  1. There is a reason you saw no CTSVs today and you saw 5 Bimmers. Snow CTSV in the snow sucks. Snow tires or not. They are all home parked in the garage right now. Xdrive BMW on the other hand.. Well they go great :gabe:
  2. Great point! I like to think my recommendations or disapprovals should hold some water, as I have driven just about everything. One of the great parts of my job is being able to grab just about every vehicle in existence and spend 2-7 days driving it as my demo. BUT..... That being said, I have come to find that car preference is VERY subjective. Things that I might love about a certain car (ie. Raw "feeling", sporty suspension) might be the same things that make someone else hate it. EDIT: When I re-read what I typed I'm not sure if it came across right. The main point I am trying to get across is this: Some people will give you an opinion based on their idea of a car they have never driven. Some people will give you an opinion based on a car they know inside and out better than anyone. Due to the subjective nature of opinions on a car, take ALL of them with a grain of salt and try one out yourself.
  3. Tilley can attest to the fact that the 5 series seems to drive much smaller than it's actual footprint would make you think. The 550i is quicker in a straight line, although the S4 might feel better around the twisties. The 3 series is a GREAT car. I just personally prefer the 550i ( and I'm only 32 ) I'll save my anti Audi rants for the chatbox. I can most certainly get you one, if that's what you want. They are not a brand I will ever recommend again though, for what that's worth. Yours truly, A former Audi owner
  4. I would suggest a 2012ish BMW 550i Xdrive V8 check, AWD check, class check http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/image.php?u=219772&type=sigpic&dateline=1366586858
  5. Set it up as a loan with full forgiveness as long as a certain criteria is met. ie. Graduating and maintaining a certain GPA. THEN it might do some good.
  6. I grew up with my father who was a sports FANATIC. ESPN might have been the only working channel in our living room for all I know... because I never saw him watch anything else. Stuart Scott definitely made the programs much more "watchable" and enjoyable for someone who wasn't a sports fanatic at the time (me). “When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live.” - Stuart Scott RIP Stuart.
  7. HP = (Torque x RPM) / 5252 Enter your values: Torque: 590 Pound-Foot Speed: 6500 Revolution Per Minute Result: 730 Horsepower Im sure the 654 ft/lbs was earlier in the revs when the home made boost controller wasnt tapering off any  Seems legit to me ?
  8. This is my second transaction with Tilley, both of which being awesome experiences. The first time I was on the purchasing end, when he was kind enough to hook me up with tons of furniture that we used to start the business. This M5 is one of my favorite cars I've ever had the pleasure to sell. For the couple days that we had it at the lot everyone was drooling all over it (which is becoming common place for the CR car deals.. We must all have impeccable taste ) Thank you again for the kind words. Congrats again on the sick ride. And as if it wasn't already known.. You are 100% class act my good man.
  9. Thank you for the kind words, and congrats again on picking up one of the nicest cars I've ever had the pleasure to acquire for someone! Deals like this (helping another car guy get into a car that they love) are what make me love my job. Hopefully I can talk you into bringing this beast out for the Spring track day, so we can really see what she will do.
  10. If I can edit the voice to J.A.R.V.I.S. I'm in.
  11. So much awesome. Your budget builds never cease to amaze me
  12. I must be in the minority.... but Advanced Warfare is the only console online FPS I have ever actually enjoyed for more than 10 minutes. The exo jumping keeps the pace up and really cuts down on camping IMO. Current play list: COD:AW on PS4 Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox1 Dayz on PC
  13. I always wonder how someone is capable of accumulating hundreds of thousands of dollars... yet they are stupid enough to fall for this kind of thing. Tell the husband. If it results in divorce, then so be it. He will thank you later.
  14. Was it in THAT dealer's personal rental fleet, or did they purchase it from someone else? PM me the VIN if you want, and I will take a look.

  19. :fuuuu: That was the first thing I thought when I read the first sentence. I HOPE that is not the case.
  20. Thank you Clay! I really appreciate the referral, and it was good seeing you as always! It really means a lot to me that you would not only entrust me with your family's business, but also make the trip to deal with me.
  21. Balance is the key. Not letting them do something will just make them want to do it more IMO. The parents who ONLY let their kids play sports, or ONLY let their kids help them work on stuff, or ONLY let their kids play video games (because they are too lazy to actually interact with them) are doing their children a serious disservice. There is a time and place for all of it. Being proficient with computers, while still being able to work on your own stuff, while still being able to function socially, and while still being able work in a team setting all together is a very desirable skill set nowadays. Honestly, most of our population SHOULD already possess them(But they don't). I think our largest problem lies in everyone dealing in absolutes, and we can't be accepting to learn the things WITH our children that we don't already know.
  22. DING DING DING Of all the games I have ever seen people play, this one covers the largest demographic. My 7 year old plays it.... and I know 60 year olds who play it.
  23. 100% Agree. I wasn't knocking the guys. I know they are legit racers, and have probably forgot more than I have ever known about street racing. I am saying "Street Outlaws" is a farce. As is the nature of television though.
  24. I remember seeing an episode about one of the cars. They were talking about how they just "tossed it together inexpensively". Then they show the Proline Racing motor. Their definition of not a lot of money and mine must be quite different. The OKC cars are real and fast as shit... but the show is as fake as WWE
  25. Atleast it's healthy food! If I see one more 30+ day old french fry in the back of my wife's Q7 I might lose my mind :fuuuu:
