  1. I think you're both missing the point. But I digress.
  2. I think it's important you inform them that these will not stop marijuana reform. Also, free bump to help legitimize my post.
  3. Shoving the dog in the water is an asshole thing to do. What really got me was the very end of the film. (I also wonder how many of you actually made it to the very end.) How many fkn idiots didn't foresee the dog was going to be forced under when it got to the end in that current? Just a bunch of morons standing around... And yes, of course this upsets some people. "Animals>People" or "People>Animals" arguments aside, I don't appreciate living things with feelings and fears being forced into near death situations against their will. I don't give a shit if it's a dog or a child. Have some fkn common sense, decency and compassion. I'll just leave this soapbox here as I already have a couple at my house.

    Torrents

I run an old version uTorrent for many reasons, a few of which I'll list: No bloat, no ads, faster speeds, and none of the issues of the newer uTorrent (at least when I switched back some time ago.) Plus, a few options I missed that had been pulled or buried. The version is 2.2.1 for anyone interested. Wish I could remember the legit place I dl it from. You'll have to conduct your own search. I'd never really had an issue with using torrents since I don't dl movies and music much. Yet, I still got popped w/warnings within my first two weeks of moving here. So, I switched back to a VPN which I hadn't used for and sort of downloading in years. I've been happy with PureVPN for some time, now. I got a killer deal on my last year for $24. My speeds are awesome and it's one of the simplest VPNs you'll ever attempt to deal with. I immediately tested this VPN by dl a bunch of shit some of which I knew would be flagged. Passed w/flying colors. There have been a shitload of torrent sites closed, reopened and renamed over the last year or two. I've been doing a bit of research and shit and have a few sites I generally stick to for good traffic and offerings. If anyone would like a list, I'd prefer pm. Hope this helps some folk.
  5. :ninja::grin2::thumbup:
  6. Refill empty coolant bottles and return to store for refund. I think that's what Berto does.
  7. This^ But I'd like to add: Great added advice, Tim. I've seen a few ChrisFix vids. The guy's pretty good at what he does as he's won a few awards regarding the subject matter. As far as the nanoskin goes, how does it not scratch up the car? With the clay bar, the contaminants at least get sucked up into the clay. Granted, in my mind, I'm looking at the nanoskin thing and imagining me going out there and rubbing my car down with a piece of rubber. Not a good visual. lol Tim, if you get bored, throw me down some steps to clay, clean and wax a car that would be the easiest for a person with a super shitty back. My cars need it so bad, but I currently could not get one done in a single day if I needed to. I have a feeling step one will have to be, "1. Take to someone who won't be crippled detailing your car."
  8. He mentions it made just over 500hp on their SuperFlow engine dyno. So, technically, just over 500 at the crank, I'd guess.
  9. Haha Not the same but still funny. I actually couldn't get the whole thing in the screenshot. http://i.imgur.com/VB2AHdg.png
  10. Ha! I was going to post I would put a giant penny on the back. lol I've seen many various VW shorties. Especially when I lived in southern Cali.
  11. Welcome. If you take a look at my sig, you'll see why I'm enjoying your tastes/posts so far.
  12. Really? Going with the same tire? Why don't you get a tire that will at least let you keep up with the Vibe on the twisties without having to have that 1% chance perfect weather condition you'll need otherwise? Remember "...any given day..."? :burn: Or, you know, to at least keep you from sliding off the road when the redneck in front of you empties out his spit cup.
  13. Edit: Nevermind, working now.

    Westworld

I've been enjoying it. Watched the first nine episodes, so far.
  15. I think we all know they're better but it's nice seeing the back to back test and numbers. Thanks for posting.
  16. Y'all ready for that hardcore cold front coming? I may even have to throw on a long sleeve down here by the 8th.
  17. Cool grab, man. Glad you're enjoying it.
  18. I did mine on the Supra for about $40. Nice, clean install, as well.
  19. Bought one of these a long time ago for the RAV. Pretty cheap, as well at under $20. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RH29CJO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There's an extra AUX and cig lighter in bottom section of the center console of the RAV so everything, minus the controls of course, is nicely hidden and tidy. It has been stellar. Phone controls, mic, stream music and whatever other audio from your phone, Auto on/off, auto pairs, everything is clear and works correctly. More importantly, the music streamed doesn't take a huge hit in quality like some bt streamers. Also, f those fm/am modulators.
  20. You can always pull the i/c and run some gas or equivalent through it to get the rest of the oil out, dry it well (obviously), then run an aftermarket catch or throw together your own. Or, you can simply say to hell with it.
  21. Yes, but the southern Arizona heat will eat an interior alive. Still, I'd rather replace that than a car full of rust. After spending my life in the west and south and now having lived in the rust belt... never again. Not unless I suddenly start hating cars and everything about them. Never again will I put my car thru the roads and salt there. Living there made me dread working on a car.
