What do you mean by safe programs? I just got utorrent... Does that count?

Very cool. If anybody has a spare demonoid invite lying around, I'd definitely appreciate it.
-
I still use limewire and never upgraded. I would rip my music from youtube, but the quality blows. I've got a decent stereo and try to get all of my music in 192 or higher. Please - link me to a newsgroup or something better. Demonoid? Whatever that is, I think I want it.

Watterson was a solid private school. If your kids can deal with a discussion/history of religion, they will be fine. I'm not Catholic, but Watterson was far better than my neighborhood school (Whetstone) You would be surprised by how many atheist, agnostic, hindu, jewish etc kids go there.

Cool vehicles. Look like you have a good time with them. Welcome to the fold... now tear those teeth out of your grill haha

Not sure what qualifies good looking. Mine's black, hasn't faded, hasn't compacted down too much. Its short and fiberous... not like soft household carpet, but you wouldn't want it to be too nappy since it's getting wet all the time. There are probably better options out there, but price/performance, the lowes carpet works for me.
-
My lowes carpet is in good shape/not faded after 4 years. If you can't find any expensive stuff, the cheap stuff isn't so bad either.

Sweet. 614streets, I am working in Powell all week, but I may call you over lunch to see where you're located and if you're around. Thanks for the advice and the aircraft recommendation. Would not have considered that one.

Don't have much experience here either haha! You own a shop, correct? Think you could tear them out? I gotta warn you that I did break off an easy out in one of the holes. If that one can't be fixed, I think that the rest will still hold enough. Edit: You may want to look into your website... Firefox has it on a list of "attack sites" that are unconsciously distributing bad software. I reported it as okay, but the warning stayed in the corner of my browser.

Overview http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/hot_wire/DSC01429.jpg One I drilled into http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/hot_wire/DSC01432.jpg They each poke up about 2mm. This one is in a bit of a recess, while the others are on the flat outer rectangle portion. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/hot_wire/DSC01431.jpg

This is a really high stress part, so I'm afraid to use helicoils in it. I would drill and tap it myself, but I am inexperienced, and I want the threads to be near PERFECT so that nothing goes wrong in the future. If the screws were to back out, I would ruin a propeller, a drive shaft and all kinds of shit that I don't want to deal with. Photos in a sec

Hmm.... I'm not positive that they're stainless on aluminum then. I drilled into one of them easily with my cheapo black and decker. I just assumed that they were stainless by how tightly stuck they were into the part. Got a machine shop for me!?

Any sponsors or recommended shops near the Clintonville/Worthington area? I have an aluminum part with four stainless steel m6 bolts that are sheared off in it. I am looking to drill and retap those four holes (about 1/2 inch deep). Going up a size does not matter. Any clue what I should expect to pay for this job? I assume that it would be fairly quick/simple (only need a shop drill press). Walk in or same day service would be cool!

Insult gets a 10.

I can barely put my anger into words on this one. Been trying to get the threaded part of a bolt out of a piece of aluminum. I sheared the head off the bolt, so now I'm trying to drill the remainder out. Things were going okay until the fucking easyout broke off inside of my hole. Now there's an easyout with a fucking bolt gift wrapping to pull out. GAAAAAAAA what do I do?! No amount of PB blaster is helping. I've tried heating it, drilling it, and most recently barefist punching it. nothing fuckfuckfuck I'm leaving to get drunk.

Wakeboarding's awesome, but different without a fat wake. Good practice for ground tricks though. I spent my afternoon wakeskating... just don't run over the rope. Untangling the driveshaft leads to removing the intake grate which leads to shearing the head of a bolt which leads to retapping all the bolts and then to the step that I'm on - searching for new A4 stainless bolts. F my night.

Thought I had the exact same issue twice. First time it was a bad fuse in the ignition box, second time the connection to my battery had rusted/corroded and needed a quick sanding. Just some freebies to check before investing in a solenoid.

I'm surprised how well that plan was working... until...

My advice would be to get a common, mainstream boat. If you buy a big massed produced brand name (seadoo, yamaha, malibu, bayliner etc) there are many replacement parts and dealers available. Not only that but plenty of online support and walkthroughs out there too. Hopefully you can find somewhere other than Sizzle Marine. My experiences have been poor. Examples of Sizzle Marine sucking: 1. Needed the carbs rebuilt/retuned on my waverunner. Their cost was slightly under $700. I did some research and completed the job for ~ $100 in parts and a few hours of work on a Sunday afternoon. 2. I was looking for bulk oil and calling local places. Sizzle priced yamalube at over $60 a gallon when I generally buy 2 stroke oil for ~15 a gallon.

caught me before the edit!

You probably won't find many SAAB parts at chain stores. Try thesaabsite.com, genuinesaab.com or locally, Auto Restoration Techniques (http://saabparts4u.com/). Your best bet to get it quick is ART - he has a whole yard of junked SAABs. Edit: Reread your post and saw that you're not going used. Try talking to Shaker SAAB in Cleveland (MAG in Columbus is worthless) or some of the local SAAB shops like Tommy Turbo's or thesaabshop.

That stuff is waaaay expensive! I called sizzlemarine (bunch o tools) for the ole pennzoil and they told me that yamalube was the way to go. $45 a gallon? shit no! Thanks!
-
Found it for $16 a gallon at Autozone... Getting cheaper. Still looking for bulk suggestions!

Where do you guys get your oil for cheap? My waverunners have used Pennzoil 2cycle "premium plus" marine oil for all 200 hours of their lives. The oil seems good, but it's always a struggle to find it at a good price. The best I can do right now is Westmarine for $20 a gallon. Last year, I managed to find it for $10 a gallon at Meijer. Deals are out there, but I just can't find them. I would be willing to buy in bulk (5-10 gallons at a time) if you know of any oil distributors. Thanks!
