex, and a fenced in yard where we are moving in April. Should be good, our other dog Lucy requires lots of exercise as well.
  20. Yeah, it wasn't planned. Today we will be cleaning the place and taking both to the vet. We got her at petland on bethel rd. Overpriced, but she was just too cute and the wife really wanted her. Any tips on introducing a new pup to a current dog? Lucy our boxer/ridgeback mix has been great soo far, but her health/happiness is/was the only concern bringing the new puppy into the house. We do not want lucy to change her overall demeanor because of the new dog, however we do realize that some change is in order. As far as Husky's go, I would look them up through google. You can find rescue sites, as well as breeding info. AKC site: http://www.akc.org/breeds/siberian_husky/index.cfm Siberian Husky Club of America: http://www.shca.org/ I was suprised at how small Husky's actually are. Males top out at 60lbs, with low 30s being the runts. Lots of fur I guess. They are also not good as single dogs, a companion or multiple dogs is suggested. Also, they do not have gaurd dog tendancies. She is a cute girl, but we forgot how much work a puppy really is!!!!!!
  21. We just brought back our second dog. She is a Siberian Husky just over 8 weeks old. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/Zoey001.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/Zoey010.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/zoey2007.jpg So far she has gotten along GREAT with our other dog, Lucy http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/Zoey014.jpg
  22. My brother might be interested. I texted him. He has a red doberman now. He was thinking about another one.
