  1. So, what I understand is that you don't mind the D in the A but you put your foot down to no lube. Oh, and that installing your new water heater is going to cost you. If it makes you feel any better I had to blow $20 on a water heater insulated wrap a couple weeks ago. :gabe:
  2. The RAV4 4x4 V6 is faster than the Camry, Sienna... and the FRS.

    Missing Plane

We're still discovering large animals. Not being able to find a missing plane is not that far-fetched. What is kinda crazy to me is that they could lose track of it at all. I read supposedly Boeing offers extra security, lo-jack type shit, etc for extra money but the airline turned down the "Gold" package, so to speak. Don't feel like finding the article but that's the gist.
  4. Verde's or Vossen's. The Vossen's look pretty good on an Audi. However, the Verde's sound like a good deal an look good, as well while standing out a bit more.
  5. You know, I thought those races looked a bit familiar. I even double checked the date on Youtube but that just fooled me, I guess. I watch so damn many and some with the same cars it just becomes a jumbled mess in my noggin.
  6. Posted 3/7/14 on Tada Tetsuya's Facebook page. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=69536&d=1394220989 Gotta be something more than just a simple special edition. :burn:
  7. GTR winning and losing some vs Supra, MR2, S2K and bike. Most cars here 1000+. Nice vid and newly released this week.
  8. Whole kernel corn on a small treble has always worked best for me. I fish them for two reasons. 1. They grow large and put up one hell of a fight. 2. Many species are considered a nuisance in most places. You can clean and cook them but it takes some good experience due to the bones and shit. I used to give them away if anyone wanted them or use them as bait and/or fertilizer. Depending on the kind of carp you've caught and where, you may be "obligated" to not return it to the water. And by that I mean that the parks and rec dept or whatever would appreciate it if you didn't return it but whatever. I'll be honest, don't feel like looking up the exact guidelines for this area right now.
  9. lol Anyone read some of the idiotic comments left for the article in that link?
  10. Weather, plugs, o2, clogged cat(s). If you don't have a scanner, get it scanned. Just cuz the engine light is off doesn't mean it hasn't thrown a code. Those are quickly off the top of my head. Quick update: Also, be sure you don't have a brake or parking brake dragging. With all the cold, moisture and salt with an older car it can become a real possibility.
  11. Ditto. lol What year? It's look like a newer Civic. I'd thought they'd put a huge 6th gear in there like many other manufacturer's to help with highway mileage. Do they use the same 6sp in the SI and they do the regular Civic? It makes more sense in a SI, I guess or in my Faktrix GTRS, I mean, Matrix XRS, I mean Vibe GT.
  12. Man, this thread has delivered on the emotional roller coaster but ultimately ended with me laughing off half your comments and laughing at the other half. I'd make a poignant statement but what's the purpose at this point? lol
  13. Candis told me yesterday. That really sucks for the three of you and especially Mandy. Hang in there, guys.
  14. I'm inclined to believe they wouldn't fudge the numbers in a tribute video, so to speak. I know that's not a guarantee but as I said, I'd like to believe their moral compasses are pointing the right way.
  15. Looks like we sit at about the same rpm at 70.
  16. lol Yes, I've seen these before. If you pan the camera to the right, you can watch the preparations for some lawn mower racing and "carrying your wife across the threshold - trailer addition". Big Bob is the current favorite there, despite actually only weighing in at 125lb while his wife comes in at a svelte 320lb.
  17. First, let me say it is overpriced. Perhaps, not as much as some believe, however. Don't forget you're getting a car that'll probably last as long as a Camry with excellent build quality and reliability, not to mention a bit of exclusivity which is priceless to some. People get so used to seeing "regular" assembly line autos and their general quality and assume all supercars are built the same way. They just weren't. Sure you got the passion and the performance but only for that special day it all worked once per year. Nowadays, with larger companies, ie; VW owning Lambo, that quality has improved and there's not such a gap. Still, Lexus offered that when almost no other super car manufacturer could and they did it on their first try basically. No, it's not perfect. Yes, there are some other cars I'd probably rather have. Just thought I'd add some thoughts to the debate. It's still overpriced, but maybe not quite as much as you used to think.
  18. Nice. And like anything Lexus, everything little thing on it will still probably work years down the road, from the mechanicals to all the little switches, etc. Good chance it may be the only supercar not to spontaneously catch fire every other day, too.
  19. Well, right der's your problem. Ya gotch yer parking brake on.
  20. http://www.beertripper.com/btimages/towelie.png I have no idea what's going on.
  21. All I did was stare out the window with disappointment when I woke up... Then, I vacuumed and mopped. Norm 1 Me 0 Strike that. Norm 1 Me -1
  22. 2003 Pontiac Vibe GT in 6th gear. This was taken just shortly before I blew the doors off a certain white GTR last night. It's about 3100 rpms... in 6th. haha It's not loud and I still average around 28 mixed, mostly city. http://tinyurl.com/lglb4jx
