  1. So a fellow member here brought his wife's lease over for a final refresh and clean up inside and out prior to turning it early next year. Overall it wasn't bad given it's mileage so kuddo's to him for keeping it nice. It had light swirls all over it but again, light. Main negative was the need to wet sand out about 8-10 areas on the hood and roof where tree-sap had etched into the clear coat. Not a big deal and something I put in as a bonus to his purchasing of this Basic Clean and Protect package. Probably the best value package I have to offer. Interior wise was the same service level offering available in a Basic Package. A Second upgrade was I ran two cycles from an Ozone Machine through it after cleaning up the interior to remove a light smoke odor. Outside looking new on the exterior, his wife made my day when she noted that it now smells new inside too Mother nature continued to pour down rain but the detail moved on. Killed any real good photo shots but here are a few of the end result. Thanks again to George for trusting in my work and I look forward to tackling those other rides soon. You're all set for next week and hopefully the weather will let me work outside.........as his first truck is too tall to fit in my garage This F-Sport model made it to the final round when my wife was shopping for a small SUV. Looks great in black I think! http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088181/original.jpg Paint cleaned up nicely. Tons of deposits stuck to the side panels made it feel like it had 5-O'Clock Shadow http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088182/original.jpg Paint came out great though. Here's the hood after sanding and polishing http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088180/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088184/original.jpg Wheels, Tires and Trim dressed and ready to go http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088183/original.jpg Rain didn't matter, I had to get a shot outside the garage http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088188/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168090799/original.jpg Ozone Machine at work http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168084502/original.jpg A peak inside http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168084500/original.jpg Like new Inside and Out http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088186/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168088187/original.jpg
  2. That's a crazy ass custom build job for sure. Skills that I admire. Props for being a clean car as most builds like this are POS's.
  3. Adding pics of our project now that we've been enjoying it for the past year+ View of kitchen and family room along with the staircase I redid. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168212063/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168212087/original.jpg Originally this area was behind our familiy room and designed to be a formal dining area. No thanks. Much like many, we use our eating area most and never a formal dining space. It has been everything from a play are for the kids to an office area and more. Instead we decided to make it a 15ft x 22ft kitchen area adding a new window and moving the door over a couple feet. The existing dining area seen in the distance of the second photo includes a 4 top round table that expands with 2 inserts to seat 8 comfortably and 10 with ease still just a little tighter. Counters are granite and quartz. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153986/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153989/original.jpg Kitchen Aid Pro Series are excellent and the addition of the Wolf Steam Oven was an awesome upgrade to add. Love it! http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153990/original.jpg The dual fuel stove has a non-stick griddle and also a large convection steam oven as well. The cabinet/desk to the right is a great work space for bills and a laptop, etc. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153987/original.jpg Dining area with wife's new office in the background http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153991/original.jpg We continued the color of the island and the barn door to the mud room into the half-bathroom that includes a nice Toto Washlet too. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153992/original.jpg Wifey wanted her own space so now she has it. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153993/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168153985/original.jpg
  4. Not sure....His name is John and is a friend of Eric's who owns the Midnight black M5 I did. He's on CR. John's number is 614-578-3288. He knows I'm putting a post up and that he may get some calls so you're good to do so. Car sounds great, runs smooth and handles....well.....great. He has some pretty wide meat on it. Square them off and it would likely handle better but the staggered look is nice though. My guess is he has about $5-6k in brakes and suspension/wheels. It's a Dual Clutch Car. Interior is really clean. 8/10 as it sits un-touched. Tim
  5. So a referral came to me after seeing a fellow CR Members car and asked that I simply detail his engine bay to help with the sale of his vehicle. Car is a 2009 with 90k+ on the clock and regularly tracked. Keeping it simple with a few before and after pics: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065042/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065038/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065039/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065041/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065040/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065056/original.jpg
  6. Degreaser, rinseless wash solution and air. I have a couple dressings I use once all is clean and dry. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  7. Agree. I really like it and miss having a big SUV for trips and even as a daily. This one is a keeper. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

  9. So the owner is putting his 2012 SUV up for sale and wanted a few things cleaned up. Overall, the vehicle was in good shape, especially inside. It did need a basic cleaning of all surfaces though. Carpets were spot cleaned. Engine bay wise it looked like it was just a typical 6 year old 75k mile vehicle so it too needed addressed. Lastly and of course, the outside needed my Basic Clean and Protect package. The goal of which is to not only thoroughly clean the paint but to remove light swirls and lesson any renaming imperfections. Overall the vehicle turned out great I think and the owners thoughts just from the pics he's seen agree. Here's what she looks like: Customer dropped the vehicle off on Friday thus I had plenty of time to begin working on her and getting the outside washed and fully decontaminated so polishing could begin in the morning. 10. Cleaning this up for a customer who has had it since new. It's a very clean vehicle with only 75k on the ODO. I give it an 8/10 as it sits before I touched it. IIRC he's looking for mid $20k and will be willing to put new tires on it. It's a great solution to a need I don't have or else I'd love to have it. I'm posting this as it's a great and very clean SUV and will be even better once I'm done with it I did the entire engine bay, interior and am now finishing up the outside. He has no kids so it really hasn't had much if any use outside the driver side. Happy to put anyone interested in contact with the owner. Vehicle will likely be stored at his airplane hanger at OSU Airport off Sawmill. I'll edit this post later today with contact information and exact asking price later today when I'm done with it and in contact with him. -tim BEFORE PIC: Here it's just washed. Full after pics coming later today http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168057241/original.jpg

  13. Raises hand and then will bring it back for that detail LOL, I'll have to see if I can prod my ass up to get there. I know another CR guy that may go if he's up to bringing out his new Turbo Wagon. He's more of lurker anymore though.
  14. You've probably seen the condensed version of this that's actually played on TV but here's the full clip that is a great way to start off the day

  16. Agree 200%. I don't give a shit what their policy is around this stuff, people need to keep personal stuff personal and if you're being abused called the cops don't text the wife of you boss. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  17. No secret. The anti Trump media does it too knowing he bites on everything they say. I'm confident Hannity talks and consults with him regularly as they have been buddies for a while. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  18. Everyone lies about it. If that's your bar for voting for someone than you are really limiting who you would vote for as most politicians dip their dingy in strange waters and hide it. He just has the ability to do it with money more so than most. They all use money and power to influence elections too. That's the who point of what is happening on both sides right now. I LOL about any comments about him trying to influence the election in his favor as he has opened his mouth and said more shit he shouldn't say than anyone and yet his give a fuck meter is at zero. First his haters said he was out to lose it purposely, then they said he was just out to blow up the system, then it was that he didn't even expect to win, now he is crooked and not only 'colluded' to win but was influencing everyone to win. If he pulled off the latter then he must secretly be the fucking Hoodinie Genius that every knows he isn't to have aligned the stars to make it all happen. It's amazing the theories being bounced around about how he pulled off a win. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  19. Do you really think his supporters didn't think he was banging porn stars and playmates or escorts? Or that they even care? It was years ago too so it's not like either of these relationships were even close to his being a candidate. Rich dude paying his tramps to stay quiet.....no surprise; no cares. I doubt a measurable number of his voters would have been "influenced" because they would have been shocked to know he cheated on his wife and paid extortion to keep a personal relationship personal. Cohen pleading to something like this in a lame attempt to try and tie things to Trump isn't shocking either. It's pretty clear that they are going after everyone they can with unrelated charges to try and squeeze them and if they need to they will have them plea out to other charges to try and tie it to Trump in some way or make him look bad.
  20. He'll likely say anything to stay out of jail. Not that he hasn't flipped his story or anything. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  21. I heard on Aug. 21, 1975, the first section of orange barrels were deployed for repairs and further expansion and have been there ever since.
  22. Two more shots before David took her home. http://www.pbase.com/image/167995339/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167995338/original.jpg
  23. Agree on the paint in terms of how it was layed down from both the factory and SLP. It did clean up nicely though. The few remaining scratches aren't a huge deal. David wants to get the front clip and rocker skirts re-done which will help as the front has some spider cracks where someone bumped the nose or sat on it at some point.
  24. So David here on CR Picked up a beautiful 2000 Firebird Firehawk with 90k+ on the ODO and has babied it like a true fanatic would. This is one of the cleanest 17 yr old cars that's been enjoyed through it's life that I've come across. He's even had it up and cleaned under it. That said, even clean cars need the swirls removed and their paint corrected to really shine. Add in a nice layer of ceramic coating and that beauty will last and shine nicely for years to come. From a budgetary standpoint we approached this with my Premium Enhancement Polish Service. For the protection he chose CarPro Cquartz v3.0 from the offerings I have. Other goodies were Full Glass Coating and restoration and Coating of the Trim/Cowling Area where the wipers/hood have taken a beating. I'll put up some better pics of that in the morning but it's solid black and like new once again and no more need to treat the wipers or cowling with anything for a while. As you can see in the following, the swirls were pretty bad. Light and not too deep but rampant throughout the paint. http://www.pbase.com/image/167991313/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991311/original.jpg Hood: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991312/original.jpg Notice the lower part of the rocker (top was polished) http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991314/original.jpg Once Polished the color and depth really shows through nicely http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991315/original.jpg Doors were both really bad too http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991316/original.jpg The weather today was bad so hopefully morning will bring some sunshine for pics that show off the results better. Until then, here are a few. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991317/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991323/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991321/original.jpg The Tail lights polished out extremely well too. No more swirls in the plastic. Now they really pop! http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991319/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991320/original.jpg Headers and a nice Corsa Exhaust really help make it sound as good as she looks. Video forthcoming. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991322/original.jpg Door Jambs and under the hood are as clean as when new http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991324/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991325/original.jpg Even the backside of the hood shines http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167991327/original.jpg
