  6. They make pretty good starter bikes, except for the weight. The power is manageable and handle well unless pushed, then the aftermarket steps in.
  7. that should be a sweet bike when its all done. My dad just gave me his 1980 CB 750 custom, not sure which way to go with it yet. Just put a pipe on it, jet kit and K&N on the way.
  8. probably not. but it would be cool. tyler is right, my xs was $355 and the cb was free.
  9. i'd kill to have a boxed swing arm for my 1978 Yamaha xs 650 and or 1980 Honda cb 750 custom.

  16. Ok guys, i just bought my first buffer, a 7" Black & Decker random orbital. It came with three bonnets, a cutting, polishing and finish I believe. Are there any tips that you have for starting out? recommended chemicals(easily found)? I plan on first washing the car, following up by claying, then using turtle wax polish/cleaner, and finally waxing with Zymole. Thanks!

I drove it to the body shop today for him to get an estimate. It was not totaled. The front bumper is fucked, big dent in drivers side front fender, rear bumper is scratched, the front end needs straightened but is driving straight, pass. head light is broken. I think that's about it.
  21. Take it easy for the first 50 or so miles. That's about it really, it wears off.
  22. That bike was outside Pony the other day i saw it on my lunch break. It doesn't look like its got a HotBodies pipe on it.
  23. Oh darn!! another bike i don't have money for!!
  24. It happens. It is really hard to keep everything in stock that everyone needs. There is almost no back stock. Almost every space is used to the max. It just depends on what parts you need. We try to always have the normal stuff( chains, sprockets, oil filter, etc) but most of the aftermarket stuff is impossible to sell. As for the spark plug, many bikes at singles or twins that use the same one and they come in a pack of ten so it is easy to end up with odd numbers.
