So I had an opportunity to detail Ben's 5.0. It has been several years since it was ceramic coated and was in need of some love. Car was pretty swirled up but turned out about 95+ % corrected. In the process I also cleaned and sealed the convertible top so it should be than shed water as much as the paint will Ben chose to go with the Geyon Synchro package that I have recently fallen in love with. It is the coating that I've used on my wife's SUV and is ridiculously hydrophobic and self cleaning. I'm in the middle of rebuilding a computer so all I can do is work off of a cell phone so here are a few basic shots along with a video showing its performance. Thanks again to Ben for trusting me with his daily driver and one of the better so doing Mustangs I've had the opportunity to cold start in the morning. Video of Geyon Syncro after 2 months of daily exposure Ben's Mustang: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571785/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571784/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571786/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571787/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571788/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167571789/original.jpg Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

Looking to add about 2 yards of good quality topsoil to our backyard planting bed. Anyone here know of a quality and reliable source? Need it delivered and spread out. I'm too old for this stuff. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

Dem Eric Swalwell wrote an op-ed and supports legislation proposing what I mentioned. He does have his head in the clouds so I suppose you're correct. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

Remove all guns and then criminalize all the hundreds of millions of they dont comply. Stupidest fucking thing ever proposed. Fucking libtards. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

Not legally but it would depend on how the laws written, however I can't see it being written in such a way that they would be. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk

Ben is correct. Parents are just as much to blame here as the teen in TX. Cars are not in the same category as a gun in terms of privilege nor in terms of a parents responsibility for those around them including their children. It’s not careless to leave the keys to your SUV out on the table but it is careless to leave a gun in easy access to them. I support the need for there to be laws requiring properly securing all firearms. It’s common sense. We require family pools to be secured but not guns...stupid. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

Agree. The "why" these instances are occurring is key. Lots of factors involved but IMO it's not related to what libs typically cry out about which is guns. Glad this one appears to not be a rifle thus we'll not likely here the same dumb talk from the left about them.

Time to address how these kids are getting guns Time to address how these people are getting guns into schools Time to address securing schools that don't have police with police (good thing this one did) and the Illinois one the other day too. Time to begin profiling to figure out how to identify these students

Good luck all. I'll have to settle for watching the vids and highlights as I'll be at The Memorial Tournament that weekend.

I hear she does anal. Bonus points for what looked to be a clean pinch-off too.
-
she looked to have a decent pooper for a milf.

I can see getting pissed off but that's a shitty move on her part.

Tape-off and repair the top and bottom areas. Wait 24hrs, then use Yellow Frog Tape, tape off the top and bottom areas and put on some primer or your orange paint if it has primer in it. May take 2 coats to level off. Yellow frog tape is good stuff but don't press it down super hard and do so on the leading edge. Use care when pulling it off. The only time I had a problem with it pulling up paint is on our bathroom that was done in Eggshell. I should have waited longer to paint but I needed to finish. Wasn't a problem but I had to use care removing it off paint that was 24hrs old.

Semi-Gloss needs to be de-glossed before painting over it. Paint won't properly bond to it and in time will crack too. Did it remove the semi gloss too?

Dibs on leftovers!

^^ this. If money is tight, just paint them. Do the doors the same color as the walls and trim white. That would buy you some time before you change them out. Overall, congrats on the purchase and nice work on all that you've done so far!

I know....I really don't keep up on years and what not so when he told me it was a 2008 I had that same thought. I love it however as the C6Z is timeless IMO. Keep in mind this car has over 70k on the ODO too. It's not perfect but it's darn near. There are three things I would replace if it were mine. The window seal trim that has lost it's clear coat The windshield since it's severely sandblasted from long trips....that would be covered under insurance as I'm sure a rock would eventually nail it  and lastly the front air damn lip....sand blasted and scraped. It's minor but easy to replace. Otherwise, from walking up to the car now that it's finish is back to 9/10 any normal person would be hard pressed to guess it's age.

So I did Ben's wheels earlier in the spring but have never seen his car. Let's just say I heard it before I saw it and now I don't care if I see it because is sounds so damn nice it doesn't matter what it looks like I may have to do a cold start and back up out of my garage video just to make Casey wish he had a V8 Car wasn't in too bad of shape but the hood and decklid had their share of scratches and marks. Turned out 98%+ corrected and shines like silver should. More pics coming but here are a few teasers for now. It's now protected with two coats of Cquartz Coating and ready to hit up a Cars & Coffee or track day event. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167461395/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167461394/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167461393/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167461396/original.jpg

I know, but the screws going into it are plastic and won't come out easily so I'm not fucking with it. I have no interest in breaking one of them off inside and having to mess around fixing it. On the upside, the roof rail-cross beams weren't seized up and came off nicely. I'll put those back on tonight.

I know.....we decided against a wheels-off detail otherwise I'd have hit them with some black paint.
