  1. I think the question for people is to reverse the above. I'm glad we agree that people need to take personal responsibility. That said, should we the people continue to wait around for politicians to do nothing or perhaps begin taking action to get healthy on our own? Regardless of anyone's answer, the truth is WE have more control over our own health, that of our family and the costs that impact us than politicians. Not full control but quite a bit.
  2. Can't force fatties to do much now can we. My point is the best solution for those concerned about their health lies within themselves.
  3. What's the rub with the Lazy Susan? Was it a PIA to install is why? We did the S-Shaped pull out kind and love it. Both top and bottom are fully adjustable. Holds the PIA pots and pans, etc. Props for doing that work on your own. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168526705/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168526706/original.jpg
  4. Our health are system is a train wreck that can be fixed by the people if they would just step up and eat better and actually exercise. Costs related to Acute illnesses are one thing but most of our costs are wrapped up in failed chronic disease treatments that would for the most part not be needed if people gave a fuck about what they put in their bodies. Ditch the sugars and processed foods and step outside for some fresh air once in a while. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  5. The Marathon at Sawmill / Billingsley has a really nice touch free system. I recommend the $11 basic wash with underbody and drying. I avoid the add-on waxes, etc. as they are crap and will often cause your wipers to chatter.
  6. So the owner has had the vehicle just under 2,300 miles and has been just killing it with tunnel washes and it has bugged him since his first one. Such a beautiful color red for the lines on this car it deserved to be completely corrected and coated. He has since bought a membership to a nice touch-free laser guided wash that does a super job with out inflicting any damage. In reviewing the options he opted for my Elite Enhancement Correction Service to get it as close to what it once was at 100% pure gloss as it is after all one of a few of his daily driver cars. Based on the some of the deeper scratches and harsh treatment with this service I was able to get him 95%+ Bummer is as you'll seen in the photos, mother nature was rather gloomy that day and the hours was a bit late to really show it's true beauty. Here's few before pics showing the scratches and swirls and the final results of once it' was fully coated with a Dual Layer of Cquartz UK v3.0 and the Glass Coated to resist water and ice as well. 2018 Tesla Model S; 100D Swirls were bad and looked much worse in person with light on the panels. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516891/original.jpg http://www.reflectivesurfaces.net/elite-enhancement.html/original.jpg Random Deeper Scratches were present as well http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516892/original.jpg It all responded extremely well to the correction service though http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516894/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516893/original.jpg Unfortunately it was very late in the day and the sky, well, typical Ohio December Gray http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516895/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516897/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516900/original.jpg I love the 21" wheels on this beast. Owner is aware that they are summer only tires but he has another vehicle he will use on verry cold and snow ridden days http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516896/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516899/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516898/original.jpg
  7. The Tesla group has proven itself very cool guys and gals. Most are true car people with a leading driver in being the cutting edge tech that these cars pack in. I've met everyone from blue collar drivers to doctors and lawyers driving these cars and one thing they all seem to want is for their rides to shine. Here's a Model 3 that came to me to help repair the lack of finish work a body shop provided. Unfortunately less than one month into ownership this car was struck in a parking lot on the rear passenger quarter panel. The body shop approved and recommended by both Tesla and Nationwide did IMO the worse job I've seen in terms of paint work. It came in VERY noticeable and horrible. If it were mine, I would be pissed and have never taken it back. That said I think the outcome is now acceptable but still noticeable to those that can spot paint work and even a novice looking at it would see a difference in the orange peel. Overall the car wasn't in horrible shape but the owner is a car wash guy and had been going through tunnel washes that did their share of swirl installation onto the finish. In discussions of what I could offer in the way of fixing the damage and his options for maintaining it going forward, he has since moved to completely touchless methods. He decided to go with my Premium Enhancement Polish Service, added in some additional time for the bad body work fix and then topped the entire car with a Dual Layer of CarPro Cquartz UK v3.0. Being it's roof line is entirely glass, I also added two layers of Glass Coating to ensure water and ice are not an issue for quite a while. Here's what I started and ended with. Thanks to Roy for all the trust and referrals since! 2018 Tesla Model 3: As you can see here the body work was okay but the finish work.....horrible. Texture, tons of overspray on the entire rear including back glass, etc. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516884/original.jpg Finish wise, the tunnel washes did their part in adding in a nice Brillo/Scotch Pad looking gloss http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516883/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516885/original.jpg My what a difference a good polish and of course pure black makes http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516886/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516887/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516888/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/image/168516947/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168516890/original.jpg
  8. lots. stick to rinseless and if you need to actually "spray" the solution use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NA7CDPG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's my go-to for rinse-less in my garage offering very fast/efficient coverage and power when needed. great for wheels, etc. Honlestly, nothing beats a $10 touch-less wash or a DIY Spray off prior too. I use this with 5 gals water to clean both vehicles. I use about 6-8 old beach towels we have had / bought at a garage sales to help keep the floor dry and too much moisture from being released in the heated air. Drop them in a bucket/spin dry, and move on. I use a modified Gary-Dean method with a handful of 480gsm towels and can finish a single vehicle from trashed to spotless in less than an hour including wheels. Having a vehicle ceramic coated really helps too
  9. Do waterless. I'll show you how to do a car with less than 2 gals. Zero issues. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  10. Dean Moser at Germain. Great guy and will take care of you. You could also ask for Randy or Bill next door at their quick lane service center. Both are awesome and they can bill it back to Ford. They and the one tech Ed are awesome and trustworthy. I know them well. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  11. ^^ this. My in laws place in Caldwell had about a dozen or so that my brother and law and I had to take out years back. As we walked back to the abandoned barn there were 3 of them tearing the shit out of a racoon they hunted. I couldn't believe how they gutted it in minutes as they rolled around kicking their back legs against it. That's the first time I ever feared a cat that small but the three of them were fierce and they were growling at us as we approached. That barn was theirs until that day.
  12. or $80k for a Hellcat Version
  13. Perhaps but given where it sits price wise for what you get it's damn nice. Factor in they typically lease out extremely well and better than the competition in most cases the value is strong. The level of refinement of today's Lincolns is on-par if not better in some ways than Mercedes. I don't say that lightly either since my wife has had one in the past and loved it. So far the best part about my wife's Lincoln has bee the service level and customer support.
  14. Found another SUV worth looking at. 600+lbs of torque should feel good around town. Go Ford.
  15. Sadly I think the Blackwing is awesome. 550 HP and 627 lb-ft of torque for the CT6-V Love it and as I get older I'd seriously love driving one. The CUE System still sucks donkey balls though. Would make a great lease/test drive for a few three years though and who knows...that shit might actually hold it's value like the CTS-V's currently have done. I've been leaning towards my next car being a larger boat that goes like Hell but cruises like Heaven.
  16. Not sure how I feel about all this except that it's likely a move that is past-due. I drove through a few dealerships yesterday killing time and including the car I drive now, there's really nothing that WOW'd me. It was to the point that it made me think about how there are so many different vehicles out there that I don't want I wondered if they were even selling. I'm still a sedan driver and will likely continue to be but I do still miss the softer more luxurious ride of a larger SUV. If I pulled the trigger today and started over I would have chose a performance SUV and likely gotten a bit of both of my desires. The downside when looking is the 500hp Stelvio wasn't out yet and it was certainly commanding a pretty penny. Same with the SRT's and more Jeeps. Most of them are just stupid in pricing. I drove a co-workers Telsa again, and I still waffle on pulling the trigger there but his SUV was $120k. Talk about a huge price tag for an SUV. He loves it and that beast move out like nothing I've driven before.
  17. 9mm for Pistols. Easy to find ammo and I have several thus why change Love .357's Was one of my first firearms thanks to my father in law .22 Rifles since I was 10 as they are just so much fun to plink with
  18. This. At first it looks like a great vantage point but the reality is once you think through safety, it quickly becomes clear that it's likely the worse place to be. ^^ this. Full speeds views of that show how quickly life can go from good to bad/challenging.
  19. No it's not. If he's a super here reporter then he can formulate questions for his peers to ask if they deem them valid and him a team player. He's not and his questions are typically stupid. Trump is perhaps the most open and accessible person we've seen stand on that podium. He stops and takes questions just about every time he pops his head outside the White House. He just did the same thing early this morning as he heads out to CA too. All we're seeing is a personality conflict. That room has a ton of people packed in there with complete access. There's no freedoms being squashed. They all ask away every day and Trump turns and spends time with them far more than anyone ever expected. He loves that shit, he knows it, they know it, etc. He/the administration is free to ask whoever they want questions. Perhaps instead of asking dumb questions and acting like a dick and pissing people Jim should figure out how to be the one they want to ask questions. Lots of reporters in that room get asked questions all the time. There's a reason why Jim gets flack and IMO he brought it upon himself.
  20. I think Trump was an idiot for calling on him that day. but he must have wanted to banter that day. Reality is they both wanted a public scene and both got one. Personally, I don't think they should have removed his security pass I think they should just let him sit there and be ignored and if anyone tries to pass their turn to him just ignore him and move on.
  21. Agree. It was simply a power play. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
