  1. Can't wait to watch this in coming days. Clips are awesome. This one is fairly appropriate. ffwd to 2:15
  2. Damn I love that car! Welcome. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  3. It's up to each of us to work with our kids and explain things more thoroughly than some of what they are being taught in school. So far our kids have been in pretty good shape as Dublin Schools aren't as polluted as others but we've also ensured they aren't brainwashed. Good news is most of the kids and parents in my sons high school class seem to be on the same page and the kids themselves have formed discussion groups to help combat the bullshit. Very cool.
  4. Agree. Hilary must have stepped in and shown Bill that if you let them in they will have kids and those kids will likely vote for you.
  5. meh....perhaps that's what he said but what he meant is likely different. no thanks on going back to read it. just not in the mood today again, perhaps, but I've had enough conversations with people to know that what gets typed on CR is often different from what their true views are when engaged in a conversation. I'll let him clarify as you're not wrong in that I'm making assumptions. nothing new. the word racist is just one of many over-used words being tossed around in the age of Trump. it's old, laughable and doing more harm to the real arguments than good. when everything and everyone is racist things get watered down and dismissed more easily.
  6. Remove race from his statements as I feel confident Mace isn't saying black people only. He's saying everyone who commits crimes is responsible for it regardless of their race. Everyone's own personal responsibly and expectation to obey our laws isn't dependent on their skin color. We don't get to break laws and be lessor citizens and cry foul blaming whitey or others for that poor behavior.
  7. since when did I say tomorrow wasn't going to be great? It's been a banner year and the house thing isn't likely going to impact that. ditto.
  8. they did as did mine through Ellis Island. They both did it legally and they came here with skills. We all have opinions on that. He's on-point with his agenda matching why I put him there. YMMV
  9. you also don't work in a field / position where someone from the caravan could even pose a threat to you and your job. I don't see it that people are "worried" about the caravan as much as it is they are pissed and put-off by them and their approach. The lack of respect for our laws and the sense of entitlement to what we have built is what people get mad about. Sure, there are bad guys that come in and that's to be expected. We don't need to fear that, we just need to confront the reality and deal with it. Fear is nothing more than not having a plan to do that. Perhaps that is where the 'fear' stems is that many here are ignoring the reality and don't want to deal with it. Sure we do have systems in place but they don't work if we continue to allow illegals to sneak in and not go through them. It starts with law and order and respect of our system. It also has to do with costs. Nothing in life is free and our success and wealth is not something everyone who has less is entitled to. WE decide not them. That's the other part I think plays in.
  10. The push for 2020 starts today so don't count on it. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  11. came here to say the same thing. those are fucking nasty ugly wheels for a new car. not a fan of that blue color on the stripes either.
  12. The number of people crossing the southern border increased significantly in 2014 to 68,445. Then, it dropped the following year to 39,838, before increasing again in 2016 to 77,674. The figure was similar in 2017, and it’s on track to again top 70,000 this year. Using your numbers if 81% apprehension rate that still leaves roughly 13,300 this year alone that will make it in. That's fucking lot of them yes. At roughly 150lbs ea. and I think that's low, that's roughly 998 tons of body weight coming across this border. 2.73 tons per day if you look at it daily. Then bleeding hearts like you should easily be able to take up a go-fund me page to pay for them. This is the kitchen section on CR.....not one single person here likely thinks that they are free from criticism.
  13. well these people aren't walking 1,400 miles for nothing. they have purpose and you're welcome to believe what you want. tons of them try daily and tons to indeed get through. we wouldn't have so many dreamers if it was all bullshit. You sure made it sound like not.
  14. so the people in the caravan lie about what they intend to do? dude.... So I'm not entitled to share an opinion and point out live interviews that I've seen on CNN? Talk about squashing free speach. I appreciate your love but I'm good. Just am not going to advocate we continue to leave our borders open and our own country and it's citizens to be exploited by outsiders who feel it's okay to circumvent our borders and laws to come live here.
  15. They aren't lies. I'm sure you tube has the run of videos from CNN and other networks. The stories I referenced were from this week and as the reporter talked to the people through translators, the admitted that if they are denied or turned away that they would have to cross illegally. The one guy admitted he had already been deported but gave himself a 30% chance of getting in illegally. He further admitted that many are in the same boat and are tagging along with the caravan because of safety in numbers. Believe what you want, it's your vote, I'll do the same.
  16. We have a lot of talented folks in all industries here. Anyone do appliance repair as their job? Looking to connect with a good group or repair man.
  17. Didn't know that and really don't need to know that but okay. Also, most everyone does but I don't support caravans of migrants forcing themselves into our country like this. they have been offered Asylum in Mexico but most are still heading here. Their plight doesn't automatically grant them some special privilege to storm across our borders. No you won't and I'm not. it's not entirely about whether we can or can't. just because we can doesn't mean we should. certainly not in every case. I know and support their recent lowering of the numbers but caravans of people who will attempt and plan to attempt to sneak has a tolerance of zero in my book. We have a strong need to firm up the security around who gets to curb illegals.
  18. You get it. Everything has limits including the numbers of those we as a country can take under our wing regardless of why they are coming to us. To not have limits or controls is irresponsible.
  19. So Kerry likes to inject race and you like to toy around with religion when neither is the issue nor brought up by those opposing you. Typical CR.
  20. watch the news. just about every station has interviewed them. I saw on CNN just last night 3 stories.
  21. don't play stupid. you know catch and release was Obama's favorite game.
  22. it's their job to follow the process like my grand parents and I'm assuming yours too. Mine came through Ellis Island and followed the rules. They didn't simply walk in with demands or expectations of being allowed to roam free from day one.
  23. I'm saying park their asses in a tent city and work through our existing processes in place. Either they qualify for asylum or they don't. Many don't / won't and will end up going back. Others who are applying legally for entry, I'm cool with. Let them wait it out as the process dictates. We need to limit the entries as there's a cost to doing so and we can't afford to be the crazy cat lady. What makes them different is they are basically insisting that they come in and be turned loose without following our rules.
