x2 No one should take personal offense to this. It's something that happened in our past heritages and something for us to learn from. They were teaching a history lesson.

I moved out to the LH district from Columbus back in my 8th grade year. I can definitely say I was on a much higher and demanding academic structure in Columbus Public Schools (Algebra, Geometry, Spanish, Physical Science). When I moved they wouldn't allow me to take 3 of those classes taking 3 credits from me. When I started taking classes I felt as if they were working on 6th grade work. Homework used to take me at least an hour to do at night at Columbus. LH, I would have my homework done before I left the class I was in. I've literally had a teacher break down in front of our class crying telling us how he couldn't teach because he was too overweight to stand up and he only kept the job for the benefits. Your kids will have quite a troublesome jump going to college unless you have them in all AP classes at Licking Heights. They simply won't be prepared for what's coming. Best bet is to have them go to school til Junior year and then enroll them at OSUN for their secondary schooling. The race thing somewhat still is a problem out there, has been and always will be. A teacher got fired this year for verbally abusing an African American student (calling him racial slur names)

I wouldn't suggest the Licking Heights school district.

How is the Vinyl set if you've gotten it? After a week of having the CD I like it a lot and am expecting something to follow. Morning Mr. Magpie, Lotus Flower and Separator are all great songs. I really like this album a lot and am expecting a tour from them this year.

If you hook something up to your computer and you use a mac check out PLEX media center to keep all your movies and music together.

In our house we do Netflix through the PS3 or 360. I know my brother has a T.V. with apps on it that he'll use for Netflix.

Are there any audio shops in Columbus that carry high end speakers/ headphones other than Progressive Audio? I've been looking into getting some higher end headphones and want to try them out before I buy. All I can seem to find are Grado phones at Progressive and I'm looking for a much larger variety of closed can headphones. ATH, B&D, AKG, Ultrasones

Since switching to AT&T I've been nothing but more than happy. Verizon dropped at least 5 calls a day for me. AT&T maybe twice in the last 9 months. Having TRUE Unlimited data is a HUGE plus in my book. Thanks for the info on the rollover minutes.

x2, the XOOM is going to be the tab I wait for. The only thing keeping me from the tabs now is my phone can do everything that a tab can do right now.

They had it at the Columbus Beer Fest. It was definitely one of my favorites that I tried there out of the 12 or 13 I made it through.

You shouldn't have to change your plan to upgrade. You should be grandfathered in. Signing a new 2 year contract should not change your bill or anything else.

Most places won't hire under 16, but try Olde Summit Towne Restaurant on the corner of Summit and E. Broad. I got hired on there when I was 15. Just don't sit down to eat any of the food.

If you go this route, check with AT&T to see if they'll require you to have a data plan with this phone. I don't know if they considered it a smart phone or not.
