Sumburger is no where near what it used to be. Smaller and just not as tasty as they were before most on CR were born lol. Still better than McD's, just not as good as they were.

What makes them think Circleville? In my little town outside Circleville there is a Pontiac shop that has 60/70's stuff. Makes me wonder.

Re-reading the updated first, To run in the CR lane we have to pay the extra $5? I'm not really interested in hanging out in the vip suite. If we don't pay the extra for the wristband what is the process for being designated to run in the reserved CR lane? Thanks for any clarification.

^^^this Nice guy but just the basics most of the time. He did check me pretty good at the start of the year including under hood and emergency switch on back, but maybe he remembered me the rest of the year. At the rental he only checked my helmet. I know my safety stuff meets or exceeds what I need, but others who don't concern me.

As stated, you have to have padding any place your head could touch the cage per NHRA. On the other side of the crappy stock plastic interior panels lies steel panels so not much different. Both my seats have 5 point harnesses and is very comfortable on the road. Give consideration to the rear down bars, I was discouraged from running them clear back to the rear panel as in a rear collision they could be used as a lever to force the main hoop forward and cause injury.

More lenient tech? Only thing I was checked for was my helmet at NTR in the spring. I vote for NTR.

^ this is how I launch, 1.47 60'. Something else to try if not a dd is to back off the accelerator pump adjustment so you don't get the pump shot until the higher launch rpm. Bring the car to the rpm you want to launch at and adjust the pump arm to 0 clearance there instead of at idle. This was covered in an old Barry Grant catalog tech section iirc.

I worked at Liebert in manufacturing at the turn of the century(sounds strange) and have had a few jobs in my life. The Liebert job is the only one that I have ever LOVED! I was left alone to be as productive as I wanted, and my production and quality numbers were not exceeded in my department. But, at the time atleast, they laid off based on seniority so I got axed and the people who had been there 10-15+ years kept their jobs. In 2008 I was offered a position at the same time as another offer and accepted the non Liebert job because it was closer.

I have a '76 Super Beetle convertible, triple white car. I have had it since '84 and people love them. Ghias are cool. If you don't want a modified VW, a later fuel injected Beetle doesn't have the "Beetle sound", is quieter and has a much better heater due to improved heat exchangers.

Tech was way less than on a typical TnT night. Sat the guy only checked my helmet, at TnT he checks under hood, my harness, my jacket, my battery box, and has me start the car to test the batt cut-off. He probably looks at the lug nuts too. My car is in compliance for the times it runs, but what about the guy in the other lane?
