  5. New car average cost in 2015 in the US is $33,560 The goal is to pay yourself first those payments of that 30k car then once you have it go buy that car. In my case, I made the mistake of leasing my girls car for 3 years, then had to eat the buyout bc of the .09% offer along with the car was in mint shape with only 20k miles after 3 years. So I make the 225 payment to VW, 250 payment to myself (for future car so I dont have to get loans or lease) at the same time. Over the course I now have 18k aside for her next ride. 12 or so months the 225 will go away, the payment becomes 475 to myself and in no time I will have that 40k needed for a new ride (aslong and nothing crazy happens to our Tiguan the next 2-5 years. As someone who saves a large portion of my income and strict about not touching it, there are days and months of living like a monk and others feeling more normal and even fortunate.
  6. IRA is an account not an investment. You have to fund the account then make investments. Roth means the money you put in is already taxed before the investment is made. That way when that money grows over 30-40 years when you are ready to pull it out and spend it the money comes out tax free. Traditional IRAs the money is put in pre-tax from your paycheck (more $ upfront to invest ) but when your 100$ turns into 1000$ over time and you go to pull that 1000 out it is taxed. So when you open the IRA account did you set up funds to be transferred every so often into the account? Did you submit investment choices like mutual funds or index funds? If not you need to setup fund transfer schedule that you can work with and choose investments. I suggest a Target Date fund which you just choose the year you want to retire and it manages all the investments for you or just a basic total stock fund or SP500 index fund. Remember: "The problem for millennials is it's hard to think long-term," "The unfortunate reality is that time and compounded interest are an investor's greatest asset, yet so few are able to leverage it."
  7. I am on the S cycle since the 3S so I am pretty excited after 2 years again. The 3D touch is nice, and I was impressed on the watch.. normally a hater. All the Droid fans wont like Apple until they come out with some laser keyboard, 4k 100" projector and shit. Apple has always worked for me without having to think or learn how to do something. The shit just works, the shit just connects to all my bluetooth stuff with no effort.. I have a Note 4 and still cant figure the damn thing out. Whenever I use my little bros S5 it crashes every 15min. Now the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil gave me a huge woody, will be dropping stupid money on that since I have never had one and currently rocking no laptop.
  8. never heard of Callaway before but I saw a "Callaway" corvette that was like 2 tone gray with a center stripe at Chipotle on E Broad the other day.
  9. Damn im at 160$ u450 + max turbo, 1 DVR, 3 or 4 wireless boxes. I'm figuring 52$ internet (att max turbo) 25 for sling, 10 for hulu, 100yr for NHL 100yr for NBA (17$ a month), cbs $5. Still at 104$+tax
  10. for an extra 5$ a month on sling you get. NBC universal sports bein sport tdn ESPNU SEC ESPN Network ESPN NEWS Espn Bases loaded Espn Buzzer Beater Espn Goal line CBS streaming (solo app) might be worth the extra 5$ CBS said to stream more sports over the app. If you can grab a login from somone with UVERSE or TW you can watch BIGTEN2GO on computer or app.. Also, If you have Verizon cellular you can atleast get free NFL. I am dropping Uverse cable for Slingtv+hulu once I get some new TVs.. Does anyone know if you have ATT internet if your ATT login will still work for online streaming?
  11. isnt there some online league/pool we can start that you pick all the games with spreads?
  12. I added to all my longs this morning. I hope it is 2008 again, not many second chances to get into the market cheap (helps having a super long time horizon). I am stalking the XLE and USO for entry on reversal and then dump all remaining cash into my longs. Loving the banks large BAC and regional HBAN at these levels. Only long I have that I am worried about is AA. Greed killed me on that one. I was damn near tripled up at 18 and thought "just wait till 20".
  13. 12-13 RS5 and S6 with under 20k miles can be had in that range. Not sure about manuals though
  14. x2, we just did alot of work with them to help them out after their shop fire. good people.

  16. I have been buying MSFT on any weakness in my long term account. I was lucky enough to start in the 20-22 range, cost is up to ~35 now.
  17. might want to change to cost averaging every 50 cents or a dollar instead of a quarter.... Or just wait till 10 supply is piling up and the downtrend in price action is still on. personally i'd wait for some type of up day to hold for more than a couple of days before goin long. Lower Highs and Lower Lows is definition Bear trend.
  18. Seriously guys he identifies himself as a 14yr old boy dont you know
  19. and to use their military or gov emails none the less

If you like the corporate game and like playing it then its a great place. Also, good if you want to feel like an ant in an ant hill. I worked at Polaris for 6 months and the Westerville buildings for a year. Westerville was much better.
