Julius is here today finishing up my car. Rocker panels and inside the doors/kick panels, etc.

Went outside to pull the cars in the garage and saw a very cool sunset. Crop of a Galaxy Note 5 Image: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/20150925_193648%20copy%20web_zpso84lnnuy.jpg

Hope to grab a cup early but I'm always 50/50 on if I'll show. I love my sleep on the weekends.

I run an 8TB WD Mycloud (which uses their Red hard drives) combined it with Carbonite Online Back up and storage. Fast, redundant a couple times over and both on-site and virtual. I go even further by keeping a monthly backup off-site at the bank. You can allocate passwords, shares, etc so your clients can only see and get two what you want them too. It's fairly robust and literally plug and play. I use it all the time remotely to get to my stuff when I travel. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-my-cloud-ex2100-8tb-2-bay-external-network-storage-nas-black/4220118.p?id=1219708514194&skuId=4220118 Zero issues. Knock on wood.

This creepy creature has been living outside our front door off the porch for a week. Can't really get a good pic of it with a real camera let alone my phone as it's over some shrubs and stuff but this is a weird looking dude. Has a big ass with spikes on it. Cell Phone Shot: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/20150923_121808_zpsi6iy4q1r.jpg Awaiting Christian our resident entomologist and bug expert to chime in. Until then, it's name is spike.

Spiders outside I'm fine with. What freaks me out is on the rare occasion when I'm on the shitter and one comes crawling on the floor. FUCK!!!! I hate that!

Total comp at 100% of plan is $150-$165k. It has been running at 105-107% this year with no one in it. This territory will easily pull down $150-175k next year. I run a great team. Even one of my inside reps made $130k last year. I need the right person so if you know anyone, please funnel them my way. They will thank you for it.

Still images from 4k video from great little camera

thanks for posting them up. Here are a couple more I pulled from some vids that I'm going through. The first one was cool as it made capturing the water stream as easy as could be. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1000182%20capture%20copy%20web_zpsrmcqtxmd.jpg The second one is a heavy crop from the video as well. Very cool to have just been able to set the camera down on our dinner table, let it go shooting video as we all watched and then to be able to pull stills at a rate of equiv. of 30fps out of it. While this is not a mirrorless camera, many do have this capability and it is one of the reasons why I say the days of Mirrorless are coming fast and the days of SLR's are limited. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1010195%20capture%20copy%20web_zpssx5xu1vn.jpg -

I'd have to read through the specs honestly. I'm hardly a video novice even but what was cool is that it did a great job in pure Auto/Newb/dumbass mode which is what I used -
I know. Long Island is fun though. NYC right there, Water, Sun, Snow and Suburban life too. It's really got it all. I have money on the NY Rep being my rep of the year next year. I just know they will do well.

It does do quite well. I love technology and how far we've come over time on a lot of things. My only hope down the road is the 4k video quality will encompass more dynamic range for still captures. There's a marked clipping of shadows on images on the left of a histogram. The good news is however, not so much on the left so blown highlights aren't an issue. I've not dug deep into the meter modes or compensations for video much though. I'm playing around with my Note 5 and the new camera there and can say the same thing. This is the first time I can honestly say that from a dynamic range and IQ standpoint that I've been impressed with a camera phone. -

$750'ish. Very easy to use. Yet it has some pretty nice features for even an experienced photog used to pro-gear. Here's one of many good reviews of it. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonic-lumix-dmc-fz1000 Here's still image my son took with it. It's a crop from it's original 20mp image too. Click on the images and go to the full size (cropped for web use) but still, so you can see the larger size. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1000791%20copy%20web_zps6cmamleh.jpg Another of my son while on vacation: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1000589%20copy%20web_zps2mm7tkwk.jpg -
For those that know me, I love cameras and have tons. One little gem I picked up for a recent vacation is the Panasonic FZ-1000. I can't say enough about it and it's capabilities. Image quality is very good and the focus speed is outstanding even when challenged with moving subject. However, one thing that I was intrigued by and thought I would try out as I comb through some video I took with it, is the capture of still images from the 4k video. You do lose some dynamic range and detail but overall, I'm very impressed and while I hardly ever print any more, these shots would be more than find for 4x6 or 5x7 sizes. The following two examples are heavy crops from that 8mp extracted image too. Thought I would share in case anyone was ever curious as to what can be done with a pretty decent bridge camera....even when extracting images from video shot. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1000597%20capture%20copy%20web_zpspqnotsai.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/P1000788%20photo%20capture%20web_zpspvsesoza.jpg

I know it's a stretch but CR has been a great source of a lot of things and not just locally. I am hiring two Outside Field Sales positions in the Medical Device and Services market whereby they will be calling on doctors. Great opportunities, great company, awesome culture and just plain lots of growth here so I need to continue expanding. MI Can be located anywhere from Detroit over to the west coast. NY I'd like them to be on Long Island or in the borrows. Both positions are mid 60's base (commensurate with experience) with a variable and bonus structure taking them to about $120k. There's a $2k per month car allowance and then both profit sharing and annual bonuses which we've not missed in the last 12yrs. No one can touch the greatness of our health plan and it has a zero cost premium. That puts total comp at about $150-$165k at plan. I need qualified sales candidates that are polished and well spoken and of course computer savvy. Preference towards optical or medical sales. I will consider candidates without a degree if they are the right performer. SERIOUS inquiries and candidates only please. PM me here on CR or hit my cell if you have the number. Thanks! Tim

Not soon enough. May replace our Urban Assault vehicle (minivan) with an SQ5 and slap an APR Tune on it to make it more fun. No SRT but it will scoot. Wife drove one this weekend and smiled.

Buying vehicle in west virginia - title process
TTQ B4U replied to Slimpsy1647545505's topic in Passing Lane
I just brought the entire packet of papers from when I bought the car. They needed to verify sales tax paid, etc. Call me silly but I just brought one folder, cash and a bottle of water and Angry Birds for when I was in line. -
Buying vehicle in west virginia - title process
TTQ B4U replied to Slimpsy1647545505's topic in Passing Lane
I took all my paperwork to the BMV here in Columbus and they took care of everything. Took a couple weeks for my title to arrive. They charged me like $19 to apply for it but saved me from running around doing it so I didn't care. They did the inspection too. -
Give it the storm trooper look, join UBER and shuffle CR peeps around on the weekends. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/StormtrooperDodge_summary.jpg
