I know that the engine will do about 400 on stock internals. the weak spot in those engines are the cams. Ford always had problems with the 2.3 killing the cam lobe because of oiling problems. Tha issue may have been solved by the late 80's. Also... parts are so cheap it will make your head spin.

That is what I was saying too about the Federal Reserve printing money. IMHO all fractional reserve systems are going to suffer a crash, ours will be a matter of time. This problem started long before Bush!

I am much more patient now than I was when I lived in C-bus. I was there one night at the movies and some kid comes up to me and says "Yo' dawg what time u gots" I looked at him and said " The proper way to ask the time is to say... Excuse me sir do you have the time?...try it next time....by the way its 11:30" The kid was about 19-20 and had a dumbfounded look on his face when I got done

I have said this for years. If you illegally tow a car you should be charged with theft! Serves him right. He should also have to payback all the people he towed over the years!

update: I used the gas that I had in it from yesterday. I filled up down in Columbus today and drove back to Mt. Vernon with no Check engine light. I am starting to lean toward bad gas.

That sensor is over 300 from GM parts direct.... Do you know if it is by the filter?

2002 Suburban 1500 5.3 Flex Fuel 104K So I am driving home last night and the service engine soon light came on. I just put gas in the car about 15 miles before the light came on. I did a little research on the sensor so far, and it looks like it could be water in the fuel from bad gas. Has anyone ever had this before. Also where is this sensor located? Thanks in advance
