  1. and I made my point that there's more to this equation than money and I gave you a real-world example of it that you and I have likely faced at work. The job analogy is pretty spot-on as we collectively as a country do need to do a far better job evaluating qualifications. We already know simply taking an asylum claim and letting them walk around our country is a bad and quite dumb thing to do.
  2. You tell me, you put those words out there not me. I simply answered your question earlier. All of that would have to be evaluated but I think it's pretty safe to make some assumptions here. I wouldn't say lazy either. Will encompasses much more than just willingness to put in effort.
  3. Nope. There's far more to it than the $$. Just ask anyone who works with someone not pulling their weight due to lack of skills or willingness to do so or many other related reasons.
  4. everyone is racist to some degree. in the case of the border, it's not about race, especially with Trump. no one cares about their race. I wouldn't want a 4k white people doing this shit either. In general, I feel people are tired of what's happening or really, what's NOT happening. there's no reason we should be getting over-run with illegal aliens. running from the fact that their country is an economic shit hole doesn't magically mean they can come live off our people....and yes, every one of them is going to be looking to live off the system. they aren't even bashful about telling the reporters down their when they ask them. there's a process to follow and they need to do just that. catch and retain is key vs catch and release.
  5. Quick follow up and shout out to John, Steve and Adam at the Discount Tire on 23N / Lewis Center. Took my car in for what was either and out of balance situation or a bad tire due to a minor pot-hole I grazed a while back. I absolutely believed in their skills road forcing it and all the tires came in spot-on. That said, I still heard and audible noise from one of the tires and they confirmed that it wouldn't always be detected on the balancer. I started by replacing what we believed was the tire but no-go. Replaced the second one and apparently that was it. Tires did not come from them but I agreed to buy the warranty and lifetime balance for what was a more than fair price. In return, they exercised that warranty upon my next visit. Props! Rolling smooth again.
  6. spot-on. it's laughable at times and completely sad to watch the body language of them on shows where there are most typically 5-8 people sitting around listening to one whack job make their point. The media has given Trump the biggest platform for his most widely viewed reality TV Show. That's exactly what he thrives off of too.
  7. They absolutely are the enemy of nearly half of our people. call it stoking the fire which puts a negative slant on it but I call it well justified and overdue. The media has brought this upon themselves. They are absolutely beside themselves that they are no longer in as much control as they used to be and pissed off to no end that he comes at them like he does. LOL that they don't know how to react to his baiting and trolling of them either.
  8. CNN Folks have spewed that white-man crap for months if not longer. Ever since the election and the whole "white-lash" dumb ass comment I've seen it over and over from them. I LOL as they usually have some old white dude on screen next to them when they say it too and they just sit there. Don's comment had Chris Cuomo on when he said it. Zero credibility and complete dicks IMO. Remarks like that don't put a racial divide in me but it absolutely firms-up the divide about the person who said it and the network as a whole. I don't think I've ever heard nuetral or positive story about Trump or his doings on CNN. Trump is 100% that the media for the most part is against him. Even the Wash. Post headlines about the shooter last week had a Trump slant to it by putting his name in the headline vs nothing when similar instances happened to others in the past. There is no un-biased news. We're on our own.
  9. Agree. I'd rather see them do what Acura, MBZ and Infiniti and others are doing in that they are supplementing the power of their petrol engines with the added performance of electric. Give me an SS with 480hp gas and another 120hp and GOBS more Torque on-tap from an instant-on electric boost and that would be fun as hell.
  10. Talk to Tim or Kevin over at Dublin's Performance Auto Spa. No, not cheap but they did a great job with Pinnacle's Ceramic on my Audi and now on my Q50. Top of the line stuff and turned out perfect. Really helps cut out the heat. They are right around the corner from Lucore.
  11. I went back yesterday and they road forced balanced them finding 3 were good one needed to be rotated on the rim and now they are all within solid specs and smooth. However, the noise/shimmy still exists so I am having them bring in two new tires and we'll start by replacing one of them on the rear of the car as I suspect it's the passenger rear tire. The noise/sound I'm hearing indicates to me it's a tire and it became noticable after the rotation putting it on the back vs front. The car has completely electric steering so when it's on the front I don't notice it. I watch the sun visor shimmy and hear the sound. Now that it's on the back I can feel it in my butt and on the headrest of the passenger seat. PIA for sure but welcome to Ohio roads
  12. Good to hear they fixed you up. Im here now getting mine done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  13. It's just CR Guys......let's leave the crazy shit to the knuckleheads making news today.
  14. I'm interpreting his view but my opinion is that these people need to be contained and not released into the general population. Not in cages but in camps for sure and the cost of that shouldn't be funded entirely by the US. Again, limits on the numbers and costs need to be held to and enforced. If that means changing laws to turn people away or prevent them from entering then so be it. I don't support just because someone makes it to our land that they all of a sudden are guaranteed to be cared for. They should be brought back to the border and told to start walking just as they did when they came in.
  15. He's both right & wrong. Every individual is different. Some will be dependent others will aspire to do better and become great. Key with any of these programs is to provide support but not forever and perhaps not at the same rate for the entire period of time. People do have to crawl and walk before they can run. I also think there needs to be both a financial and time limit to do so. Without a time-frame and goal there really can't be a plan. Weave in a some pay-back contribution where needed and applicable too. That said, what charities and the open market chooses to do is really on them. I don't see a need for the Fed. Gov't to micromanage this area of society.
  16. I'm all for feeding ducks but use your own bread or bread donated by like-minds. I have no interest in seeing my tax dollars wasted and in many cases we don't need the Federal Gov't involved at all.
  17. I realize we as a society are going to have social programs but I'm NOT for spending it on people simply crashing into our borders illegally. True that I'm not a fan of creating more and more and simply pushing hand-outs without some type of re-contribution or earned benefits. Nothing is free. Gov't doesn't need to really be involved in most. Let churches, charities and the public at large fund these programs through self-selection.
  18. Pics of the caravan are similar to the pics of the many homeless tent cities that litter California. When faced with which group of people to help the US should focus on our people first and most and all that's needed to get them taken care of. 70k deaths due to drug O.D's last year is pretty shocking thus plenty of areas to spend money on right here with our own citizens. Again, we're not the worlds shelter for any stray cat in need. I agree immigration laws and caps on numbers for all kinds of immigration need to be strictly enforced. No more catch and release bullshit. I agree.
  19. In the New America winnings will be divided among everyone including illegals. That said, in have $20 on each and if I win I'll buy Kerry a used 911 and sponsor a track day for all. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  20. Political bullshit Trumps Due Process. Whoever thinks believing all accusers outright is a dumbass. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  21. Pulling down 467Mbs and getting 27Mbs up. Not bad for $64mo. Happy camper today.
  22. Must be that time of year. Even 2018's have issues. Taking my car in for service due to what could be the alternator or some type of parasitic drain as the batt. went dead in 1 day out of the blue. Good luck on resolving yours.
  23. I tried the WOW Upgrade to 100mb from our current 60mb but they gave me a hard time, etc. and went through the BS pitches and reason why they couldn't, etc. but I didn't really push as I was leaving anyway but it really just a nail in the coffin. They didn't give a crap until I called them to set up the cancellation. Even then they never "offered" anything. Spectrum has been bugging us for over a year and bent over to get us up and running with them. I put them off a week but they were ready to install us the next day.
