In the end, making things more difficult without producing results is a waste of resources and interfering with the rights to legitimate users to not effectively protect the few is not the solution. The real problem is that our legal system is fucked up and protects those that are a menace to society as much if not more than those that are law abiding productive and contributing members of society. Why the fuck we let rapists, murderers, and other wastes of breathable air out of jail or continue to live is a moral argument that our society is afraid to face or the liberals will argue until they are the next victim. We can eliminate many of the repeat offenders in this world, we just choose not to for one reason or another. With that we accept what happens. But I'm off topic. In the case of this loon, he died trying to play the racism victim card to defend his actions. He was clearly a nut job and you don't fix it by wasting resources on trying to prevent him from doing his intended deed by going after the hardware, you go after him and others like him.

Making something more difficult while not fixing the problem is simply making something more difficult. It comes no where near close to a valuable fix. See my point above. I don't like investing time, money and other resources into things that don't produce measurable results.

I agree with your last point but the first point if you're looking to "strengthen" gun laws, I don't agree with. Not unless you can assure everyone that you can fix stupid people or prevent bad guys like him from getting a gun period. You can't really do either so what's the point? If I'm mentally ill on meds, etc. and I want to get a gun, no law that restricts access is going to stop me. So if it's not going to work, then why do it...

Love the performance and while I don't normally agree with Consumer Reports, they are spot on with the comment about the interior. Insane Mode is cool but an RS7 with an APR Tune is 2x better all around for the same money. Mid 10's at over 130mph...that's insane for the car doing it. Waiting on Kirk to flash his.

Good to know/recall for dog boarding when we might need it. We used to take our dogs there many years ago and IIRC I know Todd from back then too. No sure why we moved our Vet care elsewhere. I'm getting old.

^^ sounds like you nailed it Joe. there's been no release on how many times each person was shot but my guess is he ended up putting several in them once they were down. I was surprised at how many shots he took for just three people.

WOW! Saw this light up the news this morning and am amazed at the insanity that walks among us. It was about as cold of a killing I've seen/heard outside a movie. Is there a software/flash update available through GM? My car has a simliar setup in the glove box and even though it's a 2014, there was a free update from the dealer that they applied to insure it works with the latest gear.

Clay I've had no luck at all trying to use them with any amount of clarity or happiness. They all suck. Our 2007 minivan has a single CD and no input on the front similar to your situation. As Joe noted, a good solid aftermarket might be the way to go. I'm going to look at that route or the adaption of a hard-wire connection in some way as I think we're going to keep it for another couple years.

They would likely low-ball him on the trade since he'd have driven 8hrs to do the deal and drove all that way. When I traded the MS3 we agreed on all the numbers ahead of time. Not as easy to do for him given he's noted a few issues including some cosmetic ones that the could bitch about.

Wife is away with the minivan that threw a check engine light. Took it to Napa and they showed a P0463 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit code reading a HIgh Input. Basically it seems to just be a fuel level gauge issue which explains her console MPG Computer thing not working correctly. Well likely need to replace the fuel pump to get it fixed but that's when she gets back home. Car runs great, etc but she's a good 10hr drive away. Just wanting insight on driving with this code. Hopefully will correct itself after a couple starts. She did not have them clear the code or light just check it. Started it after filling up to insure all was good and it seems to read full and a correct est. of distance to go. She did let it go below 1/4 tank which is where seems to be the most issues are noticed when popping up if that means anything. Thanks for the input. If the consencous is she's goot to drive it I'll just have her fill up every 250 miles or so to be safe.
