    Question

Yep, back when I had my Z28 I made the drive to Polaris a few times (it was one of the "spots" back then) and always found a race or two on the drive back home. The meet spots never seem to be close except for Sawmill (I've always lived on the west side) but I never came out much and don't have a fun car anymore, so I can't complain.
  3. The Andersons had a lot of OEM colors that I couldn't find elsewhere
  4. Call Lowes and ask them to special order some in white. They only carry black but they can get white, it will take a week or two to get in though
  5. Just say no to automatics. Get a 4th gen for a quarter of the price
  6. Congrats on the purchase! Awesome choice. I think you'll love it
  7. The 97 PCM was different from the 98-02, and completely different from the '03
  8. Yeah, you definitely need the '03 PCM
  9. I've driven a couple 08's and a 2012, all V6 models, they were ok. The SRT versions look sweet and I'm sure they are fun to drive, but I would never consider owning one since they aren't offered in a stick shift.
  10. I've owned several GM's with over 200k miles. My current daily ('99 Regal) has 243k and my last daily ('97 Silverado 4x4) had 241k when I got rid of it. My '92 Camaro has 214k. The only car I ever had to put significant amounts of repairs into was my first car and that was a 1989 Celebrity I got for $900 bucks back in 2003. Who gives a fuck about mileage if you have service records and as long as it's been taken care of. As far as I'm concerned, the more miles it has the cheaper I can get it for.
  11. LOL holy shit I was just thinking about him the other day. That shit on the p/a channel was crazy. He would pour wine in his cereal, chug it, puke it up and drink it. Then he would drive around drunk and smash peoples windows. He would always be like "YOUR LIFE SUCKS ASS" haha weird/interesting to say the least.
  12. If it comes in a stick I'm going to buy one
  13. He looks like The Undertaker http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g207/BEAUTY_V/takerstonecold.jpg
  14. Those looks awesome! What wheels were on the car prior to those?
  15. It was an exhaust option from SLP available on the SS starting in 1996. I think '98 was the last year for the "two-on-the-left" as it's known. Bump for a nice car at a good price

I like how the guy says he "doubled his horsepower" for the cost of a wheel and tire setup (whatever that means). That's a pretty broad price range, and his math is off just a bit
  18. Yep, first or reverse. I never understood why someone would leave it in neutral when parked. If the e-brake fails and your car isn't in gear, good luck with that
  19. says the guy with a '93 Camry
  20. Since you can't hear the engine, you'll have a harder time especially since you said the tach isn't working correctly. All it takes is practice. Every stick car will drive different. I would be driving my Camaro all day and come home and get into my truck and it would feel so weird at first, the clutch and shifter feel is so different depending on what you're driving. Learning how to drive a stick is a lot of fun, just keep practicing. I'm stuck with two autos at the moment and I don't like it. 99% of the time I prefer driving manuals.
  21. I had a leather Fossil bifold for several years (because tri-folds are fucking gay), and when it started to get too worn out I replaced it with a blue plaid bifold from American Eagle. It has a removable ID holder that has three slots for cards, which is nice if you don't want/need to carry around the whole wallet.
  22. It kind of matches the gray along the bottom of the car
  23. Lowes only has black but there's several in stock
