  1. Invest it. It's been killing me not to pull the trigger on a new car or house, etc. but peace of mind knowing if I lost my job I could care less keeps me from doing it. Even the thought of putting money in a car right now is blah to me when I really think about it as it does nothing but drop in value. Maybe it's a phase I'm in but I do know at some point, I'll have more really cool toys. Our next investment is a home for my mother in law. She's going to rent it from us. Ready for the jokes on that one.
  2. Little bit. I shoot Canons. 5DMKII, 1DMKII, 40D. Mainly corporate event photography and editing. 1DX is a great camera and tempting but not necessary for my work.
  3. Welcome. Nice hobby too I Miss my REV 2 9K Plate and my little S. It was a fun car.
  4. here's an option from a good seller. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115106
  5. congrats man! that's one big baby!!!
  6. I'm with you that it would seem to get old fast. I love having the ability to record 6 HD Shows at once and watching them anytime anywhere. No one in our house watches TV live any more. Not only can we blast through commercials, but do so on our time. I'm picky about Image Quality too. So far WOW's HD is damn nice, even on the large plasma's and projector screens. Way too easy to navigate through their Ultra TV Screens and menus too. We pay a bit more I'm sure, but it's worth it.
  7. Excellent pics Jeff. IQ and colors are fantastic and composition is great too. Look like a whole lot more fun that I've been having lately with Work and other things that are preventing me from getting out shooting.
  8. the above meets the requirements of an iPad. Especially if it's for someone that may not be computer savvy. On/Off, apps and easy to use. Just add in a nice keyboard like the various bluetooth Logitechs. Rarely use my PC to browse the net any more.
  9. Caddy SUV on test drive gets whacked. Guess she won't be buying that particular one.
  10. Good stuff. We use WOW Ultra TV and love it. Still cable of course but the phone has been with them for many years. Smart TV's in all but one room and there we use an iPad to stream to things. Good luck. Will love to hear the tips and tricks and how it all works out.
  11. That's an offer that can be put together. Find out from Dyno Brian what the costs might be to tune it. Put in the written offer that if it works out you'd simply deduct the costs of said tune from the asking price. It's not likely going to sell if it's broke.
  12. Threads like this never fail to deliver. CR is some funny shit.
  13. Nice pics! I've been busy with so dang much I'm not able to pick up a camera and get out much at all. Maybe soon.

  15. I think it's the guy who leaves his hood open with all the LED's going off under it and has a bad ass exhaust on a stock 3.5l V6. That's what I've heard anyway.
  16. Passed you on Hard Rd? Where it's two lanes or over towards Riverside or by Worthington High? Prolly drunk.
  17. Love that body style. Reliving my younger days for sure. New wheels look good too.
  18. I can't fap to this. Not enough hot chicks to warrant 13 minutes of time.....cliffs?

    Food talk

Life is about experiences and restaurants, especially the higher end ones know that. people typically like to be entertained and feel as if the total experience is about them. I personally dine out a lot, especially for business, but even with my wife, when we go out and pay $75-100 per person for a meal, I'm looking for more than just good food. I want the entire experience. Mileage will vary.
  20. Nice pick up! Love the Z's. My nieghbor won a black on black M Series like that from HP. I've only drove it a couple times but let's just say all the love I had for me long lost S2000 was long lost after those drives. Fun car and will be great come warm days.
  21. Depends on the camera. Many do offer the chance to shoot in shutter priority mode. However, there are often times limitations in how the results will turn out. Most of it depends on the camera sensor and metering ability. Go slow when doing rolling shots. Pace the cars together smoothly. This will allow for slower shutter speeds. The blurred background and motion of the car will be captured very effectively and overall shooting will be made easier. I'll have more insight when you return with camera information.
  22. Agree. Wife and I when she was working (she was self employed) were pretty close income levels and with Zero deductions on my end and her paying quarterly based on previous year and a little extra account for her earning more, we often still owed. Really all depends on what you make as a household. I agree with Kirk's statement earlier, that people's opinions on household income vary greatly. What one person considers doing well may be peanuts to others.
