  1. Watched it. Nothing surprising there. I do like that they really dig into the "chip" as well as testing on the dyno, etc. Best quote of the vid: Scott from Haltech's thoughts on what VTEC-YO feels like: "...closest you're going to get to a boosted car without having it boosted or making any power." haha Like my Vibe's VVTL-i. All the feeling of a turbo and its lag without all that crappy fuel milage and power getting in the way. Are these the same guys (in the vid) who tested the electric leaf blowers on a Civic? I remember that actually showed a HP increase. haha
  2. Before watching the vid, I wonder if the chip is one of those pos that supposedly makes your car thinks its colder so it advances the timing. That will work a bit on a obd1 car, maybe, or an older carb operated car. If not that, I'm guessing maybe a throttle control device that will make the throttle a lot more sensitive but does nothing for actual power.
  3. Think that blankey will fit a CT26 housing? :-) It would take more time than I'm currently willing to give to check measurements. If you could find out what actual diameter that'll fit, I'll check the Supra later.
  4. Very nice, man. I'm curious about the actual intake position though. Air is generally pulled out through the bonnet area in front of the windshield - the exact opposite of what you'd want. Not to mention temperatures at that spot. I would seriously be curious enough to measure intake temps there and to measure atmospheric pressure, as well. Two very easy to accomplish tasks even if you don't have help. Anyway, I'm completely going on what I see in the pics without any experience of that kit on a mustang. So, take it for what it is.
  5. I like the upgrade. I would've also like some bigger pics to enjoy.
  6. Sounds like you're working through it. Good luck to you and your family in dealing with the loss.
  7. Is the pic being broke akin to owning a Jag? Or is my internets not running right like my Supra?
  8. Heard this song just a bit ago on a random Pandora mix and thought of this thread and you guys. :gabe:
  9. Awesome, man. Sounds like you had a good time. So much to do even if you don't like gambling. Sites, shows, nature, etc. I'm not much into gambling and I was never bored when I lived there. There are some nice drives out in the desert and into the mountains, too.
  10. That vid had everything I needed to see to go out and do something manly today! Weeds in my flower bed, here I come!
  11. It looks like they stop it pretty quickly. The soccer kicks should probably go in a team based match such as that, though. Shit, who knows, it could possibly evolve past just a bunch of guys running out and swinging at each other just like regular MMA did; well, higher level MMA anyway. haha
  12. They should call it UGC. Ultimate Gang Fighting. My favorite team is the East Los Angeles Vatos Locos.
  13. Haha Man. I hate getting kicked out of places for crazy shit but I gotta say if I wanted to be bored, I would've stayed home.
  14. That's what I was leaning towards. Sometimes shit just happens. And no, they aren't handling it well.
  15. I agree with the above.
  16. The list is endless, so.. As far as current popular songs - Happy by Pharrell. I enjoyed it maybe once then it got real old, real fast.
  17. Holy shit, wtf. I don't expect my $2x,xxx Toyotas to do that shit. (And they don't.) I can understand you're going to get a car that occasionally has some issues. SO many are built everyday, it's bound to happen. But how does a car have that many issues - And I'm not supposed to believe that Porsche doesn't have other issues? Perhaps not, but I don't understand how this one car is that bad and we're supposed to believe the rest of their cars are reliable? VAG touch of death? The guy in the second vid launching looks like he's having some fun, though. lol
  18. Haha Ya, I know Benner works there. Dave Gill sounds familiar... Where have I heard that? I'm so f'n terrible w/names. Anyway, I haven't been there since before the last time I spoke to Benner after moving into Cbus. Oh, and before he started working there, obviously. I would've requested him to work on it, otherwise. Like you said, knowing someone always goes a long way. Im still missing most of my interior clips and the few that are left are mostly broken or loose. Not to mention one of the recalls wasn't performed properly. Just never have the time to go all the way to Delaware and will probably just have to solve it myself at this point.
  19. Very nice, love the color. I agree about the current wheels needing to go, though.
  20. Stay the hell away from Chesrown in Delaware while you're at it. They screwed so much shit up on a simple recall fix for the Vibe it's simply ridiculous. When they found out they screwed up, they never bothered to contact me afterward (even though they said they would like the "always" do for a follow up and to question me about what I thought of the service. I wonder why. This was just one issue with them...
  21. Hahahahaaha Where's this at? Is it somewhere that Mustangs aren't sold?
