  1. Have I seen this before? Why yes I have, it is a sick car though.
  2. Intake manifolds leak on a lot of GM motors for whatever reason, not terrible to take care of, but something to watch for especially with that mileage on the GM. The Dodge I can't really talk about, check the front suspensions on both.

    New here!

Welcome, I may have seen your car at one of the autocrosses, may not have.
  4. Pretty interesting how some of those are really common things that almost seem old now, makes you wonder what the future holds. I agree that there is much more technology that is in process of being developed that is not ready to be released to the public yet.
  5. Bill Fulton does injector flow testing and cleaning, not on this board, but if you do a search he also teaches tech classes out in Westerville.
  6. That mohawk lift looks like a full overhead lift...we have three of them and they have been used for almost 20 years w/o a problem. The one in that picture looks like the one in the bay I work in. Not great for huge trucks because one arm is shorter than the other.
  7. 7M swap would be hot, one of the most under rated motors in the Toyota world in my opinion.
  8. What is funny about these prices are the people over at charity newsies getting their free shit driving cars with these kind of plates.....hmmm if you stop buying them you could afford clothing for yourself and kids. /rant
  9. Erica's are red (red car), they were painted like shit and going to be re-sprayed black or silver when it is time to do front brakes.
  10. I would run as far as you can, especially if he does not do his own work, or if this is his first euro car, he will get a rude awakening. You could not pay me to buy that, it is beyond the "danger zone" which is any mileage past 60K. If they have maintenance records out the butt, which is not probable, I would not consider it. Audi's of that era are borderline affordable for a mechanic. Most guys at the shop love to drive them, but after seeing what they need to kep them running both well kept ones and not well kept ones, they would not own one personally. Just my .02
  11. Put mud flaps on that shit for all of us in little cars! Looks nice.
  12. Wait, what? Your going to give him his asking price AND your car? Seriously? Think about that for a second....if you have 4K just buy it, why do you have to give him your car? Sweet price, not my cup of tea car, good luck with the sale. Hope it goes to a good home.
  13. That is all I know as of right now, we have the maintenance history on the car here at the shop, we have worked on it since 56K miles, had a timing belt at 117K tires at 138K etc, oil changes have been pretty frequent. They decided that they did not want to put in a NEW distributor si we put a used one in and this was the result, pretty sure a new dizzy will fix the running problem. Like I said it runs strong until it cuts, I drove it to get lunch the other day, died once on the way there and back.
  14. Called an ultralite, I have posted better pictures of it on here before.
  15. Got two for sale right now and here they are.. 2005 Yamaha YZF R6 bike has 1,633 miles, the paint lines are still preset on the outer edge of the treads, bike has never been down. The bike is being sold by the service writer of the shop, it was his daughters that she bought for her boyfriend, they broke up and she herself does not ride. There was talk that it is lowered 2 inches. Asking $5,500 Comes with a riding jacket and helmet, forgive me I don't know the size, feel free to ask him yourself. Contact number is 614-263-4978 ask for Mark, or feel free to PM me. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01881.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01882.jpg And the second is a 1995 Eagle Summit AWD, 151K miles, it has the 2.4L 4G64 4 cylinder, 5 speed, power everything. This thing sat for awhile and Pat and I just got it running again, so the rotors are rusted over and warped etc... IT's known needs w/o putting it on a lift or looking closely Flex pipe is leaking Runs for a little while then engine cuts, it will sit for a few minutes then fire right back up, it has a used distributor in it and it's probably bad. This thing could be a good one to flip, could be a good winter beater, could be a 4G63 swap car??? We drove it several times, but not far because it randomly cuts power as described above, runs strong. ASKING $1500 Blue Book is $2200 to $3000 http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01879.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01880.jpg
  16. Thats pretty neat technology
  17. REALLY??? LMAO that is hilarious. No we still don't have a/c in the office, send me a PM, how are you doing?
  18. Neato, the top gear episode on these things is hilarious. Do NOT Want
  19. They ask that you match the $100 when you open. I have an account there now. Their interest rates are pretty good compared to where I am at.
  20. The place is called soundtronx, it is now where Mobile Electronics used to be. Again, don't know if this is the place that was on the radio, but there is a new mobile audio and whoopty wheel place.
  21. AWESOME, love those cars to death, did you stop by the Northend Wrench the other day to have an A/C line crimped by chance?
