  1. Seating for 10 whomever gets there first please Erica and I will be heading up very shortly. Christian - If you catch this I will have your trans cooler in the car as well!! Otherwise we need to meet up to get that to you.
  2. Alrighty, here is my piece. I turn Subaru's on the side frequently I know them well. I also work on almost all of them that come throught the shop with that being said as of right now Subaru is NOT a company I would recommend when considering a N/A powered Subaru. The 2.0T motors have held up VERY well if you don't dick around a ton with them. I just had a 2007 Impreza Sport in last week (the impreza wagon) with the ever popular 2.5 SOHC that ALLLLL the Subaru guys claim was redeemed of the head gasket problem. It was leaking oil (when I say leak I mean dripping) from the back of BOTH heads at 37K miles, it has had all oil changes synthetic since new on record. It also had a resonator that was split along the seam that is a dealer only part that costs about $400 to replace, that's just the part. I stress to you that if you look at one do yourself a favor and crawl under the front of the car/look from behind the front wheels foreward at the rear of the heads, if there is any sign of oil seepage that seems significant to you expect head gasket replacement around 70K miles which is roughly 35K miles ahead of the timing belt service. Otherwise they are second to none IMO in the snow there are plenty of other very satisfied Subaru owners on this board, but a majority of them are turbo cars that have less issues than the SOHC motors. I love them to death because I buy them for next to nothing dump a ton of parts into it and have a solid car that when I sell to someone else I have confidence that they will have almost no issues until the heads start leaking AGAIN.
  3. I would watch for sure, I would consider working the event as a volunteer if they needed it. Don't really have anything that I need to run in a standing mile. Maybe if the MR2 gets a V6 someday I would, but for now nah. Oh and when you say Port Authority I was wondering if you were talking about the DHL airport strip in Wilmington? If so, the SCCA has been working with them as a potential autocross site since I believe the town now owns it.

  5. You will really enjoy those tires. We love them here at the shop 1 guy has them on his G8 and numerous other customers have been picking them up lately.
  6. I thought it was hilarious...
  7. Thank you Erik, see you soon!
  8. I like how there isn't a head gasket used, just wow on a lot of the engineering. I have to add though, the power curve on the gyno graph is absolutely retarded and thw power is almost useless. Period. But more of a bragging thing IMO. Not to take anything away from the car, now put a smaler turbo on it and keep the redline way high and holy shit that would be a fun car.
  9. The Beer store is pretty cool, it is literally called just that. Avoid the bridge, take the tunnel. Otherwise from that I will never go back, nothing much to see IMO, but I'm not a huge partyer either.
  10. Cheap? Datsun 240Z...damn near anything fits in these Nissan 240sx....Sean has the mounting stuff for a LS1 in the swap meet section to put this together. GC8 Subaru Impreza...newer 2.0 swap, baby WRX MKIII Supra - XJZ swaps, XUZ V8 swaps In my book anything post 1990ish European is "expensive" if you want to do it right and make good power unless you are pulling the stock motor and going American V8. This year break obviously depends on the manufacturer as well it varies. I would loose the T-type, the Supra if you want MKIV, the RX7 if you want FD, and the 951 lol. 944 is cool if you go LS1, but good 951's are tough to find under 10K.
  11. Rust X100, battery is under the rear seat it is the MOST common place to find a hole or a rough in weld job. Great vehicles, easy to work on we see a couple every year here at the shop. I personaly don't like driving them. They have little steering response, weak sauce brakes. Oil leaks are very common from everywhere.
  12. Golf swing trainer, marble rolling pin per their request.
  13. Pandora bracelet, victoria secret goodies, and a stuffed owl
  14. I hope when you say 323 you are speaking of the wonderful GTX version? Especially with your love of AWD vehicles.
  15. Welcome, I saw you drive at one of the CMS "fun" events. I was really blown away seeing experienced drifting in person. Definitly something I do not want to participate in due to the obvious risks involved, but it's fun to watch and the cars are really neat.

    Need a Haircut?

Then keep going to the same person and refrain from posting in a thread you have nothing to contribute to other than a opinion that frankly doesn't need to be stated, enough is said by you just not showing up? As far as $12 goes well, you are paying to have your haircut by students representing a name brand, so just like anything you pay more for the name brands. I used to pay $10 with the guy that cut my hair since I was like 5.
