That vehicle performed like it was possessed and did not want that guy pushing it's gas pedal. + rep for it having Farkas in the name.

Try and keep the exif in tact. Not sure if you're saving it and removing it or if your host doesn't support it. Need that to give further technical support.

in for nudes of one eye'd chick.

^^ Best post in this thread. Agree completely. I also don't think the cop likely even knows she's there. He's clocking cars, listening to dispatch and likely not even aware that outside his running cruiser with air going, traffic zipping by and all the other stuff going on that she was even there. Most citizens have cell phones. The chick needs to dial up her hubby or a a tow truck or AAA. Unless she's in a precarious spot, she's likely just fine and quite safe outside her car on the side of the road as she waits for help she has called to come take care of her.

Just a quick follow up as I know there are tons of good articles on the subject. Key overall is to just be sure before you capture a moment that you know what in the scene you want to be the focal point and where you want the observers eyes to go. That will help you determine framing, lighting and exposure. Again, what the viewer sees and experiences is first and creative soul of the product. The Image Quality is a given. That has to be good too. The Rule of Thirds is basic 101 stuff. It's the first thing you'll learn in any composition class. Some cameras do this on screen or in the viewfinder, but you can simply in your mind, divide up your frame into three distinct vertical and three distinct horizontal sections. When composing your photo, keep the action and important focal points to the areas where those sections overlap. Framing, is what I mentioned in terms of leading the viewer's eyes to a focus point or around the subject or photo as a whole. The key is to allow framing to compliment the subject, but not be the main element that people notice in your images. The subject is key and the fun and interesting journey for the viewer is how you properly frame the image and draw the viewer into seeing it. Lighting is the most important make or break element. Afterall, photography is painting with light. Be sure you use it properly and wisely. Proper exposure is next. Get to know your camera and it's metering system. Blown out areas are not usually recoverable nearly as easily, so I tend to shoot as far right without blowing them. Don't confuse proper post processing with getting it right out of the camera. Exposure can be fixed, but it's an element you don't want to miss from the start. I hope the above helps.

Okay. You want CC on everything or just on Image Quality (IQ)? I have to keep it short if possible. I'll do so by touching on the upside of each. I can't say much technically with the exif attached but I will say think about DOF and how you want to make an image pop. Composition is everything. It's equiv. to blowing a launch at the track. The rest is just wasted gas. I know you're just playing around with snaps but composition comes first and that has to be said. Pic1. The boxer, focus on her/his eys. Especially on narrow DOF shots like this. The old saying is People Pay to See Faces and when doing so the eyes need to be in focus. That's the lesson with Pic 1. Pic 2. The second dog, Great pup, lots of loyalty and love likely there. Read what you want, but that's about all I've got with that one. Pic 3. You were onto something here in terms of positioning. Wheels turned correctly but no bling to show off there. You got low, which is good. That's all I have there too. Pic 4. You were experimenting with Angles. Keep it up. Pic 5. Again, good perspective and once again, you got low. Rule of thirds plays in a bit in terms of composition here and my eyes actually move along the car. Pic 6. Cricket Pic 7. Cricket, Cricket My points are all in good fun and not intended as a poke man, so please don't take them that way. I'm happy to help and could go on about them. Call, PM, post, text me any time. I do accept just fuck off and die comments too. tim

Late day sun on a hot summer day. Lots play into that. Without the Exif in tact I can't determine too much, but that's an easy fix.

In that first pic, you'd swear I have your dogs twin Will come back to you with CC in a bit.

Agree. I agree that the level of invasiveness "could be" uncomfortable for some. However, I don't believe it would be unbearable for the majority. Nothing in life worth fighting for is easy or comfortable. I think by making things a little more uncomfortable or less easy for the bad guys, we'll certainly catch more. Call the damn white elephant in the room out already. If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, it's worth investigating to confirm it's a duck. No harm, no fowl - pun intended. I respect your opinion and thoughts too. And while we may not agree entirely, I think you know me well enough to know that my text here isn't meant to be aggressive or offensive to you. I just wanted to say that. In terms of slippery slopes, I'm not worried about it as it relates to the gov't catching bad guys. Hell, if you're up to no good then you should be worried. If you're not, then don't. There are programs out there that filter email and search the web for photos and can easily track s/n of cameras and track down the owners. I use a dumb down'd one for consumers for my work. You don't think the gov't uses the full version to catch pedophiles or terrorists already? Please, I could care less. Search my email, web sites, history or even my computers for child porn. I could care less; although I will celebrate removing the freaks that may be living around me hiding today. I support going to get them. I love the freedoms we have, but I take a slight bend from your view in that I also know the world is changing and that we are facing issues today the founding fathers did not. If we don't deal with those issues in new ways, the bad guys are going to continue to exploit the loop holes and only we are to blame. Change or Die as they say. Unfortunately in many cases we allowing others to die.

and my point is that if your father saw the red flags, had what he believes to be gut reasons for something to happen, then the hurdles that make booting him out or investigating things further need to be removed otherwise the system that allows this to continue will continue to be flawed and our safety that much more vulnerable. I'm not a fan of big gov't. I'm not supportive of gov't involvement in my life in a vast number of areas. However, I'm not a bit worried if the powers that be need to pass us all through a filter to help remove a few bad seeds. They aren't going to flip over mattresses in every house. I prefer they actually not overlook the obvious as they seem to be doing.

and regardless of the love or hate for this car, if anyone who watched this video isn't inspired to go "drive" whatever the hell is in their garage that is remotely fun, then they should be banned. Andy, you piss me off in a good way because you're crawling behind the wheel of a car that easily exceeds the passion shown in this video. Now I'm off to drive my little MS3 and I don't want to talk about it any further

Based just on that name coming up in a computer I would agree that it's as suspicoius as Naser Jason Abdo would be. However, looking beyond their name would reveal the two are completely different. Obama would be cleared in 10 seconds. Not this kid. We got lucky thanks to a store owner that given what happened just two years ago is likely much more aware of things now I never said profiling would have caught Timothy McVeigh as by nature it won't reveal those hiding in plain sight that don't meet the profile you're looking for. However, it sure as hell would have been a great start on someone named Nidal Malik Hasan or Naser Jason Abdo. I'll take 2 out of 3 bad guys down any day if all it took was looking 1 step beyond a name that is clearly suspicious and with valid reasoning to make it so. Let's play that out, yes, I'm a republican and Catholic with similar middle class clean-roots as McVeigh. The differences begin upon realizing I'm not a military guy obsessed with anti gov't thinking who is pissed about the Waco incident that subscribes to pro militia magazinesand into being a survivalist to the extent his whacked out brain was. I think I'd pass that first 5 second pass of the computer profile program with ease.
-
I'm sorry but anyone named Abdo and who is Muslim should have been under a microscope daily. I don't care if anyone likes it or not, if the shoe fits.....and in the past couple years, there have been two pretty clear instances of shoes fitting. Glad they caught the guy.

Corrected. He loved that car. Ran great and wasn't abused. The mods and times are posted are directly from him. good to see it in good hands. Mikes still active on goclubgp.com

Job thing sucks. Car does not. Welcome. :gabe:
-
If Farkas did it, then it would be cool. Otherwise, the Vette is the only thing that strikes me of value there.
-
Good vid. Little slow to start then jumped around a lot then died slowly. I can appreciate the car and my buddy who hits C&C with his is cool, but there are better values to be had. I'd own one but not for what they seem to bring. The somewhat uniqueness is appealing. You never did see them much and that's worth a check box on my Ben Franklin T-Chart.

Don't feel bad. It's the same story among even the best photographers with the latest gear. :fa: Always will be.
-
The reason they appear that way is that they were taken up close with a focal length that is a 35mm equiv. to 17mm (4.2mm on a 1/2.3 size sensor camera - He's using a Sony H55). That combined with the slight upward angle is causing the perspective issues. Notice the cabinets and how they get skinny towards the bottom...same with his tire. It's evident in all the photos. It can be corrected easily and is nothing Kirk did wrong, just the nature of looking through a lens set to a wide focal length at close range. The above is why you don't shoot portraits at wider focal lengths as you will completely distort facial features.
-
man they need to update the pics on their site. we're talking 70-80's film era there.
-
both look great. stock are classy and sexy, the black is evil and mean looking. hell, you have the gear, I'd swap them out like the shoes I wear if that was my set up
-
Looks good. You must not be a fan of tastefully done tint? I'd do that and call it done.

I'll take more profitable any day.

I said give me....:lolguy:
