  1. Sounds awesome! Needs rolling launch sound clip now.
  2. Talk with them about surge protection and filters for noise too. Again, hate to add to costs, but your wife can really "sell" that if/when you move. I've had several people look at our set ups both upstairs and in the lower level true theater area and were completely sold on how we did it right. those details are what really help.
  3. Nice! I really liked the SR you were shooting so if it's the same, then I've found my next 9mm Would love to take you up on the offer if Frank is open to it too. I may be taking Friday off work and of course will need to work around the holiday, but I'm game. Cash in hand of course. I got my 1,000 rounds of 9mm and have several boxes for the AR. Still yet to order those though.
  4. Solid interest at $350 but am at a school function today. I wouldn't mind seeing it to judge condition, etc. PM Where you're located so we can get together perhaps late day. Joe and others can back up my keeping my word though. 614-795-4907 cell if you prefer to text.
  5. I would run more than one HDMI and perhaps even an optical or two. HDMI is the way to go and our set up for example has HDMI for the Cable, Roku, BlueRay and I have two extras for just in case things. I also have two opticals and two digital Coax....but I overkill everything and had it done years ago. The Key Casey is to have them use PVC piping as a conduet so that you can litterall fish additional or replacement wires through the wall from the TV area to the Theater control or receiver area with ease. That's how I've added additional HDMI Support and newer HDMI wiring too. Not all HDMI's are the same. Spend the money and get the good stuff with plenty of silver in the lines. I went from Plasma to LED and LED is way more sensitive IQ Wise. Setting up the piping will involve cutting some studs and may add more cost but you'll thank me down the road. I did it with all our wiring. That's how I added a second sub to the upstairs set up. Did it with ease too. All really depends on what you have being driven and set up in that room. Think future proofing though.
  6. Buy my MS3 so I can go get my Turbo Sky or something else
  7. In a car like this, I'd go for an auto. Not worth the "connected" feel IMO. Auto's are way faster, easier in the city/bullshit drive of a commute and with 8 speeds, there's plenty of driver input available.
  8. Cool car, love the styling and performance but they will price it so damn high just like the competing cars that it will just be another high priced sold by the pound low production fat pig of a car that a select few will enjoy and others won't likely give a shit about because it won't makes sense. Love it though.
  9. ^^ this. I'm very picky and would stay away all together. Cats/Cat piss and ANY type of issue in a basement will cause me to walk. Water problems are nothing at all that I'd want to risk or play around with. Too many other homes on the market to settle.
  10. Jeffro, the beauty of a smoker like this along with a quality thermometer is that there is no time spent. Set it and forget it. It's a great way to compliment yard work. My thermometer will notify me if the temp of the smoker goes beyond a range that I tell it to keep and it also monitors the internal temp of the meat and does the same, so I know when it's done.
  11. LOL at the plate in the background. Had to chime in with this
  12. Link from original post not working....FYI.
  13. Haha! That's how I feel really. I've put off buying one for years now and I don't know why. Now I'm addicted. My son is a picky eater but if you put it on the grill or in a smoker he'll eat like beast.
  14. This time some Chicken Quarters and Boneless Chicken Breasts. 2.5hrs to perfection. Added some Corn on the cob, Baked Beans and a good beer. YUM! http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Masterbuilt%20Smoker/20140517_163913copyweb_zps7152fef6.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Masterbuilt%20Smoker/20140517_163920copyweb_zpsfe9ab0aa.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Masterbuilt%20Smoker/20140517_163923copyweb_zps63ad3537.jpg Started to rain lightly and temps started to drop, but I wasn't going to let that stop me. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Masterbuilt%20Smoker/IMG_5093copyweb_zpse3cb5307.jpg
  15. Both are preliminary quick edits to get a baseline of what people are looking for. First example is a trio from Original Tarnished image to B&W to Sepia/Toned http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/155687527/original.jpg The other is an example using a refined DeCrack Action developed for photoshop and what the capabilities of this action are on older images. Most impactful on images like this where back in the day photos were clear-coated to prevent from fading. Unfortunately that coating cracks over time. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/155686419/original.jpg
  16. He did and I'm sure I have some of the pics but haven't gone through them all. One time he caught a fish, dropped it and another bird swooped in and took it. I'm bummed I didn't catch that shot. Yes/No. All very nice gear but nothing new. These were done with my trusty Canon 40D, now 7-8yrs old and a Canon 100-400L that's nearly 15yrs old Thanks for the kind words.
  17. If I could morph into anything, it would be one of these. Hoover Dam area is a pretty nice place to call home too. Enjoy. Even as a rapter, I'd enjoy going for a cruise http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Wildlife/BIFweb_zps76d9b414.jpg Meal Time would be a little different http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Wildlife/WaterGrabWeb_zpsef16589a.jpg Off the line like a race car http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/Wildlife/ScreamingEagleWeb_zps65d66178.jpg
  18. I LOL'd when I saw that comment too. GTR = Rich....really? Two kids in a decent daycare cost more per month than a 2014 GTR would. Must be a shit-ton of rich people in my neighborhood.
  19. part of it has to do with the gov't having made loans so readily available thus supplying a bunch of kids with the ability to pay...thus colleges simply raise tuition....fuck why not, there's plenty of supply thus prices must not be high enough. If they shut off the faucet of money then the supply will drop and prices will follow. I applaud the interest but a key in our society is to also balance out potential income vs what the costs are. I know they are looking at limiting funds being made available based on potential income of the jobs targeted. This will help too as there are too many people going for masters in art or philosophy racking up tons of debt only towards jobs that won't allow them to pay off said debt. ^^ that's the way to do it. My wife had over $90k in student loans from Captial Law and we paid them off over the course of several year just by making it a priority to do so. Her income then went straight to investments.
  20. /end this thread. Buy this. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117773
