  1. The "line" for me is what is legally allowed. If I am legally allowed to discharge a shotgun, I'm good with that and birdshot. If the law allows for the firing of a .22 cal. pellet rifle, I'm good with that too. Using both safely and responsibly in general context is understandable and assumed in my argument. Thus I'm not shooting towards my neighbors house in either case if I'm allowed do so.
  2. That's fair. Again, I wouldn't be shooting it with a shotgun.
  3. Meh.....Completely see your point, but we all have been there done that in many cases where the cops and others don't do shit or what they do invoke is ineffective and wastes time. If a drone is hovering in my backyard and four fuck heads in a truck are piloting it and not my neighbors 15yr old or it's not my neighbor from within the area that I know then sorry but that bitch is coming down in a creative way. I wouldn't fire a shotgun in Dublin, but I'm not sure where this guy lives. Could be someplace like Johnstown for all I know. However, no psychiatric help is needed for wanting to stop a peeping Tom.
  4. I wouldn't expect you shoot a peeping Tom but if someone sets up a video camera and it's in my property space, on the ground or in a tree, I'm going to destroy that device and have very little fucks given. If the owner wants to accuse me of something, that's completely fine, I don't have to prove I didn't do something. Have your people call my people when you feel you have something.
  5. Sounds like if this happens and someone accuses me of shooting a drone down that I'd await to see their evidence before I comment through my attorney as anytime a firearm is involved in the discussion, I'm not going to discuss much. Way too serious of a matter. Otherwise, I really wouldn't have anything to say or legal need to answer any questions. If I lasso that mofo because it was trespassing on my property, I still am not going to give too many fucks about your lost toy. Again, produce some evidence that I personally took it, outside an accusation, and we'll see where it goes. Again, I'd direct you to my attorney though. Overall, have a nice day drone operators.
  6. Would you do what this guy did? Not sure in the burb's if I'd discharge even bird-shot, but I have a .22 cal pellet rifle that I could fire towards the field behind me and not worry if I missed. Although bird-shot is likely safer in reality. Depending on how high it was I usually have a couple fishing rods in my garage I could likely get snagged up on it too and once I capture it, would it then be mine? I like this guy a lot. Discuss. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/kentucky-man-shoots-down-drone-hovering-over-his-backyard/ar-AAdGg2x?ocid=U220DHP
  7. Anytime man. I'll be at my Easton office from. 11:30 onward. It's hardly noticeable outside the very slight MBZ blu-ish look to it. Inside however it makes a big difference when parked out in the heat of summer.
  8. Kudos to you for never attracting the attention of a cop. With my luck I'd get some dickhead cop from Cinci pull me over and shoot me in the head. That said, I have to live with 15% on Rear, 35% on Back, 50% on Fronts and 70% on windshield.
  9. Any cell phone today is pretty much a replacement for a lower end point and shoot (P&S.) There are 2-3 really good higher end P&S cameras out there worth the coin they are asking but the rest can be replaced by your Note 4. The details are there but it lacks dynamic range and the pixels overall don't react well to editing. Focus on composition and the path the eye follow. Tell a story with simplicity and good lighting. Yes, you could but most cameras today are leaning towards offering decent video capabilities so you end up paying for them regardless. Okay. You'll have that capability. There are some really good lenses that can cover the ground you're looking to shoot. The key here is lighting. Don't stress too much. I set up a lot of such shots with good lighting and have taken many with a simple P&S even. We can look at some examples of your shots and walk through what the issues might be. DSLR's aren't on the way out just yet but the door is open and the market has spoken. Nikon and Canon are both developing their solutions with Nikon likely going to make the first real move with the support of Sony. Either will work well for what your shooting today. I only mention it to stir the pot. I've worked for Panasonic, Canon and Kodak in my day so I see the shift coming more clearly in my mind. Anytime. The main reason I followed the Sony lead posted (ironic as I'm a Canon guy) is because the technology and camera is top notch, costs are in your reach and the skills and knowledge using them will be the same as a DSLR. Size is very reasonable for you too. If you ever want to meet up for coffee and cameras, that's easy to do. I love chatting about both and used to do a fair amount of photography instruction.
  10. camera. ^^ Great suggestion, especially for a newbie into the hobby. Lots of flexibility yet awesome training wheels where and when needed. Can be had with some basic lenses for the cheap too. Honestly, I'd recommended an entry level DSLR but costs might be a bit more and the way things are progressing mirrorless is likely going to take over the main-stay soon. My current Canon's will very likely be my last DSLR's.
  11. Congrats Brian. The writing and photography just keeps getting better and better. Glad to see it all paying off like this. Cool stuff.

    New guy

Very clean and looks well done. Timeless design IMO.
  13. Finally got around to taking a pic: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/OY6A3325%20copy%20web_zpsbv8nxjvp.jpg
  14. Leaving this here as I love this episode....and so will you BMW E46 M3 vs. Ford Fiesta ST:
  15. Looks good! What size tires. I have the 205/50/17 Blizzak LM25's from my Speed 3 still. I bought them locally at Discount Tire and they have maybe 7,000 miles on them total if that. They are in excellent shape. Like velcro in winter.
  16. I have a text out to a friend who's husband manages a very well known hot-spot at Easton. He's cool and good people. Stay tuned....you'll have a PM Shortly. Update: You have a PM.
  17. Very cool. I texted Anthony in case you're with him now. Would like to swing by and pick it up today if it works. You can text me if you wish. 614-795-4907
  18. Before I regret buying something expensive at the store, does anyone here have a small set up that I can buy for my daughter who has found and wants to try and raise four small tree frogs? Even if you have one that you want to just loan me for the summer I'll gladly take great care of it. Of course I'll buy something you don't want any more. Thanks in advance. Tim 614-795-4907 cell if you wish to text me
  19. Really? That's still the case? It's a fucking car and they are a car dealer. Guess I'd never buy one then. I'd flat-out say thanks and goodbye.
  20. Derek gets my vote as the most highly regarded and reputable vendor across all of the message boards I'm on.
  21. Dublin. If you want I can go look over any of their cars for you as I live around the corner from them in the Brookside Woods area.
  22. Love it. Yes, it's a 2014 that I picked up with only 8,500 miles on it. I added the APR tunes the day I bought it and wouldn't have it any other way. Stage 2+ includes the pulley, tune and DSG Tune. Completely different car now. To Aarons point get the sport differential. I drove with and without side by side through the 315/270 cloverleaf and it's noticeably more fun. Mines's a Premium Plus with all the goodies. Phantom Black | APR Stage 2 & APR TCU Tunes | Technology Package | Bang & Olufsen | Sports Differential | Adaptive Damping Suspension | Nappa Leather | 19" Peelers
  23. Jon Haskins is a great guy and works over at Byers. I've worked with him before on both my Speed 3 and on a minivan for the family. He started off and still manages their internet sales area. Give him a call/email. jhaskins@byersauto.com or 614-923-4507
  24. S3 would be a fun smaller version. APR has some really big upgrades for both the S3 and R that IMO would make either one of the most fun sleepers on the road today.
  25. :ninja: He said you didn't want to come over when he was doing the clear bra because you didn't have a car to drive in the rain :marc: I have to get with him about the leftover carbon fiber before you do your bathroom trim in it and use it all.
