  1. I guess I fall into the category of middle aged fans that remember his broadcasting. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/pro-football-hall-of-famer-frank-gifford-dies-at-age-84-191923777.html
  2. I heard white is the fastest color for them.
  3. Plant shit http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/fe/79/2a/fe792aa00cb21418287ce99cc788fc55.jpg
  4. I'd wouldn't ever put the top up. But then I did that on my S2000 and it had to be replaced before I sold it
  5. ^^ Those are alone are great. Especially the cooled seats given the drop top and color.
  6. Watching it now. Good flick so far.
  7. Ben driving to work this winter:
  8. Yep. I checked, it's still just the standard select-shift six-speed auto gearbox. They at least added rev matching though. Does the manual have rev matching now too?
  9. DSG or just a auto-stick slush box? I had that in the Fusion. Was good for holding gear but compared to a real DSG.....no comparison.
  10. Yes sir. I thought the 255/35/19's were hefty. Sounds like you'll be shopping for a winter set up now I got lucky and found a set of Blizzak LM-32's from a guy in Cleveland that were in 9/10 condition for like $700. Now I just have to get those other wheels from Derek.
  11. Damn Ben!!! If you don't go play the lotto right now you're banned for life. THAT'S a HOT looking car for sure. I really like the new styling. Those wheels are sharp.
  12. Both look good. My Fusion was that color and it was called Red Candy Metallic on it. Was like an Extra $500 or something.....not sure why. Any pics of your car need sound clips attached.
  13. Congrats man. One step and a time. Save up, invest (especially with your wife and her 401k, etc.) and keep going. Remember the ups and downs come and go with everyone. Glad you're back on your way up. Get prepared and the next cycle won't likely even impact you. At that point they just become part of life that you navigate through vs getting pushed around by them.
  14. I have a Note 3 and have the itch and am going to wait. It's only a week man, why not wait.
  15. I didn't until today when I talked with Shrek to as a side note and to clarify. The one I worked with didn't fit the description of Eric S. Came here to post back/edit and clarify as I left my note fairly open but it was scrubbed already.
  16. Yes. People suck. Wasn't bad at all though. Looked like a door was rested against mine while open and it left a very very light 2" crease/shadow that could be seen but not felt. John walked over, slid a tool down the window and "ping" it popped right out. 100% fine now though. Took him longer to pull the car around in the garage than to fix it. Quickest money I've seen made. I never cruised the sticky thread in the vendor area until Ant. mentioned it or else I would have tried him. Hey, our urban assult van has about 8 or 10 that need popped out so there's another need in the future. Right now I call them battle wounds and after all it's a van.
  17. why do you have to encourage all the children out there......
  18. Translation: CR Members, especially the original guys, are getting older, have gray hair, many have kids and most are a wee-bit wiser now than they used to be. And they likely have Low-T and don't realize it thus they don't fight as much.
  19. Fair enough and you're likely right about lots of threads going to crap. Been there seen that in my own threads. The good news is everyone gains a little bit more clarity on who is worth knowing and who isn't. The last part.......all of us own and can fix. I've seen it here and elsewhere that it usually works itself out. Kinda like a stiff neck, the pains usually go away over time. Hey, I am working....just trolling at the same time Dis-inhibition is strong among message boards. I believe it's actually a serious problem for our entire society today. That's for a more serious thread with Doc and Tilly involved at some point. True CR is hard on newbs. Always has been as far as I go back. That's why the oven and kitchen threads are always pretty deep. Rightfully so though as even in my short time here, I've seen many worthless people come and go and if it wasn't for being hard on them, they'd still be here. Time usually heals all wounds and the more you get to know folks here the better it gets. You know some key people and they think highly of you so FWIW know that you're a pot stirring ass with a few friends anyway That in itself means you fit right in with the rest of CR
  20. I didn't know ....but Fredericktown sounds pretty far away too. Is he mobile?
  21. Okay, so it’s not necessarily a douche-bag motel; it has some value, good people and the advice is solid. I would agree and honestly, those are very true points, especially the last one. I would disagree that you have to wade through a “tremendous amount of shit to do it.” Are there threads full of crap, yes; but you learn quickly that the advice isn’t there and usually the cool kids and value aren’t either. Take those for what their worth, entertainment. Really, most of those threads are just that too. Even the “douche-bags” in those threads are good guys but there to stir the pot. Even you do that and don’t deny it You have thick skin, I know that just by reading your posts and seeing who you are here. Yes, you're an asshole at times and so am I. Who cares? It's CR, take it as a compliment.
  22. Serious question. Given your opinion of the site and so many members, why are you here, continue to stay and post? Why not just exit and close this chapter of your online life?
  23. John is to Paintless Dent Removal as Derek is to anything Tire Related. Thumbs up to John who works near me at Dent Magic on Sawmill for fixing up a door ding in about 3 minutes. 100% perfect. If you need PDR service, just go see him and end your issues. 614-717-3368 is the store number.
