  1. They need to build a garage on the flat lot across the stret from the current one. Luckily night classes there is all sort of parking, but my class at 1 I do not look foreward too, my biggest thing are the fucking motorcycles that park in the regular lot, they have their own damn parking in 3 different lots that are NEVER full.
  2. Jeep, Would be leary of the possibility that the supercharger may need rebuilt soonish unless it already has.
  3. How about a AWD Lexus IS350? Mercedes and Audi's are good new until their warranty expires, the Tahoe is a solid choice, the Ford truck is a solid choice, the hummer is really gay in my opinion and would look retarded slammed.
  4. We've got a 2.7T A6 with 93K and records of synthetic oil changes and both the turbos are puking oil all down the side of the block and onto the floor in their garage. Theirs is not the only one and almost every Audi/VW turbo car that comes in is leaking oil from the turbo or coolant on the VW's. That is why I said what I said....
  5. If you are used to the Honda and you are able to afford it pretty well stick with it. The Audi will be a nightmare there is a reason people sell them around that mileage. It is coming up on the labor intensive timing belt service, these are known for the turbos leaking oil (there are two of them on this engine if you didn't know) and to repair them requires removing the engine, the valve covers leak and they are a pain in the butt to replace as well as the rear cam shaft seals. 87K miles is what we call the "danger zone" expect t-belt, leaking turbos, front axle shafts, and any of the 8 control arm links to go bad. Would not touch it with a stick UNLESS you can get it to a shop and they can tell you the underside of the car is 100% oil free which is highly unlikely. I would upgrade to maybe a newer Honda if you like yours or if you want something nicer move up to an Acura TL or something. I would not do an Audi unless it had 0 miles and I would plan on selling it after the 60K service.
  6. What are they going to do with GTR wheels, re sell them? Since there are so many of those for sale lol. I do hope that is a photochop as well.
  7. Fantastic car, love the hill climb videos with guys running the MKII Escorts

    Just an FYI.

I will be AWD this winter...can't wait. Debating on going for the snow tires. Order early if your going snow tire route, tirerack was back ordered out almost a month last winter for the 14's on the MR2.
  9. Oh we stand behind what we put on cars, if people really do not like what we recommend we take care of it since we are not an authorized dealer through tirerack....I was making the statement that we have a guy that really likes them has them on his Cayman, S4, Quattro Coupe, several 944's etc... On that same note since most VW's and Audi's come with conti's from the factory anyway we had a couple stop by with a pair of 07 2.0T Passat's and had us put the same conti's that came on the car from the factory on both cars. Would we recommend them and put them on a car no probably not, then again that is because of what you stated. We have put Kumho Solus's on numerous A4's with great results and well as the Yokohama Avid line. I just put the V4S's on Ericas car and am already super pleased with them, I would NOT recommend the Yokohama S Drives.
  10. See thats what I was curious of for people that used to own civics the S2K is a step up, but you shouldnt have to beat the car to shit aka be above 6K to make power all the time. Interesting, thanks for sharing that. Oh and I like Mini's A LOT, love the styling inside and out and the power band of the "S" model is a lot of fun, it would e cool to drive one with some simple mods.
  11. Welcome fellow MR2 owner..in the past. Nice collection, do you like the S2K better than the MR2's? Just curious..
  12. Yeah Heelside (anothony) and I told him about it, pretty cool kid. He is working his way up at the shop right now. Nomad is the nickname we gave him because he wanders around the shop all day haha.
  13. I would check out continental, they seem to hold up pretty well on Audi's. We have a guy that comes to the shop that has like 10 Porsches and audi's and he only uses Continental. I would definitly hop on tirerack and read some reviews after you put some car information in. It's all about research, all cars respond to tires differently.
  14. 19 1988 Fiero's Oh snap look at all of the previa all-tracs lol
  15. Tight black pants and a white/blk tee if I remember right. I had jeans and a black hoodie.

    KABOOM

WOW that's neat, thanks for sharing that. They say things happen for a reason, so maybe it's time for a new direction...
  19. For all of you people hating about import engines in American cars, here is one of the R34 Skyline's from the fast and the furious that was used as a stunt car, it is a Skyline body on a VW tube chassis beetle....thought this was pretty funny. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/VW-Bugpowered-R34-Skyline_708471.htm
  20. Erica and I were there last night around like 830 ish i think, Didn't even see this until just now, but we were there!
  21. '94's look like the '95 GT's but with less side bolster.
  22. It looks like any other camaro, but with big stupid wheels.
  23. Our family has had state farm since forever I pay around 480 a year on the mr2, with no violations. My rates have been dropping the last couple of months...
  24. Look at the Pontiac GXP only offered in a 6 speed, would not surprise me if they only offered a particular model of the Camaro in a manual. I think it looks pretty good, I think i like the hood better.
