    Hike-In Camping?

As mentioned before - ODNR is a great resource. I enjoyed hiking the Zaleski Backpack loop in southern Ohio. Don't have all the info with me this morning, but ODNR has all the details. North & Soth Loop - or combine for longer trip. No shelters, but water & latrines at designated camp areas. Some interesting Ohio history at places on the trail marked with numbered posts - and spelled out in the trail guide. Also near the Moonville tunnel - supposedly haunted, interesting side trip.
  3. May I translate... 1) Remove distributor from motor 2) Remove roll pin from distributor drive gear (small punch) 3) Pull shaft out of distributor - it should be snug as it comes out 4) Replace pickup assembly 5) Reverse steps above to reassemble, set timing (even if you marked everything originally) 6) Drive
  4. Let's just say it's more like a quarter mile walk than run...
  5. Sorry, description revised w/ details & price - too big a rush last night!

  10. OK - these are the right size, but not really "all-season": 4 - Yokohama ES100 225/50R-16 6-8 32nds tread (3 tires), 1 at or below wear bars $60 set Forgot these were still out in the shed....
  11. There's a better way - they were building a car called a "Shogun" which was a Festiva with a Ford SHO drivetrain mounted amidships. Jay Leno has one: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.shotimes.com/images/SHOgun/Leno2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.shotimes.com/SHO4_jayl.html&h=385&w=640&sz=39&hl=en&start=8&um=1&tbnid=F0XMMXEzRabu4M:&tbnh=82&tbnw=137&prev=/images%3Fq%3DShogun%2Bcar%2BSHO%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN It's a much cleaner way to go in my opinion - if you want a really fast roller skate!
  12. Pulling a set of 225/60-16's off a '06 Grand Prix (Goodyear LS?) today if you can squeeze them into the fenders.
  13. WTF!?!? It couldn't have anything to do with getting old, fat, bald and having kids could it!!!! Wait - I resemble that remark - you mean I coulda been a contenda too!!!
  14. How about these - make an offer! http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41911
  15. Check Cibie or Hella (links below)- the two best performance lighting manufacturers for decades - Piaa a close second. These two manufacturers are the premier suppliers to race teams (and offer tremendous trackside support). I think International Parts Store still stocks Hella -or you can always find them online. http://www.hella.com/produktion/HellaUSA/WebSite/Channels/Home/Home.jsp http://cibie.valeoservice.com/html/uk/nouvellestechnologies.xenon.php

  17. A few pieces are gone (along with some weights that went with them) - new link to remaining stuff below: http://columbus.craigslist.org/spo/436125590.html Both pieces are nice and allow a wide ranging workout - great to start out a home gym - can deal a little if you want all that's left!
  18. I can - but I don't want to sell off the weights until the machines are gone. I'll let you know!
  19. I just can't keep this with all the other projects going on - good solid car to restore or engine swap? 1974 Jensen Healey, 26K original miles! 2.0L Lotus engine, 4 speed, AM/FM/Cassette, new tires, battery, water pump. Includes new top (still in box), reprint of factory manual, and car cover. Purchased from second family to own car - was in storage several years - now ready to enjoy this fall. Not perfect by any stretch, but a good solid car. Other home improvement projects-lack of winter storage forces sale. $3500 or reasonable offer Pictures here: ***OLD LINK DELETED***
  20. Houses, cars, investments - makes no difference - there are always "good deals" and "bad deals". Buying in a new development - especially early on - used to almost guarantee you a profit by the time it was "built out". Now there are a glut of new houses - and a lack of buyers, and falling prices. In more established neighborhoods, you can still find good buys - houses below market value that just need some TLC, and overpriced pigs that someone bought to "flip" and did a bunch of half-assed "upgrades" that will need redone. To me it boils down to one word - EQUITY. The great thing about owing land - they aren't making any more of it! As to debt - I wil never borrow money to buy a car - why make payments on a depreciating asset. I will (and have) borrowed money to buy the right house in the right location at the right price since the appreciation will offset some of the interest. Yes, the housing market can collapse and the houses devalue - but if you've bought well, it will only be temporary, and good houses in good areas will rarely be worth less.
