Yes, you are correct. I knew someone would call me on it. Spiders ARE NOT insects they are arachnids. However, when trying to come up with a title, I wasn't sure what the first part would be on. Also, I needed something that would be quick read and fit without too many characters. "Insects" is something everyone understands and generally encompasses the entire little bug world to them. However, I'm glad you brought it up for me to explain. Spiders are not insects.

I've decided to post some intersting bug facts from time to time. Many of you aren't aware of some of the more amazing abilities of our tiny little friends. I believe education breeds awareness and respect and helps those with fear learn to deal with it a bit better. Since spider awareness seems to be on the rise here lately, I've decided to start with an interesting little spider commonly refered to as the Net Casting spider. http://www.oceanwideimages.com/images/8984/large/24T5855-38D-net-casting-spider.jpg From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deinopidae (full article at link) The spider family Deinopidae consists of stick-like elongate spiders that build unusual webs that they suspend between the front legs. When prey approaches, the spider will stretch the net to two or three times its relaxed size and propel itself onto the prey, entangling it in the web. Because of this, they are also called net-casting spiders. Their excellent night-vision adapted posterior median eyes allow them to cast this net over potential prey items. These eyes are so large in comparison to the other six eyes that the spider seems to have only two eyes. Just a few thoughts. Those super fast, long legged centipedes in your home are saving your ass. THey are voracious eaters of other insects including spiders. If you've never lived south of ohio or along the warmer coasts, you have nothing to compare. The amount of insects and spiders in my garage are next to nil whereas any other area I've lived in (especially out west - fuckin black widows are as common as flies) my garage was filled with spiders and other insects and digging thru boxes is never something you do absent mindedly. Yes, I know the cold weather helps a bit, but those centis are doing work. They are pretty much harmless to humans with a light sting to their bite. They are not aggressive however and if you're grabbing it, you deserve it. Spiders in your house: If you cannot identify it, get rid of it. No use taking chances. If you can, I'd suggest at least letting it out. Better yet, find a nice clear container. I havce a large one gallon round container like you buy bulk cheap candy in. It's setup with a stick plant and some moss with soil. Most spiders I catch in the house that I don't want wandering around are put in there. It's the battledome. Not only does this take care of your spider problem but will allow you to observe and learn about that particular spider. It's not hard to at least learn about the more common spiders around your house and can help some of you learn to deal with the fear of the unknown plus you can learn what spiders are actually dangerous and which aren't.

Awesome pics. I used to feed my Emperor Scorpions small mice on rare occasions. They would gang up on it to take it down. My largest female doing most of the work and eating of it.

A combination of lower temps and open exhaust is causing your creep. My supra has this issue due to the wastegate not flowing enough especially at lower boost. When freeing up my exhaust this exasperated the problem. Lower temps increase the problem. I will add that generally the freer the exhaust the better for a turbo. Putting your exhaust back on instead of the open downpipe may help a bit, but isn't the real solution to the problem.

I'll be keeping it in mind.

I like the look of short overhangs, as well. When it comes to proper tire size/wheel opening looks, BMW is the best. Their cars rarely look 'hollow' either. Always solid looking. Kinda hard to explain.

Has anyone ever seen "The Disclosure Project"? It's a long watch of people talking behind a podium, but I believe you would still find it amazing and shocking. The people who stand there and come forth are very credible. Anyway, it's an amazing watch. It's available in a few places on the web. Are you referring to that new show? I dl'd it and was planning on checking it out tonight. Any good?

I've head the rides are. I watched a top amusement parks show a long while back and both Kinds and Cedar were in the top10 with Cedar leading the way. I've only been to King's though.

The look on his face. Just that steady smile while she was freaking out. Normally, I have to tell my gf to shut the hell up and let me drive. She knew what she was getting into. However, I will say that when I took her out to the triple nickel, she kinda freaked out but it was a good time. She was freakin but laughing and enjoying herself, too. It was just funny, then. (She even handled the accidental spin out, too.)

You already drive a Mazda. Not a huge stretch. I will give props to ford for seemingly moving in the right direction. Still too early to tell for sure and I'm still burnt up about the fact they should've been bringing this shit here a long time ago.
