  2. Fuck, there's a Bently in Heath
  3. liveleak it man :nws: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a6e_1316873330 Warning though.....it's bad....not as bad as the other one but hang on to you head.....
  4. Sleep now and remember that 2+2+3+1 is still 8 hours. :gabe:
  5. Congrats man! Seeing the above paragraph made me LOL Though :lolguy: The joys of being a parent. I'll say this, it will subside but never forget these things: It's now all about her, then your wife, then your dog, then the flowers, then you. Just note your place and the fact that the car isn't mentioned. The noise will subside for a bit, then it will change. In 3-5 years you will always have the sound of a chattering or crying little one somewhere in your home. However, it's all good. Congrats again. Welcome to parenting 101 newb :gabe:
  6. I like it and it's enhanced by him being an attention hog and center of attention. When you can drive like that and produce shit like that yoiu have a right to be bad ass and let the those that snipe just speak words that don't mean shit until they one up you at the game you started (these videos and marketing of the sport) Like draco said, he draws attention to it all and in reality that's worth more than the skills he has as a driver. I like this one better than 4 but for some reason I like his WRX work better. Cool seeing Ford in the mix, but I just prefer the Subaru mixes.
  7. watched it last night. good for a netflix instant. going to watch ip man tonight.
  8. looks like it but it's close. went to Kroger and thought it was going to rain but watching the radar time lapse the tail of rain that looked to hit my house dried up. sitting on front portch now enjoying a cool breeze and still waiting.
  9. I washed one of our vehicles and watered the front yard really good. Translation is this is a suburban rain dance coming to you from the NW burb so thank me when it rains tonight.
  10. fixed since its a Korean movie Keep in mind what you're seeing is a mid 1600's period piece too. Definitely not 2012 American Ninja stuff.
  11. I'm surprised the establishment didn't have a sign about firearms or nothing was said.
  12. Most all of those photos woud require 2-3 light sources to turn out correct and soften the shadows. If he didn't show with umbrellas a good studio lighting set up for these shots he was definitely unprepared. His equipment that was brought would suffice for action shots but not 95% of what I would shoot in a studio. Also, his flag and white backdrop.....are you fucking kidding me? No way he could have even used those for home use and expected someone not to say WTF?

  14. I smell a sale about to happen :fa:

  16. I don't find too many movies on the instant list worth more than a late night time killer, but if you're interested in a keeper, IMO, War of the Arrows is it. Set during the second Manchu invasion of Korea, a brother goes all out in terms of archery skills to get revent against the Qing Dynasty to save his younger sister who was dragged away by Mongolian invaders. If you're a fan of kick ass archery you'll like this flick. It's a fast paced action movie that while I hate subtitles, in this case I completley didn't mind them. In fact to watch this dubbed would suck balls so don't do it if you get the DVD. The acting is good and the story line will keep you glued to the screen for the full 2hrs. There is one scene involving a tiger that includes some less-than-stellar CGI effects, but I can forgive that as the camera action and battles are very well done. The action scenes which build throughout are punctuated with quieter scenes that help relieve the tension. I'll say it one more time, this movie is fast paced, exciting, engrossing and decently acted. There was a real satisfaction towards the end of the film. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a Netflix instant film nearly this much.
  17. here's my attempt to crop it from my iPad http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/993d561f.jpg Lame iPad attempt to have fun with it. http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/ea8dff1e.jpg
  18. she is not at all atractive other than she has ans ass and a pussy. still wouldnt touch it.
  19. I can't see the exif of the image, but as others have said a tripod would help. Shoot low ISO but with moving ships you do have to account for movement there so adjust shutter and conversly ISO appropriately. Given the shot and sun set, perhaps shoot this same scene when the colors are a bit higher in the sky. You did well framing the ship in the 1/3 section to the left, now just consider putting the horizon in the bottom 1/3. That would work for this image as you'll emphasize the colors in the sky and horizon. One could frame it the other way if you're looking to emphasize the forground such as a beach or something, but again, here I would move the horizon down a bit. Still a very usable image and one that can be corrected and printed in a number of ways. Here's are examples from the South Haven Area: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/100131525/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/100111884/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/100132030/original.jpg Another from Florida: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/114215160/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/114277858/original.jpg Hope that helps.
  20. I neg repped myself for reading this entire thread
  21. Great question but not one easily answered as many of mine are not ones I share here since they are for clients. However, here are some that I enjoyed taking and have posted on my public site. Perhaps one of my favorite shots and edits. I just love the soft warmth of images like this. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/128764175/original.jpg Just very simple shot edited with selective color. Taken with a 11+ year old P&S in a family flower garden. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/136123428/original.jpg Here is one from over the river near out home. I framed a 24x36 canvas print of this and had an artist overlay oil based paint for the realistic effect and had it hanging in my wife's law practice. It's now in our home office. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/34830583/original.jpg I spend most of my time throughout the year shooting team sports and events. I love on-site action work. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/134334120/original.jpg Lake Michigan on a warm summer night in July. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/100131525/original.jpg I can't claim much about my car other than it provides me with a fun experience vs a daily sedan. However, I do like some of the lines when captured close. B&W is something I have a soft spot for too. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/137558280/original.jpg I've always liked a more warm tone to images. This is one of our neighbor with a completely digital backdrop. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/130320812/original.jpg More of my favorite subject. This was taken on my first fathers day back in 2003. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/17883921/original.jpg There's nothing like the innocence of a newborn. Our daughter Sophia at 1 day old. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/57696817/original.jpg It's all about the eyes. If you nail it, you can sell it. This is studio shot of my daughter with a digital backdrop added. Yeah, I'm partial to the subject. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/129523069/original.jpg I love this one for the emotion and passion Nick exudes. He has a footprint on his shoulder and a clear focus and determination in his stride. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/134156412/original.jpg A favorite of mine from years ago. Our beloved Jasmine, RIP http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/33931529/original.jpg
  22. Yep. No need to change what works. My brother got it for my parents who to this day still use a perculator.
  23. No, the don't.. Fuck, we have a basic Braun Coffee maker with a gold filter from 1984 that still works to this day and brews better coffee than the newer POS's.
